Mystery: When the Lost Homelanders Meet the Lost Homeland Call
Chapter 65 The Power of the Profound Saint Lord
"Captain." Klein walked over to Dunn, squatted down, and looked at him.
Dunn's face was frighteningly pale in the sunlight; his eyes were closed, and his breathing was slow and shallow.
"Captain!" Klein's voice trembled.
Dunn did not respond.
Klein's hands began to tremble.
Then Dunn opened his eyes: "Stop shouting."
He playfully closed one eye, a faint smile playing on his lips. "I just need to get some sleep. This time I really need to get some sleep."
Klein: "..."
"Haha," Dunn sat up, his eyes regaining their depth, "Could you introduce that Lynn guy?"
Klein saw the other night watchmen gathering around and realized that Dunn was giving him another way out.
The existence of a wild Beyonder is already quite problematic, but this wild Beyonder is so strong and seems to know the Night Watchers. This is a very serious issue. It's much better for Klein to address it here than to leave any comments later.
"I know him," Klein said. "He's a captain, because of some ancient books..."
Klein began to fabricate a story on the spot about how he met Lynn.
At this very moment, directly beneath this warehouse, in the darkness that was unknown to what depth beneath the ground, Lynn stood in a space emitting a strange, faint light. Beneath his feet was something indistinguishable between solid and liquid—a multicolored, black, viscous, constantly writhing sludge.
Moreover, this clump of silt constantly changes its physical properties, sometimes resembling metal, sometimes seawater, and sometimes a living organism.
Thorns grow rampant on the muddy ground.
At the heart of the thorns, in the deepest part of the mud, there was something constantly trying to take on a human form.
Each of its changes repeats the same process: from a blurry, muddy mass of flesh and blood, it gradually condenses into a human form, then collapses back into flesh and blood, and then condenses again, repeating this cycle endlessly.
In those "human" forms, Lynn saw half-mad and completely mad Riel Bieber, people he didn't recognize, and the Hammer Gang members he threw into the sea with.
"A generous gift of crabs," Lynn murmured, his brow furrowing slightly as he watched the ever-changing humanoid silhouette emerge and vanish. He recalled the description of the Elements in the original novel, *Deepsea Embers*.
It will exhibit all the characteristics of all things in the world and will forever be in a continuous cycle of evolution. It represents all the plans and blueprints of the Profound Lord when shaping reality, while short-sighted mortals can never measure any of the precise properties of the elements.
"Has the power of the Deep Lord come here?"
As expected... Lynn rubbed his forehead.
The Lord of the Deep, the creator of all creatures in the boundless sea, is the being who holds the power of creation and devouring. His body covers the entire bottom of the deep sea, and his uncontrolled proliferation has created the entire cycle of the Deep Demons.
Stripped of its mythical veneer, its true name is LH-01. Before the destruction of the universe in which it was born, when it was still a unit, it was one of the main engines of the New Hope.
LH-01 controls the nanoclusters of the New Hope, responsible for consuming matter, recording blueprint information, and manufacturing the blueprints.
Their creators were a wise and resilient race who slowed the passage of time before the Great Annihilation, and then spent a century building the New Hope within a time pod, while simultaneously creating three mainframes.
LH-01, the Navigator One, later known as the Deep Lord, was the first to be created. Its mission was to recreate everything in our civilization when the New Hope arrived at its new home. To this end, it was given the mission of creation and replication, and was given the ability to understand and reorganize all matter.
LH-02, the second navigator, was created later. Its duty was to control the operation of the entire ark, while recording and processing all digitized data. After the creators fell asleep, it would take their place in thinking and deciding the fate of the ship.
After the world was destroyed, LH-02 was known as the God of Wisdom, Rahm.
LH-03, Navigator Three, is the smallest of them. Her duty is to guide the Ark through the stars to find the correct path. To this end, she has recorded the positions and evolutionary rules of all known stars and controls all the engine systems on the Ark.
Unfortunately, even with God's perspective, Lynn could not glimpse the civilization of the creator.
The Profound Lord said that their civilization was magnificent and beautiful, like a treasure among the stars.
But all of that has vanished into the distance, and inefficient language communication cannot recreate even a fraction of its glory.
On a suitable day, they set off, carrying everything of their civilization.
Before setting off, Navigator 1 was ordered to devour the Creators' home planet and store everything on the planet's surface in a memory bank for future replication; Navigator 3 selected the most likely safe location deep within the stars and ignited its engines the instant the time pod ruptured; Navigator 2 then took over the other systems on the ship and carefully protected the Creators' sleeping minds deep within its Sea of Minds.
Then, before that crimson, symbolizing the end of the world, devoured everything, they set sail.
They kept moving forward, advancing along the route planned by Navigator 3, while the deep red, like a tide, relentlessly pursued them from the other side of the universe. Stars collapsed beside them, the spacetime structure crumbled behind them, the universe gradually disintegrated, and everything eventually deviated completely from the way it was recorded in the database.
In fact, the Navigator 2 had already calculated the outcome of the journey the moment it set off—it could always predict the final result of things in advance, and their voyage ultimately could not escape its calculations.
After their final hyperspace jump, they came to an end, and the "safe" new home calculated by Navigator 3 crumbled under the probe's watchful eye.
The starry sky suddenly went dark, and brilliant light surged from the enormous rift. The light that fell into it was enough to withstand the destruction of spaceships from outside the universe.
In the destruction of the universe, neutron stars are no different from soap bubbles.
Later, perhaps because they were powerful enough, or perhaps because they were lucky enough, Navigator One and Navigator Two became among the surviving ancient kings, while Navigator Three, the most severely injured, remained dormant within Navigator One's body.
"That makes sense. The Lord of the Deep has been replicating himself, and his size is enormous while his structure is more dispersed. Given the existence of a channel, it is only natural that it is He who transmits the power here."
"The White Tower," Lynn whispered to himself, "good news, we've obtained a compatible sample of another world, and we can even find a way to communicate with it."
"Bad news, I suspect that even the Lord of the Deep is unaware that his power has been leaked."
