Huayu Shen Gongbao

Chapter 85: Successful defection, action begins.

At 9 a.m. on August 27, in the Park Hyatt Residence apartment, Tang Yan's hands were tied to the headboard with a tie, and her feet were also fixed with stockings.

She was wearing an eye patch, and everything was dark.

All I could feel was Shen Gongbao holding a paintbrush and painting on my body.

The pen tip pressed against the soft skin, causing a burning pain.

Tang Yan desperately wanted to clench her thighs, but she couldn't move, making her even more restless.

Just as he was enjoying himself, Shen Gongbao suddenly said, "What was Wu Kebo's main purpose in sending you to seduce me?"

In time with this statement, Shen Gongbao's pen suddenly tightened its grip!

Tang Yan shuddered in fright and almost wet herself. She stammered, "You—you—what did you say? I—"

I don't understand!"

"Stop pretending. I know you're an undercover agent sent by Wu Kebo. It's a honey trap, I know."

Tang Yan:

Seeing Tang Yan tense up, Shen Gongbao activated the connection, sighed comfortably, and continued the interrogation: "I'm giving you one last chance. Don't hide anything anymore."

After waking up this morning, Tang Yan's mindset changed. She wasn't love-obsessed, but rather a bit obsessed with romance.

Although it was only one night, the sparks that flew were too dazzling. Tang Yan's affection for Shen Gongbao rose sharply, and she no longer wanted to harm Shen Gongbao for the sake of her career.

Now that things had been exposed, Tang Yan simply confessed everything.

Shen Gongbao then learned that Wu Kebo's plan was actually related to the Jackie Chan charity football match next month.

This is even more fun!

Shen Gongbao was very agitated, and Tang Yan, sensing his firm attitude, became even more submissive.

She continued, "Chengtian wanted to acquire Jiahe through a backdoor listing. Your defamation case affected the company's reputation and hindered Wu Kebo's listing plan, so he hates you to the core."

Shen Gongbao was very satisfied with Tang Yan's attitude and rewarded her a few more times before asking, "So, do you have any leverage that Wu Kebo has over you?"

According to Shen Gongbao, Wu Kebo must have something on Tang Yan to use in his honey trap if he was willing to let her carry it out.

He must solve this problem first if he wants to win Tang Yan over.

Unexpectedly, Tang Yan shook her head and said, "I have no leverage over you. I only signed with Chengtian not long ago."

Mr. Wu promised me a bonus of five million yuan after the deal was done, at least two leading roles in movies, and that he would make me the top star of Chengtian.

He said that as long as I was dealt with, Chengtian could successfully go public, and then the company would be rich and powerful, and would definitely be able to make me famous.

"this one?"

"That's it—hiss~~" Tang Yan's expression froze for a moment before she said, "If we're really talking about leverage, it's that I signed a five-year contract with Cheng Tian. If I don't obey, I might be blacklisted for five years."

There are different versions of when Tang Yan signed with Cheng Tian.

However, the exact time she left Chengtian is May 2012, which suggests that the signing date was May of this year.

If Shen Gongbao hadn't appeared, Tang Yan would have been sent to the Hong Kong entertainment circle to become a "Crystal Girl" shortly after signing the contract, where she was abused by Wang Jing, Zeng Zhiwei, and others, without making any waves.

Finally, she returned to mainland China and played the third female lead in "Chinese Paladin 3," after which her career gradually began to improve.

It can only be said that the entertainment industry is a ecosystem where the big fish eat the small fish.

In Wu Kebo's view, signing Tang Yan and promising her the title of Chengtian's top star was enough to entice her.

Shen Gongbao then asked, "What is the penalty for breach of contract with Chengtian's artist agreement?"

Tang Yan stammered, "Uh, I didn't know that. I really haven't noticed. I'm sorry."

Shenyang Announcement:

Shen Gongbao was truly astonished by Tang Yan. She didn't even know how much the penalty for breach of contract was, yet she still signed the contract.

But thinking about it carefully, it makes sense.

For Tang Yan at this time, joining Chengtian was a rare opportunity for development. She had no leverage to negotiate, so she could only sign the contract with her eyes closed.

Shen Gongbao punished Tang Yan again, and then said, "Find some time to show me the contract, and I will help you get out of Chengtian."

