My girlfriend is from 1949

Late night

Inside the National Security Bureau headquarters, Zhou Liming stood ramrod straight in his office, looking flustered.

Having worked at the National Security Bureau for twenty years, this is my first time here.

Time ticked by, and his expression grew increasingly tense.

Ta-da~

As footsteps approached, two leaders walked in.

Zhou Liming's body stiffened, and he immediately raised his hand in salute.

Of the two people who came in, one was his direct superior, the director of the Shanghai bureau.

On the other shoulder is a national emblem.

I've only ever seen it on TV or in internal documents.

To my surprise, I was actually received by this high-ranking leader today!

He swallowed hard, his tense face full of anxiety.

Even though Zhou Liming boasted that he had experienced many trials and tribulations and had escaped death countless times.

However, when facing this high-ranking leader, he was still speechless due to the imposing aura emanating from him.

The leader smiled kindly and waved, "Relax, don't be nervous, sit down and let's talk."

"yes!"

Zhou Liming responded loudly and sat down on the sofa with a standard posture.

He sat upright, but only occupied about a third of the seat.

If your boss tells you to relax, it would be naive to actually relax and loung on the sofa with your legs crossed.

However, Zhou Liming was no fool to have risen to the level of a division chief in his early forties.

Concentrate and wait for instructions from your superiors.

quickly

The leader took a sip of tea, smiled, and said, "First of all, the Central Committee has given high praise to the work of your department..."

Before he could finish speaking, Zhou Liming suddenly stood up as if he had springs in his body.

He stood ramrod straight, as if listening attentively to a leader's instructions.

His arms trembled slightly as he hung down, and his eyes were filled with excitement.

Being praised and recognized by a top leader makes even the most difficult work worthwhile!

The leader smiled and waved his hand, gesturing for the person to sit down and talk.

After praising the work, we got down to business.

"From now on, you three don't need to worry about any other cases. Just focus on Chen Huai'an and Lin Wan's case!"

In terms of security, the internal security force has dispatched a squad to assist you in completing this task.

Their work will also be directed by you.

The Central Committee held a meeting and decided to respect Chen Huai'an's cooperation methods.

They collaborated with a trading company and Li Hao, who was nominally a third party.

All future arms sales will be conducted through private transactions.

As long as national security is not threatened, give them the greatest possible freedom to develop.

In addition, all company management personnel have been assigned to their posts.

They would conduct business with private enterprises in the name of the company.

The central government strongly supports this approach of stimulating domestic demand.

... "

The leader relayed the entire decision from the Central Committee.

Overall, it proceeded according to Chen Huai'an's ideas.

He's unwilling to cooperate directly with the state; if he wants that blackout cloth, then let's keep it.

From now on, all arms transactions will be conducted through Li Hao's military surplus store.

Of course, that was just a nominal position.

All arms shipments and money transfers were conducted with the "Red Flag Trading Company".

This ensured that, nominally, things remained the same as before.

In fact, for a country, as long as it can truly obtain win-win benefits, that's enough.

After all, Chen Huai'an's actions have already proven his value.

In just a few months, they have been sourcing large quantities of goods from the private market.

It not only saved the factory from bankruptcy, but also created many new jobs.

Imported canned fruit benefits more than just one cannery.

All related industrial chains will increase production capacity due to his huge purchase volume.

Fruit orchards have thus seen increased sales.

Paper mills, printing plants, and other businesses all profited from Chen Huai'an's orders.

Wang Defa's small shipyard also began to develop from making plastic boats to building cargo ships of thousands of tons.

The materials required also drive the entire industrial chain.

After all, the other side is a world with 2.5 billion people, and boosting China's trade is a piece of cake.

It can be said that it was a huge market unique to China, and an opportunity for the economy to take off again.

It is also key to breaking free from international blockade and suppression and no longer being held hostage by energy.

Therefore, no matter what demands Chen Huai'an makes, as long as it is not treason, the central government will agree!

Zhou Liming, who discovered and facilitated all of this, naturally deserves great credit.

The year-end bonus is a sure thing.

Although he was asked to put aside all other work and only take care of Chen Huai'an and Lin Wan.

It sounds like their power has been reduced and their work has become simpler.

But Zhou Liming knew very well that this was not a reduction in power, but rather an increase in power and a heavier workload!

Previously, it was the entire National Security Bureau that was responsible for preventing espionage from abroad.

Now there are three separate locations, each tasked with independently guarding against spies spying on their work.

Moreover, because the business covers such a wide range of areas, it involves almost the entire industry!

So work hasn't become simpler, it's become more complicated.

Relying solely on three locations will not be sufficient to cope with the future.

The establishment of a completely new department, or its independent operation, has become inevitable.

However, this is just the beginning, and many things require a preparation process.

In his nervous state, Zhou Liming jotted down all of his superior's instructions.

This included the sale of this batch of weapons.

Why wouldn't you pass up this opportunity to clear out inventory?

Although a significant portion has been exported to African countries, there is still a large inventory.

Especially now that the BZ191 rifle has been unveiled, it is being gradually deployed to the troops.

The Type 56 rifles haven't even been cleared out yet, and it's time to find buyers for the obsolete Type 95 rifles!

Both the Type 56 assault rifle and the Qianwei-1 man-portable air defense missile were supplied in the required quantities.

The bullet production line was also sold.

As a gift, they also gave away twenty radars that had been phased out as early as the 90s.

With these radars, coupled with the Qianwei-1 man-portable air defense missile, the enemy's fate was essentially sealed.

Even without fighter jets, the new China was able to safeguard the security of the skies.

We'll wait until we get back a batch of bombers from our Soviet big brother.

In the future, during the Korean War, the UN forces will be able to experience firsthand the devastation of their transport convoys being bombed without air superiority.

If logistics can't keep up, the UN forces won't be able to eat meat, let alone compressed biscuits!

I wonder if their teeth are strong enough to bite through potatoes that have been frozen solid.

American soldiers, could you please drive in the dark without your lights on?

I wonder if they still have the strength to fight if their logistics can't keep up.

We can only hope that by then, the US and its allies will also have an iron will!

Zhou Liming stayed until late at night before heading to the military airport with the bureau chief.

Then they took a transport plane and returned to Shanghai overnight.

When Zhou Liming arrived, he only brought a briefcase.

When they returned, they found themselves carrying a black briefcase with a combination lock!

The documents in this box are a gift from modern times to the new China!
