Naruto: The Uchiha Calabash Brothers are reshaping the ninja world

"Mo, are you looking for a mission?"

Minato Namikaze, with a sunny smile on his face, bent down and moved closer to Uchiha Mo.

Mo turned his gaze back and began searching the taskbar again.

Minato received no response and was slightly embarrassed, but still tried to strike up a conversation enthusiastically:

"Didn't find anything satisfactory? I have a mission from the Hokage that you'd like to take a look at. I heard it's a mission from the Land of Birds, where a minister is returning home and will depart the day after tomorrow. Although it's a C-rank mission, it specifically requires a powerful figure from Konoha to lead the team."

As soon as he finished speaking, Mo immediately turned his gaze back to Minato Namikaze. Looking into Minato's azure eyes, he didn't rush, but instead asked:

"Why aren't you going?"

Minato smiled. "Our Team 7 only recently returned to Konoha. This is Obito and Rin's first mission, so they need some time to adjust. If you're willing to take on this mission, I'll discuss it with the Hokage."

He shook the mission scroll in his hand, his face seemingly radiating a warm glow.

Uchiha Mo took the scroll from Minato Namikaze and began to carefully peruse it.

The employer's requirements were written at the top of the task scroll. Mo glanced at them briefly before shifting his gaze to the route planning.

A line stretched straight from Konoha to the border of the Land of Fire, then began to swirl around after entering the Land of Rain. It made several turns within the Land of Rain before reaching the border of the Land of Birds and then heading straight to the capital of the Land of Birds.

Uchiha Mo frowned slightly, said nothing, and instead put the scroll back into Minato's hand.

I owe you a favor.

Upon hearing this, Minato paused for a moment, then raised the corners of his mouth.

"I understand. I will discuss it with the Hokage."

  

With that, a flash of golden light appeared, and Minato vanished from the spot.

"Golden Flash..."

Mo muttered something slowly, and just as Minato Namikaze placed his hand on his shoulder, he realized that the other man was already beside him...

"It seems my strength is nothing special after all."

Mo shook his head and turned to leave the mission hall.

The next day, Minato relayed the mission scroll and the news that the handover had been completed to Uchiha Sumi.

After putting away the scroll, Mo returned to his room to study it.

Although the employer's planned route was quite strange, Mo didn't pay too much attention to it. There were too many strange people in the ninja world, especially among the noble class; this minister might also have some strange hobbies.

He spread out a map of the Bird Kingdom and began comparing the several large black market merchant gathering places he had marked with the route the mission was taking.

The route circled the Land of Rain several times before heading straight for the capital from the border of the Land of Birds at a very strange angle, avoiding all the major black markets.

On the third day, at the appointed time, Uchiha Sumi brought the three members of Team 8 to the mission hall to meet their employer. Surprisingly, Hiruzen Sarutobi was also there.

He sat in the center of the long table and immediately spotted the four students from Class 8.

"It's Mo. You're here to see Mr. Yusuke, right?"

The Third Hokage waved and said with a smile.

Asma was incredibly excited about the upcoming mission. He shouted, "Dad, stop talking nonsense and get that thing out here already! I can't wait!"

Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed helplessly, wanting to take out his pipe for a couple of puffs but then considering the surroundings.

Just then, a well-dressed, ruddy-faced, and somewhat wealthy-looking middle-aged man walked into the hall through a side door.

He had clearly heard the commotion in the hall. He glanced at the students of Class 8 and asked:

"Are these the ninjas who accepted my mission?"

Terada Yusuke looked at Sarutobi Hiruzen with a slightly puzzled expression.

Hiruzen Sarutobi looked at the four members of Team 8, who were all only ten years old, coughed awkwardly twice, and then slowly began to explain:

"Mr. Yusuke, please don't be impatient. Although these people don't seem that strong, this one..."

Before he could finish speaking, Terada Yusuke sighed and interrupted, "Hokage, please forgive my bluntness. Although a ninja's strength cannot be simply estimated by age, these few look... far too young."

As soon as Terada Yusuke finished speaking, Asuma exploded.

Terada Yusuke was slightly taken aback, seemingly not expecting Uchiha Sumi to ask such a question, but after realizing what he had said, he casually replied:

"Of course there are, but I sent them all back early. Since we've decided to have Konoha ninjas escort us, ordinary bodyguards would just be a burden. It's better to reduce their size and increase security."
