The key challenge is ensuring that the shock wave travels in the designed direction, rather than rebounding into the air intake and destroying the engine. This is crucial for engine stability.

Fortunately, the JF-12 hypersonic shock tunnel project team had already achieved precise control of detonation, and by referring to their solution, this problem was also solved.

The fourth is the dead zone of air intake matching. When the flight speed changes, the pressure and temperature of the air intake will also change, causing the detonation wave to shift in position in the combustion chamber, which in turn leads to uncontrolled detonation combustion, causing engine surge or even shutdown.

This problem arises because the detonation control model needs to be transformed from a static model into a dynamic one.

The amount of data in the entire model has increased by more than a thousand times. Traditional solutions simply cannot process such a massive amount of data in a timely manner and simultaneously adjust the engine's response.

Ultimately, Lin Dong had to rely on the big data processing capabilities of AI models to transform the traditional control model into an AI intelligent control model. After more than twenty such experiments, he finally completed the dynamic flight detonation test.