The ship that is Chengtian is already sinking, and only you, a fool, still believe Wu Kebo's empty promises.

"Look at Wang Jinhua and her artists, aren't they all preparing to leave Chengtian?"

Just like Huayi in the past, Chengtian's artists are divided into two factions:

One faction consisted of Wang Jinhua and her artists, while the other faction consisted of artists signed by Chengtian herself.

Tang Yan is an artist directly signed by Chengtian, and has nothing to do with Wang Jinhua.

However, Tang Yan had noticed the recent actions of Wang Jinhua and others.

She knew that Wang Jinhua and Wu Kebo were having a conflict.

Tang Yan hadn't thought Cheng Tian would run into problems before; she only thought it was a good thing—Wang Jinhua's artists leaving gave her an opportunity to develop.

Now that Shen Gongbao said it, she realized it made sense.

All of Chengtian's well-known artists are under Wang Jinhua's management. If Wang Jinhua leaves, what will Chengtian have left?

Shen Gongbao continued, "You have a future if you cooperate with me now. I just gave you a makeover last night and stirred up some rumors to make you popular."

"And I took a picture of you just now, you know what I mean."

Shen Gongbao will not rely solely on the bond between pets; he will use both soft and hard tactics to win Tang Yan over.

Upon hearing Shen Gongbao's threat, Tang Yan, amidst her panic and fear, inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief.

Having no choice can also be a form of relaxation.

It's like all the pressure of making choices has been transferred to Shen Gongbao, and Tang Yan can just follow along.

Unexpectedly, Shen Gongbao slapped Tang Yan again and scolded, "Get on your guard! You're not allowed to relax now!"

Tang Yan immediately did as instructed, and the room instantly became lively.

That noon, Shen Gongbao saw Tang Yan's contract, which stipulated a penalty of 500 million yuan for breach of contract.

This is considered fairly normal in current new player contracts.

Of course, if a contract dispute really occurs, artists usually won't have to pay that much in compensation: Lin Gengxin terminated his contract with Tang Ren in 2012, and the court eventually ordered him to pay 195 million yuan, while Jiang Jinfu paid 200 million yuan.

This is the price several years from now.

Shen Gongbao analyzed the situation with Tang Yan again and said, "Even if you want to terminate the contract, I can guarantee you a safe haven."

Moreover, if our cooperation goes smoothly, Chengtian will run into big problems, and you won't need to worry about your contract issues.

Tang Yan touched the redness and swelling on her leg, and the pain made her realize that it was real.

She said truthfully, "I'll listen to you, but I'm afraid I might not do it well and delay your plans."

Facing Shen Gongbao, Tang Yan was much more candid, directly expressing her concerns.

This also shows that she began to develop a sense of dependence on Shen Gongbao.

Shen Gongbao said with a smile, "It's okay, I won't give you any complicated tasks."

Under my arrangement, you stole the spotlight yesterday and even had a scandal with me. In Wu Kebo's view, this means that his honey trap has made progress.

"Keep things calm over there for now. I'll give you some information later; just do as I say."

After winning over Tang Yan, Shen Gongbao had a more comprehensive plan to cause trouble.

Instead of returning to the film crew, he took Tang Yan to Tiansi City, opened a "Hong Kong Stock Connect" account at the Bank of China there, and spent two days sightseeing in Tiansi.

The paparazzi photographed the two having dinner and going on a date together, and the rumors began to escalate.

Wu Kebo also felt that Tang Yan's honey trap was progressing very smoothly.

Although Shen Gongbao is a newcomer, he is currently very popular after a series of high-profile events, including the King of Kung Fu, the Huayi Brothers signing press conference, and the Red Cliff film crew.

Although there were sporadic rumors about Shen Gongbao and Liu Yifei due to their collaboration on The King of Kung Fu and Snow Leopard Studio, there was no concrete evidence.

First, Tang Yan wore the shirt on the Huabiao Awards red carpet, and then the two were photographed on a sweet date the next day. This was quite a scandalous affair, which immediately attracted a lot of attention.

Furthermore, Snow Leopard Studio, Chengtian Entertainment, and the Hong Kong entertainment circle all wanted to hype up this rumor.

With the combined hype from various parties, the "Shen-Tang romance" quickly became the hottest topic in the entertainment industry.

Many media outlets and netizens have already given Shen Gongbao and Tang Yan nicknames for each other.

