LOL: What does "mid-lane hybrid expert" mean?

Coach Nofe stroked his beard as he reviewed the few recent matches Malzaha had played against in various leagues.

He is a typical coach who is willing to trust his players; otherwise, he wouldn't have brought out a bot lane combination like Miss Fortune and Ashe in RoxTiger's do-or-die match.

But a Malzahar main... is really too rare, isn't it?

Nofe looked up from the tablet and at Li Yi, who was adjusting the talent page:

Nofe has mentored many newcomers, most of whom have a strong desire to perform and are eager to make a splash.

Li Yi, who was repeatedly spun around by mid laners in Summoner's Rift, clearly understood the base damage of each mid laner.

Lissandra's level 1 Q [Frost Shard] only deals 70 damage to a single target, so it definitely can't deliver that kind of burst damage.

The only explanation is that after realizing there were no opportunities to gank, Tank simply didn't learn the E skill and instead casually leveled up Q to level 2 in an attempt to exert pressure.
