Full-Time Mage: One random forbidden spell per month

Chapter 57 Four-Element Super-Tier? Mu Ningxue Injured!

"There are so many disgusting bugs, everyone please be careful!"

Song Xia is a fire mage, and fire magic is the most effective way to deal with these bloodthirsty leeches, followed by ice magic.

Li Xingze was responsible for carrying the injured Bai Tingting on his back, while Mu Ningxue, Mu Nujiao, and Song Xia walked in front.

Upon seeing the dense swarm of bloodthirsty leeches, Qingqing and Zhao Mingyue immediately shrank behind him, showing no semblance of a mage.

He still needs more practice!

Having lived in the city for so long, the two had never seen many demons, so it was understandable that they were afraid of such a huge swarm of insects.

Even if Li Xingze understands, it doesn't mean he's willing to take these two burdens along.

"You two and Bai Tingting stay here. There are probably more dangerous things inside, so don't go over there."

As Li Xingze spoke, he put Bai Tingting down from his back.

"Then be careful," the two women said.

"These insects are quite good at hiding, so even if you stay here, don't let your guard down," Li Xingze warned.

Song Xia and Mu Ningxue had already walked some distance, but Mu Nujiao was still waiting for him ahead. Although Mu Nujiao's plant and wind skills were both mid-level, they were still a bit of a struggle to deal with this little thing.

This bloodthirsty leech is protected by a hard shell, so the only way to attack it is with mid-level magic, except by targeting its vulnerable abdomen.

Gazing at the alluring little buttocks in front of him, Li Xingze couldn't help but let some unhealthy images flash through his mind.

In that moment of distraction, a bloodthirsty leech launched itself into the air and lunged at his vital point. Its disgusting, viscous, dark green fluid made him feel nauseous.

"brush!!"

A golden bolt of lightning flashed, and the alchemical weapon "Envy" instantly pierced through the bloodthirsty leech.

Using magic energy to deal with these small fry is too wasteful; weapons are much more convenient.

Looking at the endless stream of bloodthirsty leeches surging from all sides, Li Xingze said to the three people in front who were continuously using mid-level magic:

"These little bugs are endless, so don't waste your magic energy."

Mid-level spells are indeed efficient at eliminating small minions, but if this continues, once the mana is almost depleted, it's game over.

"Help!"

"Brother Ze!"

Li Xingze frowned upon hearing the shouts from ahead. He immediately stopped concealing his wind element and instead cast a wind track on his feet to accelerate his movement.

"Wind element. He has four elements."

Mu Nujiao, Mu Ningxue, and Song Xia were all dumbfounded, their minds in complete chaos.

They were already shocked by the fact that there were already three departments, including the healing department. If three departments could be explained as high-level, what about four departments?

Super-order?

How is that possible? You couldn't find a twenty-year-old super-level mage anywhere in the world.

In other words, Li Xingze is born with dual systems?

Using the Instantaneous Movement Technique and Wind Track, Li Xingze overtook Song Xia and Mu Ningxue in the blink of an eye, arriving at a relatively open space.

This is the habitat they chose.

The tent that had been set up was now reduced to just a few scraps of cloth, and the pile of broken bones beside the campfire was a shocking sight.

Looking further ahead, Xu Zhaoting and Zheng Bingxiao were still putting up a stubborn resistance. Fortunately, the Rock Demon was made entirely of rock, so the Bloodthirsty Leech had no interest in it at all.

Besides the bloodthirsty demonic leeches that were only a finger long and blackish-gray, there were seven or eight silver-gray leeches that were over a meter long, with their hideous and terrifying mouths filled with sharp teeth.

Besides the Rock Golem tanking damage in front, Zheng Bingxiao also had a Warlord-level Rock Troll. However, this giant rock troll was incredibly strong and had amazing defense. Even the silver-gray leech had difficulty breaking through its defense.

It swiftly grabbed a silver-gray leech, then with its thick arms it ripped it in two.

These silvery-gray leeches are even more terrifying than the bloodthirsty demon leeches; they can burrow into the ground at will and then suddenly burst out from another place.

At this moment, the soil beneath Xu Zhaoting's feet began to loosen, as if something was about to burst out, but Xu Zhaoting was focused on dealing with the Bloodthirsty Demon Leech and was obviously unaware of the situation beneath his feet.

"bump!!!"

Suddenly the soil exploded, and a silver-gray leech scurried out, its target being the unprepared Xu Zhaoting.

"Be careful!"

Zheng Bingxiao had been keeping an eye on the situation, but apart from summoning, he was just a nobody and couldn't possibly help Xu Zhaoting.

Just when he thought Xu Zhaoting was about to be eaten, a bolt of lightning came from afar and approached. Before Zheng Bingxiao could react, the silver-gray leech was cut in two.

"A bug with warrior-level bloodline would be worth a lot of money if sold to a summoning or poison mage, what a pity."

Li Xingze looked at the silver-gray leech corpses on the ground, cut in half and still writhing. Although they were only at the advanced stage, their bloodline was that of a genuine warrior-level warrior.

If fed with the blood of high-blooded demons, it might be able to reach the commander level.

Xu Zhaoting was stunned when he saw Li Xingze suddenly appear, but when he saw the corpse on the ground, he immediately understood. If it weren't for Brother Ze's timely appearance, he would have definitely been killed.

"Thank you, Brother Ze," Xu Zhaoting said.

Li Xingze patted his shoulder, looked around but didn't see Mo Fan or Zhao Manyan, or even his summoned beast, the Golden Flame Dragon Lion. Moreover, he could sense that his summoned beast wasn't in good condition.

"Where are Mo Fan and Zhao Manyan?" Li Xingze asked.

Li Xingze had no interest in dealing with those bastards from the Imperial Capital University.

There was only one pile of broken bones on the ground; everyone else must have fled for their lives when disaster struck.

Xu Zhaoting's face suddenly showed a look of panic, and he pointed in a direction, his voice trembling as he said:

"Just now, an incredibly powerful leech demon emerged from the tree and chased Mo Fan and the others in that direction."

After a pause, Xu Zhaoting added, "That leech demon is most likely a commander-level being."

In Xu Zhaoting and Zheng Bingxiao's view, facing a commander-level demon, these mid-level mages simply had no chance of dealing with it, and Mo Fan and Zhao Manyan were highly likely to lose their lives.

There is an inherent gap between mages and demons; a mid-level mage is practically doomed if he encounters a commander-level demon.

Commander-in-chief level.

Li Xingze frowned slightly. With the bloodline of the Golden Flame Dragon Lion, even if it encountered a demon in the advanced stage of the War General level, it could at least deal with it.

At this moment, Mu Ningxue, Mu Nujiao, and Song Xia also arrived. All three women looked unwell, especially Mu Ningxue, whose face was pale and bloodless.

Upon seeing Li Xingze, Song Xia hurriedly said, "Mu Ningxue is injured! You must see!"

"I'm fine," Mu Ningxue said through gritted teeth.

Li Xingze frowned. Mo Fan and Zhao Manyan were in mortal danger, Mu Ningxue and Bai Tingting were injured, and there were countless bloodthirsty demonic leeches around them.

We haven't even reached the core area of Dongting Lake yet, and we've already encountered a commander-level demon. Our luck is just too good.