Ultimately, the term "sugar-coated abalone" gained the most recognition and began to be frequently used.

Tang Yan also experienced the thrill of becoming famous; riding on the coattails of a big star's popularity is truly exhilarating.

Having benefited from her career and with Shen Gongbao's private tutelage, Tang Yan was completely under his control and obeyed him almost without question.

On the morning of August 30th, after doing his morning exercises, Shen Gongbao opened his laptop and said to Tang Yan, "I will give you a USB drive containing fabricated dirt on you."

Give this to Wu Kebo today, and tell him you secretly took it from my phone.

Tang Yan curiously opened the USB drive and found more than a dozen photos inside, including intimate photos of Shen Gongbao and her, as well as photos of Shen Gongbao hugging and cuddling with Liu Yifei and Jing Tian.

Although the details were not explicit, they were enough to prove that Shen Gongbao had intimate relationships with these three women that went beyond the boundaries of friendship.

Tang Yan immediately shook her head and said, "No, no, if these photos get out, you'll definitely be in trouble!"

The USB drive and the photos contained a Trojan program implanted by Shen Gongbao, similar to the currently popular Grey Pigeon Trojan.

This Trojan disguises itself as a file manager and cannot be detected by professional antivirus software; it was specially prepared by Shen Gongbao.

Once Tang Yan gives the USB drive to Wu Kebo, Shen Gongbao will be able to remotely and secretly control Wu Kebo's computer for easier subsequent operations.

After all, if they want to manipulate Wu Kebo, they'll definitely have to provide some dirt on him.

Fishing without baiting doesn't result in many catches.

This kind of philandering scandal is within a controllable range. Even if it does spread, it will damage Shen Gongbao's image to some extent, but not significantly.

Shen Gongbao's current fan base is mostly made up of people who enjoy entertainment and those who follow him, with a small number of female fans.

The main problem is that he has relatively few works, so female fans haven't developed a strong "character filter."

As Shen Gongbao's circle of women grows larger, his philandering will inevitably be exposed sooner or later.

The sooner this is exposed, the better; the longer it's delayed, the greater the damage.

Moreover, Shen Gongbao had embedded a Trojan horse program in the photos. If Wu Kebo had been careful enough and hadn't spread the photos indiscriminately, Shen Gongbao could have deleted them completely, and they might not have been disseminated at all.

Tang Yan didn't understand Shen Gongbao's plan, and Shen Gongbao didn't explain much to her either.

This woman isn't very shrewd; explaining things to her too clearly risks exposing the plan, so it's really unnecessary.

Therefore, Shen Gongbao said, "Don't have your own ideas, just do as I tell you."

Hearing this, Tang Yan nodded obediently. Although she was still a little worried, her pressure had indeed lessened considerably.

After everyone had breakfast together, Shen Gongbao went home first, while Tang Yan went to Chengtian Company.

In the president's office, Wu Kebo looked at Tang Yan in surprise.

It's only been two or three days since I last saw her, but this girl has changed a lot. She's wearing a black choker around her neck, and while she looks mature and sophisticated, she also has a touch of flirtatious charm.

In particular, there were some scars visible on Tang Yan's arms and legs.

Clearly, this is the work of Shen Gongbao.

Seeing this, Wu Kebo cursed Shen Gongbao in his heart.

Tang Yan had only recently signed with Chengtian, and then Chengtian ran into a series of problems, so Wu Kebo wasn't in the mood to try anything new. He hadn't even had a chance to experience the business himself.

It looks like Shen Gongbao is about to ruin things.

Wu Kebo couldn't hold back any longer and cursed, "That little bastard Shen Gongbao is inhuman! He hurt you like this!"

This is the detail that Shen Gongbao gave to Tang Yan, deliberately showing some scars.

To a normal person, Tang Yan was being abused by Shen Gongbao and suffered immense injustice.

No one would have expected Tang Yan to have special attributes.

After seeing the wounds, Wu Kebo became even more convinced that Tang Yan hated Shen Gongbao and would not be at risk of betraying him.

Tang Yan sighed, not replying, but simply said, "This is the dirt I've collected. Take a look."

Wu Kebo had no doubts and took the USB drive, plugging it into his personal computer.

This computer not only has professional protection but also various encryption programs; it is where Wu Kebo stores his confidential information.
