Chapter 233 Return Voyage, Meeting and the First
As the evening approached six o'clock, the afterglow of the setting sun dyed the sea surface a golden yellow. The J-16D fighter jets, which had swept across the entire electronic battlefield of the East China Sea, began their return flight under the escort of two formations of fighter jets.
Around 11 a.m. local time in Europe, the sidewalk outside the venue of the Global New Energy Industry Summit was filled with reporters and cameramen from various countries. Tripods were lined up, and camera lenses were all pointed at the venue entrance, waiting for the final meeting results to be determined.
"Hello everyone, we are now at the Europa Global New Energy and Environmental Protection Industry Seven-Day Summit."
This is the first global summit on the new energy and environmental protection industry in several years, aiming to promote solutions to the development issues of the global environmental protection and new energy industry.
At this summit, countries will once again consult and discuss the direction and leadership of new energy and environmental protection industries such as lithium batteries, energy storage, wind power, photovoltaics, and low-emission electric vehicles in areas such as global trade, technical standards, industrial development, and market promotion, based on the development of the global new energy and environmental protection industry.
According to the meeting schedule, today is the last day of the meeting, and the overall meeting results will be determined by this afternoon.
Generally, a relatively definitive message will be available after the morning meeting concludes...
Here, we remotely contacted Professor Chen, a leader in China's new energy industry, to inquire about his predictions regarding the outcome and subsequent impact of this industry summit…
The reporter on channel one stood in front of the venue with a microphone, introducing the progress of today's meeting to the camera, while also inviting experts to connect online to analyze the impact of this summit.
While journalists from various countries were out filming or broadcasting live analysis of the results.
Inside the main conference room, representatives from various countries sat on both sides of a long, dark brown conference table. High-level representatives from various countries took turns speaking, expressing their market, policy promotion, and contributions to the new energy industry.
However, careful observation reveals that, with the exception of a very few representatives, most of the representatives' remarks were directed at the older Chinese representatives on the other side of the meeting room, focusing on the latest breakthrough in lithium battery technology and indirectly belittling its importance to industrial development.
The Chinese and Lao representatives remained calm in the face of these attacks. They sat in their seats, their eyes scanning the documents spread out in front of them, and their expressions were composed as they looked at the time on their watches.
Just then, it seemed the time had come, and the conference room door opened.
A domestic assistant walked in, ignoring the surprised looks from others, and quickly went to the old Chinese representative and whispered a few words in his ear.
"That's fine."
The Chinese representative nodded, whether in response to his assistant or to the other representatives present, it was unclear.
After saying that, he stood up, slammed his hands on the table, and glanced at all the representatives present: "What you just said is very good, but I have a different opinion."
I think this meeting needs to be postponed for another day so that everyone can think it over again and come up with a better global solution.
"Postponing it by one day won't change everyone's opinion."
At this point, the representative of Xiao Rizi stood up and retorted, "Now it's global industrial trade. You can't do anything with just one technology without the support of industries and markets in various countries."
boom--
Before the Lao-Chinese representative could reply, the conference room door was kicked open again, hitting the wall with a thud. Several assistants rushed to the ears of the four rogue representatives—Lao Mei, Da Mao, and France—and whispered something.
What!
In an instant, apart from a hint of surprise in the eyes of the Russian representative, who then chuckled softly.
The other three rogue representatives stood up, their eyes wide with shock, looking incredulously at the calm-faced old Chinese representative.
"It seems everyone agrees."
The Chinese representative, observing the expressions of the group, slowly fastened the metal cufflink on his left sleeve with his right hand and said calmly, "Tomorrow, I will come back here to discuss with you all the future development direction of the industry, a direction in which we can all cooperate and achieve a win-win situation."
Done.
The Lao-Chinese representative ignored the reactions of everyone present and turned to leave the meeting room.
But after taking a few steps, he seemed to remember something, turned back to look at the representative of the daily life who was still unaware of what had happened and looked at him with a look of surprise and uncertainty, and nodded to give an evaluation.
"Your self-introduction was quite good. In the context of globalized industrial trade, your company can't really do much with just hydrogen energy technology."

[Report to the hive! The Howling Wolf has successfully returned and landed...]
"Received. Rest for the night. No problems found. Return as planned tomorrow."
Lin Dong turned on his microphone and replied.
After saying that, he watched as the plane landed back at the airport, with 400 kilometers of fuel remaining, and shook his head.
"Without aerial refueling, the J-16D's sustained combat capability is significantly reduced; it was almost out of fuel after only two hours of operation."
Although the J-16, a super-large platform known as the "airborne bomb truck," has been modified into an electronic warfare aircraft, the J-16D can achieve a combat range of 3000 kilometers even when fully loaded with pods, which is almost double the range of less than 2,000 kilometers when fully loaded with pods.
However, without aerial refueling, the J-16D's sustained combat capability cannot be fully realized.
After all, compared to the Roarer, which uses air cooling and distributed power supply and can only operate at maximum power for a short time before overheating and reducing performance.
The J-16D adopts a complete liquid cooling and centralized power supply scheme. The core area also adopts a direct-contact refrigerant design, so as long as there is fuel, it can fight for three days and three nights without any problem.
This makes fuel consumption the biggest weakness of the J-16D.
However, China's aerial refueling aircraft are currently in an awkward situation, as the H-6 tanker, an improved version of the H-6 bomber, is incompatible with the refueling interface of the J-16D fighter jet.
