Everyone's attention was focused on the five members of the Sword and Fairy team on the other side.

Deng Chao pulled his hands out of his pockets.

Two tearing sounds, almost simultaneously, rang out in the quiet hall.

Everyone froze in their tracks.

Baby felt a chill down her back and turned her head sharply.

Chen He sprang up, reached behind him, and found nothing.

Deng Chao stood still, clutching Baby's name tag in his left hand and Chen He's name tag in his right.

Two stickers with white backgrounds and black lettering were particularly glaring in the lantern light.

The loudspeaker came on.

"Baby, out!"

"Chen He, out!"

The sound echoed among the upturned eaves and corners, spreading throughout the entire Zhuque Tower.

Baby froze on the spot, her mouth agape, unable to utter a single word.

Chen He's expression was as if he had been doused with a bucket of ice water.

He slowly turned around, looked at his name tag in Deng Chao's hand, and then looked at Deng Chao's face.

"Deng Chao...Brother Chao?"

Deng did not answer.

He stuffed the two name tags into his pocket, then looked up and scanned everyone around him.

On the Running Man team's side, Li Chen clenched his fists.

Zheng Kai's mouth was open and he couldn't close it.

Wang Baoqiang scratched the back of his head, looking like he didn't understand.

Shen Teng leaned against the pillar, and the smile finally disappeared from his face.

The two people were led out of the hall by the men in black, one on each side.

Li Chen stretched his neck, his gaze fixed on Deng Chao.

Shen Teng rolled up his sleeves a bit and a smile returned to his face.

But that smile was different from usual.

Zheng Kai had already lowered his center of gravity, his toes barely touching the ground, ready to rush out at any moment.

Deng Chao stood in the middle of the Immortal Sword team, feeling the five piercing gazes behind him, and sweat poured down his back.

He swallowed hard and forced a smile at the Running Man cast.

"Um... can we talk first?"

Li Chen's answer consisted of only two words.

"Tear him apart."

Eliminated players' rest area.

It was called a rest area, but it was actually just a side room on the far west side of the Zhuque Tower, with two staff members in black standing at the door.

There were a few chairs and a coffee table in the room, with a pot of iced tea and several packets of snacks on the coffee table.

Yang Mi nestled in a chair in the corner, resting her chin on her hands, staring blankly at the doorway.

She couldn't hide her excitement as she rushed to the door and grabbed Baby's hand.

"Who tore you apart?"

Baby opened her mouth, but hesitated to speak.

Chen He completely collapsed.

"Deng Chao!"

He plopped down in the chair, grabbed his hair with both hands, and his voice cracked.

"It was Deng Xiaoping!!!"

Yang Mi paused for a second.

"Wait... Deng Chao? Deng Chao from your own team?"

"He's an undercover agent!"

Chen He's chin nearly hit his knees. "He's a mole in the Legend of Sword and Fairy team! He tore one apart right in front of me, Baby in his left hand and me in his right, clean and efficient!"

"I consider him my own brother!"

Yang Mi's eyes widened even more.

Then she smiled.

He laughed so hard he squatted on the ground, laughing until tears almost streamed down his face.

"Hahahaha! Deng Chao was an undercover agent too?!"

Baby covered her face, her voice leaking through her fingers, sounding both aggrieved and helpless.

"He was standing behind me, I didn't even have time to react..."

Yang Mi wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes, stood up, put her arm around Baby with one hand and patted Chen He's shoulder with the other.

"Come, come, sit down, sit down. The Victims' Alliance welcomes you to join."

She cleared her throat.

"The alliance's motto is... After the show is finished, we'll make those two undercover agents treat us to a meal as an apology, not a single meal less."

Chen He immediately raised his hand.

"I want to eat at Haidilao."

Baby also raised her hand.

"I want the dessert buffet."

Yang Mi made the decision.

"Okay, Hu Ge will treat us to one meal, Deng Chao will treat us to one meal, enough for two days."

The three of them huddled in the rest area, each recounting how they had been torn apart.

On the Running Man team's side, Brother Hu has already stood next to Li Chen.
