Raft for All: Why are you the only one doing island survival?

Chapter 15: The No. 1 Island in the Entire Server?

Lin Feng stretched, his bones cracking.

I sat against a tree trunk all night, and with my body strengthened tenfold, I couldn't find a single sore spot.

He stood up and surveyed the camp.

Ten burly men, some squatting and some standing, were all waiting for him to speak.

Dian Wei stood to the side of the wooden house, his two halberds planted at his feet, motionless like an iron tower.

Lin Feng walked to the center of the camp and clapped his hands twice.

"I'll check off today's tasks one by one."

Eleven pairs of eyes focused on it simultaneously.

Lin Feng looked at Dian Wei first.

Dian Wei.

"Your subordinate is here."

"Take two people and go deep into the heart of the island. Let me see all the rare things we can find."

Lin Feng paused.

"Also keep a close eye on the blue portal in the woods to the north. Don't get too close, just observe for any unusual activity."

Dian Wei picked up one halberd with one hand, and then picked up another.

The two iron rods, as light as bamboo poles in his hands, were tucked under his armpits.

"Rest assured, my lord."

Lin Feng turned his head and glanced at the group of burly men.

"Square face".

The square-faced man jolted and stood up abruptly.

"exist!"

"You go with Dian Wei."

The square-faced man opened his mouth slightly, then wisely closed it again.

He secretly glanced at Dian Wei, the feeling of being swept five meters away in one move still lingering on his back.

Spend a day with this evil spirit?

But he dared not utter a single word of dissent.

"become!"

Lin Feng then picked another person from the remaining group.

That man was second only to the square-faced man in size, with shoulders so broad they could block the road; he was the second strongest among ten burly men.

"You should go too."

The burly man glanced at Dian Wei's towering figure, swallowed hard, and bowed his head in response.

"Yes, Master."

Dian Wei didn't turn around; he carried his double halberds and strode away.

With each step he took, he sank deeper into the muddy ground, and the aura he exuded made the air feel heavier.

The square-faced man paused for a second, then quickly jogged to catch up.

The other burly man dared not delay and gave chase immediately.

The two men followed behind Dian Wei, one on each side, not daring to even breathe loudly.

Dian Wei's silhouette was so wide that it almost blocked out most of the road in front of him.

The square-faced man stared at the ends of the two halberds, with only one thought in his mind. This man didn't even use the halberds; he swept all ten of them away with just his arms.

What a sight it would be if they started swinging their halberds!

He dared not think about it anymore.

The three figures quickly disappeared into the woods to the north.

Lin Feng withdrew his gaze and continued to select people.

"Third brother, fifth brother."

Two strong men who were skilled in swimming stepped forward in response.

"Take the fishing nets and head to the beach. We need enough fish for twelve mouths to eat today."

The two men hoisted the large fishing net leaning against the wall and ran towards the southern coast.

There were six strong men left in the camp.

Lin Feng assigned them one by one.

"You two cut down the trees and push them westward to clear that patch of low bushes."

The two men picked up their axes and left.

"You two go and pull up some wild hemp grass. There's still more than half of that patch of grass from yesterday. Pull it all back and make rope."

Two more left.

"The two of you are left to move stones on the riverbank. Pick the big ones, round ones and flat ones."

Finally, the two of them carried their baskets and left.

In less than a minute, Lin Feng was the only one left in the camp.

The surroundings quieted down, with only the muffled sound of an iron axe chopping down a tree coming from afar.

Lin Feng turned around and walked towards the brand-new two-story wooden house behind him.

The sturdy wooden door was pushed open, and the hinges made a dry, soft sound.

Light streamed in from the windows on both sides, casting two bright spots on the floor.

There is a lot of space.

The ground floor is about 30 square meters, and the overhead beams are tall and thick, creating a sense of spaciousness without any feeling of oppression.

The air was filled with the fresh, dry scent of wood.

It's just too "empty".

Four walls, one whole floor, and a ceiling above your head.

Gone.

There wasn't even a stool to stand on.

Lin Feng walked around the room, his footsteps echoing in the empty space.

He walked to the corner and stepped on the floor; it was very solid.

The stone foundation supports the entire house steadily, and there is not a sway when you step on it.

Top quality.

But it's uninhabitable.

He went up the wooden stairs along the wall to the second floor.

The second floor is smaller than the first floor, but it has windows on all four sides, so the light is excellent.

Standing at the window, most of the campsite was in view, and even the shimmering waves on the distant sea were clearly visible.

Excellent view.

Lin Feng thought to himself, "This place is perfect as a command post."

But look down.

It's still empty.

There was no bed, no table or chair, not even a wooden stool to sit on.

A completely unfinished house.

Lin Feng stood in the center of the second floor, feeling somewhat helpless.

The blueprints provided by the system only cover building the house, not interior decoration.

They used over a hundred planks and eighty stones to build a luxurious empty shell.

We need to get some furniture.

He browsed through the system's store and found furniture blueprints, but they weren't cheap.

A simple wooden bed blueprint requires 15 achievement points.

He has 55 points left, which he needs to use sparingly in case of emergency.

Not urgent.

He planned to go to the trading hall first. Even if the players at sea got furniture blueprints, they couldn't use them on the raft, so they might be sold off cheaply.

We'll deal with this later.

Lin Feng went downstairs, walked out of the wooden house, and plopped down on the stone steps at the door.

The steps were uncomfortable, but it was still better than squatting on the muddy ground.

Since he had nothing better to do, he opened the public chat channel.

The channel was filled with cries of despair.

"I only have two planks left on my raft!! A huge fish crashed into it from underneath!! Someone, please save me!!"

"How many people froze to death last night? I just added someone as a friend yesterday, and they haven't said a word to me this morning..."

"Please, please, can anyone tell me how to start a fire? The wooden planks are all wet, they won't light at all!"

"Forget it, you can't light a wet wooden board. I've been trying all night."

"Does it make a difference whether I drink seawater or wait to die?"

"Drinking seawater will only make you die faster, just bear with it, brother."

"My raft got blown apart by the waves and now I'm floating on a plank. Can anyone come and get me? Coordinates... never mind, I don't know the coordinates either."

Lin Feng flipped through a few pages, which were filled with desperate cries.

The horrific scene at sea last night was even worse than he had anticipated.

Most of the survivors had not eaten or drunk anything and were surviving entirely on seaweed scraped off wooden planks.

One player posted a message that made Lin Feng pause for a moment.

"An empty raft floated by me, with half a huge bite mark on it. The person was gone, just a pool of blood. I couldn't bear to look."

The channel was silent for a few seconds before being overwhelmed by new wails.

Just as Lin Feng was about to close the window, a new message with a completely different style popped up.

"Brothers!!!"

The three exclamation marks conveyed an overwhelming sense of excitement that could be felt even through the screen.

"A huge island has appeared in front of me! You heard me right! It's an island!!"

The wailing in the channel instantly decreased by half.

Immediately afterwards, Zhao Qiang posted another message.

"I've been paddling for a whole day and night, and now I can see trees and mountains on the island! I'm finally going to land! Surviving on a raft? To hell with rafts! I'm about to be the island's owner!!"

The channel instantly exploded.

"Holy crap, is this for real?? An island??"

"Send me your coordinates, bro!!"

"Are you sure it's not a mirage? Don't get too excited!"

"Wow, this guy's amazing! He drifted for a whole day and night and still managed to find the island?"

Zhao Qiang's reply was extremely arrogant.

"Coordinates? Heh, dream on. Why should I tell you? I risked my life to paddle this island to get here! From now on, it's my territory! You can keep drifting on the sea, hahahahaha!"