Furthermore, the H-6 tanker can only deliver 18.5 tons of fuel to other aircraft, which is insufficient for the J-16D fighter jet's 11-ton fuel capacity.
As for the Il-78 aerial refueling aircraft that we are familiar with in later generations, we are still in talks with Russia and it has not yet been officially introduced.
The Y-20 aerial refueling tanker is a project that was developed from the Y-20 prototype, which only made its maiden flight at the end of last year. It is expected that the Y-20 will be upgraded to an aerial refueling tanker in 2019.
"It took the US decades to develop all the equipment and complete its global layout. It's too difficult for China to catch up in a few years or ten years."
Lin Dong sighed and withdrew from the remote monitoring of the J-16D.
Although he knew that aerial refueling aircraft was a weakness, Lin Dong had no intention of getting involved.
After all, the J-16D's current range is sufficient to meet current strategic needs, so while this large aerial refueling tanker is important, it is not yet urgent.
"Headquarters responded that the Europa New Energy Industry Conference will be postponed for another day..."
At this moment, Wang Xingguo walked over with his secure phone and looked at Lin Dong with delight, saying, "Although the final result is not yet determined, it will definitely be better than before."
"If it weren't even better, wouldn't today's exposure of the J-16D have been a waste?" Lin Dong replied with a smile.
He already knew the reason behind the headquarters' request to go to sea on Tuesday and this electronic warfare confrontation during the test flight a couple of days ago.
If the first public appearance of the J-16D can lead to a successful industrial negotiation, then this battle will not have been a loss.
"That's true."
Wang Xingguo smiled and said, "If all else fails, we'll do it ourselves. Our own market is big enough. Once our industry is mature, we can expand overseas."
I looked at the solutions for new energy vehicles. Fully electronic systems have faster response times and are better suited for both safety and future intelligent driving. This is a game-changer for gasoline vehicles.
Ever since Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group (CAC) developed lithium battery technology, he, as the 001st officer of CAC, has inevitably been asked about this topic whenever he goes to meetings.
To this end, he also specifically studied issues related to the new energy industry.
"It would be best to have a global presence from the outset." Lin Dong shook his head noncommittally.
The path Wang Xingguo described can be considered the development path of the new energy industry in the previous life.
In the past, whether it was energy storage, photovoltaics, or new energy vehicles, they were all first rolled out domestically before gradually expanding overseas.
But now the economic model has changed, and the two massive expenditures of industrial upgrading and military upgrading are all pinned on the new energy industry and the subsequent AI industry.
If we can go global earlier and enter foreign markets to make profits sooner, we can avoid the domestic market from spinning its top too much.
In addition, the new energy industry has many upstream and downstream raw materials and parts, and it still cannot do without the supply of the global industrial chain.
If this global industry agreement can be negotiated, then we can secure the major benefits.
In that case, the situation in the previous life, where the new energy industry was besieged and blocked when it went overseas, with upstream raw materials being held back and downstream products being accused and demanded to hand over technology, would have been better.
Although, given the nature of foreign countries, this global industry agreement will ultimately become worthless; they will find a reason to tear it up as soon as their interests are harmed.
But before Trump comes to power, the outside world still needs to save face, so this agreement can be maintained for a few years before it has to be used to clean up the mess.
And coincidentally, China is currently lacking these few years...
"Then let's wait for tomorrow's results. I'll let you know when I have news."
Wang Xingguo nodded in agreement, glanced at the time, and without pausing, turned and left from next door.
"I'm going back."
After Lin Dong and Wang Xingguo finished talking, Lin Weiliang replied to a few emails from the National University of Defense Technology before shutting down his computer and getting up to say, "Your mother has already cooked dinner."
"it is good."
Lin Dong nodded, turned off the lock screen, and got up to go back with Lin Weiliang.
"You did a good job today."
The father and son walked to the laboratory door and were about to push it open when...
Suddenly, Lin Weiliang seemed to remember something, turned his head to look at Lin Dong, and unconsciously revealed a hint of pride in his eyes as he spoke.
"This is the first time in decades that we have engaged in a direct air battle and driven the enemy back with an absolute victory."
"No way."
Lin Dong stared wide-eyed in astonishment: "Dad, were you guys so bad before? You never even won a single game with that equipment?"
???
Lin Weiliang was taken aback for a moment, then widened his eyes and said irritably, "You little brat, do you think that just because you're all grown up, I won't dare to mess with you anymore...?"
"Dad, it's illegal for guardians to intimidate and abuse minors..."
"You little brat!"
Lin Weiliang was amused and chuckled. He patted Lin Dong on the shoulder, put his arm around Lin Dong's shoulder, pushed open the door, and walked home in the sunset: "...You only act a little childish when you're deliberately trying to annoy your father. Otherwise, you're always looking for trouble for no reason."
"How can this be called making trouble out of nothing? If I hadn't made trouble for you, Dad, you would still be a junior researcher, and you wouldn't even be able to become a director."
Lin Dong shook his head and complained, "If I were with Qingling, you wouldn't dare to speak confidently in front of Uncle Xu..."
"Nonsense, when have I ever been weak in front of Xu Ziming!"
"Then when he gets back, let's have a get-together between our two families. You can invite him for drinks?"
"Well... forget it, we can't win against him."
