Peninsula: 72 Hours of Blind Dates

Chapter 168 Family members, does anyone understand?

None of my family members understand.

When you open your eyes, you can see your older sister, your mother, a family member, or your father, but not your boyfriend.

Wu Haiyuan slept face down.

There was a blanket under her.

When she heard someone call her name, she twisted her body and made "mmm" sounds.

Something is very, very wrong.

Snickering laughter.

If it were a mother or father, they certainly wouldn't chuckle; instead, they would try to wake themselves up in another way.

But that snickering sound.

Wu Haiyuan, who was still lazing in bed a second ago, suddenly opened his eyes.

She doesn't believe it.

Actually, she didn't want to believe it. She slowly turned her head.

The viewpoint is low, then it's pulled upwards.

No need to look anymore.

Destroy this world.

Those long legs, longer than my life, couldn't possibly belong to my parents.

Han Xijun

Wu Haiyuan was 100% certain that the person standing by the bedside, secretly laughing, was Han Xijun.

How did he get in?

I shouldn't be thinking such a stupid question. It must have been my parents who opened the door for him to come in.

Thinking back carefully, I think I just called for 500 yuan.

My parents would never call me by the nickname "Five Hundred Yuan".

Thankfully, he was wearing pajamas. Realizing his current sleeping position, Wu Haiyuan broke down once again.

She was wearing pajamas and pajama bottoms.

But she was lying face down, her legs spread wide and stretched straight, in a messy sleeping position, revealing the lines of her entire back, especially her buttocks...

With his head buried in the pillow, Wu Haiyuan cried out sadly, "Could you please leave first?"

Standing by the bed, Han Xijun said, "You're awake."

While holding up her phone, she silently tapped the small circle to take a picture.

After taking the photos, Han Xijun put away his phone and said, "I'll wait for you outside."

Wu Haiyuan had no idea he was being photographed.

Hearing the door close, Wu Haiyuan slowly turned over and squinted at the doorway.

Once he realized Han Xijun wasn't in his room, Wu Haiyuan spread his arms wide, staring blankly at the ceiling.

Why is God treating me like this? Why can't I be the beautiful, perfect Wu Haiyuan in front of Han Xijun?

Terrible.

He sat up halfway.

Wu Haiyuan, who had been hanging his head, suddenly had a flash of inspiration.

Two minutes later, Wu Haiyuan walked out of the room.

After a quick wash, I went to the dining room.

I saw Han Hee-joon sitting and chatting with his father.

Wu Haiyuan showed no surprise whatsoever, first greeting, "Good morning, Dad."

Then she waved to Han Xijun and said, "You're here so early."

Han Xijun was stunned for a moment.

It wasn't because Wu Haiyuan was pretending that he had just found out he was there.

Was it because Wu Haiyuan's pajamas were different from what he had seen her in a few minutes ago? Had she changed her pajamas? Han Xijun thought of something and suppressed a laugh.

Isn't this a classic case of burying one's head in the sand?

If you cover your ears and shake a bell, you won't hear the sound yourself, so others certainly won't understand it.

Wu Haiyuan's father asked in confusion, "Didn't Xijun wake you up? It's like you woke up on your own."

"Him? Was it him who called?"

"No, she got up by herself, I just looked from the doorway."

Wu Haiyuan's father said, "No one but her sister can wake her up in one go; she likes to stay in bed."

Wu Haiyuan did not refute.

She wasn't the first member to get up in the dorm either. Although she was the leader of the nmixx group and should have set a good example, Wu Haiyuan just liked to stay in bed and there was nothing she could do about it.

Footsteps came from the kitchen.

The rich aroma of soybean paste soup wafts up.

Wu Haiyuan greeted, "Good morning, Mom." His mother, clearly not as accommodating as his father, retorted, "Be normal. Since when have you ever spoken to us in such a high-pitched voice when you get up at home?"

"Mother"

For a moment, the mother forgot that Han Xijun was at home. Realizing this, she quickly corrected herself, saying, "Our Haiyuan is so beautiful as soon as she woke up. Whose daughter is she?"

"Of course she's Mom's daughter."

"Call your dad and Hee-joon for dinner."

Without Wu Haiyuan needing to relay a single word, Han Xijun overheard everything Wu Haiyuan's mother said from the living room.

Get up.

Wu Haiyuan's father said to Han Xijun, "It happens occasionally, just think of it as watching a stage play."

Han Xijun smiled and nodded.

He genuinely felt that the atmosphere at home was wonderful, making him feel happy from the very beginning of the day.

It's a completely different world compared to my previous life.

Han Xijun used to think his lifestyle was great—quiet, giving him ample time to think, and he never had to worry about being disturbed by anything. When he was hungry, there was always food, drinks, and fruit readily available. During university, although life changed somewhat, requiring Han Xijun to spend time buying food, fruit, and drinks, he still maintained his own world.

I'm starting to wonder why I enjoy immersing myself in my own personal world.

Thinking about it, I realize I've missed out on a lot of wonderful times in college.

No wonder last time...

"Splash!"

Pull out the chair.

Wu Haiyuan sat down directly next to Han Xijun.

There's nothing wrong with that.

But Wu Haiyuan's parents still took a special look at Wu Haiyuan and Han Xijun.

It feels much more natural than the day before yesterday.

When Han Xijun came to the house alone the day before yesterday, he was still a little reserved. When Wu Haiyuan ate out that night, he initially wanted to sit next to his mother.

Today, he pulled out a chair and sat down next to Han Xijun. Han Xijun didn't stand on ceremony either, pulling out his chair and waiting for the elders to start eating. Wu Haiyuan's father picked up a spoon and took a sip of soybean paste soup, and breakfast officially began.

It is a custom in Han Xijun's area not to talk while eating or sleeping.

Wu Haiyuan's family, especially Wu Haiyuan's mother, is used to chatting with her family at the dining table.

It may be due to the past practice of female divers (haenyeo), who typically set off for the sea before dawn and finished their work in the morning.

When I got home, I made breakfast and was able to share some of my experiences at sea with my family.

Over time, chatting at the breakfast table became a habit.

Wu Haiyuan's mother said, "We went to Seoul this time, and we don't know when we'll be back in Incheon next time."

Han Xijun and Wu Haiyuan didn't know who they were asking, so they responded almost simultaneously.

Wu Haiyuan said, "You go first, Mom will definitely ask you."

As soon as she finished speaking, Wu Haiyuan's mother said, "I was asking about Xijun."

Just know.

Anyway, in her own home, Han Xijun was treated like a son. But it didn't matter, she was treated like a daughter in Han Xijun's home, so it evened things out.

I am not jealous, envious, or envious.

Let Mom ask; she'll probably include her own side of the story anyway.

We ate and chatted for about twenty minutes.

After finishing their meal, they also took their own food with them.

Wu Haiyuan took the initiative to do the dishwashing chores, and after Han Xijun helped tidy up the dining table, he also went to the kitchen and stood with Wu Haiyuan to wash the dishes.

In front of the refrigerator, Wu Haiyuan's mother kept taking things out, while Wu Haiyuan's father assisted her. They were packing some side dishes that they had prepared yesterday for Wu Haiyuan and Han Xijun to take to Seoul.
