Full-Time Mage: One random forbidden spell per month

Chapter 40 Compression Magic! Experimenting New Magic on Mo Fan's Undead Soldiers

The Blue Campus, the Magic Arena.

"You dare use my undead as practice? How could you even think of that?"

Mo Fan looked at Li Xingze across from him and couldn't help but complain.

Previously, Li Xingze won a "Compression Magic" in a lottery. After a month of exploration, he has made some initial progress in the lightning element.

"Stop saying that. I'm just testing your undead strength."

As Li Xingze spoke, he gathered lightning in his right palm.

"Thunder Seal? No, it's not as simple as Thunder Seal."

Mo Fan was also a lightning mage and knew that the Lightning Seal was an external attack that relied on range and power to win.

But Old Li's lightning seal was directly condensed in his hand, so he wasn't afraid of the lightning getting out of control?

Normally, one only dares to attempt to create magical techniques after reaching a high level and gaining control over them.

However, after Li Xingze mastered the method of "compression magic", he has indirectly gained control, and even has more than just control.

The crackling electrical noise sounded like a thousand birds chirping at the same time.

terrible!

Looking at the highly compressed lightning in Li Xingze's hand, Mo Fan could only think of two words: This power could probably pierce through his body.

Seeing that Li Xingze was ready, Mo Fan began his necromancy summoning.

Since Mo Fan's necromancy is only at the initial stage, he summons the worst corpses and skeletons, a total of ten.

Although these rotting corpses and skeleton soldiers are the lowest-level undead, they are not afraid of death and only know how to kill. For students who have never seen the world, they are definitely a great weapon.

The skeleton soldiers were all carrying rusty swords. They were not slow, and as soon as they saw a living creature, they charged madly at Li Xingze.

The rotting corpses moved faster than the skeletons, their decaying arms serving as their weapons.

"That's a bit disgusting."

Li Xingze remained calm and composed as he faced the ten undead.

His right hand transformed into a hand blade, stabbing directly at the foremost rotting corpse. The highly compressed current pierced through its chest, and the terrifying temperature burned a huge hole in it.

Li Xingze instantly appeared in front of another rotting corpse, also thrusting out with his right hand.

In less than half a minute, Li Xingze wiped out all ten undead.

"Gurgle~"

Mo Fan swallowed hard. This guy was really getting more and more freakish.

To develop magic for close combat with the undead—that takes immense courage; probably only he could have done it.

Mo Fan also possessed lightning-type abilities, and immediately became extremely interested in this lightning-type move.

"Old Li, can you teach me this trick?" Mo Fan said shamelessly, rubbing his hands together.

"That's simple. As long as you can compress the Thunder Seal into one hand, you'll be able to do what I have," Li Xingze said without hiding anything.

"Uh~" Mo Fan rolled his eyes. If he could do that, would he need to come to you?

This step may seem easy, but it is extremely dangerous. If you are not careful, you could even ruin your entire arm.

Li Xingze doesn't plan to pass on the compression magic yet. Once Mo Fan's lightning element reaches a high level and he gains control over it, he will naturally grasp the basics of this technique.

Compared to high-level lightning magic, although its power is somewhat inferior, this move is more flexible, and its mana consumption is only comparable to that of a level three lightning seal.

Low power consumption, high power, unbeatable!

If you strengthen the Thunder Seal to level four or five, and then absorb a top-grade Soul Thunder, you might actually be able to unleash the power of a high-level magic with just one Thunder Seal!

To start with high-level magic with almost no cost—that's terrifying!

Seven servant-level spirit essences cost thirty to forty million, while seven warrior-level spirit essences cost around one hundred and forty million—no small sum.

If Li Xingze could strengthen his Thunder Seal to level six, he could easily fight opponents of higher levels.

A Commander-level Essence typically costs between 300 million and 500 million, while the lowest-level Enhancement Star is worth 300 million each. Seven Commander-level Essences would cost 2.1 billion.

As for the seventh-level lightning seal, that's an astronomical figure!

If forbidden spell scrolls were available for sale, Li Xingze would be willing to sell one or two.

"You haven't shown the full potential of your necromancy-based magic; you'll have to put in some effort."

In Li Xingze's view, Mo Fan has not yet reached the threshold of becoming a necromancer.

"There's nothing we can do; Pearl Academy doesn't have any teachers specializing in necromancy," Mo Fan said with a helpless expression.

Li Xingze frowned. He couldn't very well summon a forbidden necromancy spell to teach you, could he?

Although China and Egypt are both the founding countries of necromancy, China no longer has the lineage of necromancy, while Egypt has developed it very well.

The Necromancer and Summoner are similar, but fundamentally different. Summoners rely on summoned beasts and contracted beasts, while necromancers rely on their own strength. As long as they are strong enough, they can find undead to fight for them.

A high-level necromancer can even summon several commander-level undead, as well as countless low-level undead soldiers.

It can be said that the higher the cultivation level of the necromancy system, the more obvious its strength becomes.

"It's okay, you can always go to Egypt to study," Li Xingze said with a smile.

"Get lost, why don't you go to Egypt yourself?"

"I'm not a necromancer, and I'm not kidding you. The necromancy system in Egypt is indeed powerful."

"So what if they're strong? Do you think they'll hand it over to me without reservation?" Mo Fan said realistically.

"That's true. Besides Egypt, there are only ancient capitals," Li Xingze said.

"Ancient capital?"

"The ancient capital has the largest number of dead people in the country; you should visit it if you have the chance."

As he spoke, Li Xingze couldn't help but think of the old king, who was an uncertain factor.

If Zhan Kong and the Ancient King were to merge, China would lose a major fighting force in the future, and the ancient capital's undead would gradually decline.

This won't do; we need to find a more reliable solution.

"Let's talk about it another time," Mo Fan shrugged. "Old Li, I'll help you experiment with the new magic, you have to treat me, right?"

"Forget about treating us to a meal, let's invite Xu Zhaoting and go hunting for demons in the wild."

Li Xingze shook his head and said that there is still greater room for development in the Thousand Birds Stream, and actual combat is the fastest way to improve.

"Huh?" Mo Fan's face immediately fell, looking displeased.

The spoils from the monster hunt will be divided equally.

"Brother Ze! I'm coming right now!"

Mo Fan immediately changed his tune; this was a great opportunity to curry favor with someone powerful.

With Li Xingze's current strength, the two great generals plus his own combat power, as long as he doesn't encounter the demon's lair, he can basically sweep through everything.

Going out to hunt demons with Li Xingze not only allows you to collect fragments of souls, but the materials from demons of warrior level and above are also worth a lot of money.

Even if the three of them split it equally, it would still be a considerable sum. Combined with his savings over the past few months, his fire-type spirit seed is now secured!
