Sunshine sat in the guild hall, legs crossed, at the bar, a glass of cold tea in front of him, listlessly counting the cracks in the hall's beams.

Outside the guild, Mistgang was busily setting up an array, his movements so practiced it was almost like he was just going through the motions.

One by one, the members were brought down by his hypnotic magic, falling down in all sorts of strange positions: some lay face down on the table, some slid off the chair, and some simply fell asleep standing up, their heads bobbing up and down as if they were meditating.

Riyao walked outside with a teacup, watching him busy at work, and occasionally took a sip of cool tea.

"Do you do this every time you come back?"

Mistergang turned around, paused for a moment, and slightly gripped the insole with his toes.

"No, it's because the guild members have become stronger lately, and the ordinary hypnosis effect isn't enough. We need to add several layers, mainly because we're afraid Natsu will keep bothering me."

"That idiot might actually try to fight you. By the way, I came to see you mainly because Wendy wanted to meet you. She now knows you're Gerald of Edolas."

Mistgang was silent for a moment, his breathing seemed to pause for a second under his mask, and then he slowly nodded.

Riyao led Mister Gang to the infirmary and pushed open the door.

Wendy was lying on the hospital bed, fast asleep thanks to sleep magic. Her little face was peaceful, her breathing was even, and the scroll containing the Dragon Slayer Secret Technique was beside her.

Sunlight stepped forward, placed his palm on Wendy's forehead, and a surge of emerald green magic gently dispelled the sleep effect.

Wendy's eyelids twitched, and she slowly opened her eyes, seeing Sunrise and then Mistgang behind it.

He sat up abruptly, opened his mouth, but no sound came out.

"Alright, you guys chat, I'll be going now."

Sunshine patted Mistgang on the shoulder and tactfully withdrew.

He walked out of the infirmary, closing the door behind him. Wendy's nasal voice could be faintly heard through the crack in the door.

He walked over to Mirajane, who was lying face down on the bar, her cheek pressed into a mark, and a trace of drool hanging from the corner of her mouth.

Riyao couldn't help but smile, gently picked her up and carried her to the sofa, letting her lean against him.

"Time to get up."

Mirajane opened her eyes groggily, her vision still somewhat unfocused.

Seeing that it was Riyao, she snuggled closer to him, finding a more comfortable spot to curl up like a lazy kitten.

"Is it that Mystogan has returned?"

"Yeah, I'm chatting with Wendy in the infirmary."

Riyao gestured towards the infirmary.

Mirajane shifted her body, resting her head on Sunshine's chest, listening to his heartbeat, intending to doze off for a while longer, but her eyelids drooped heavily again.

Gildarts sat on the other side of the bar, raised his glass, took a big gulp, and let out a satisfied yawn.

"Huh~ Who's Mistgang? Making such a big fuss, is he new?"

Sunburst and Mirajane both looked at Gildarts, their expressions indescribable.

Makarov stared speechlessly at Kirdas, tapping his cane twice on the bar counter.

"I've been a member for a long time, but you guys always just missed each other perfectly. It's not like you've been gone for three years."

Gildarts gave an awkward smile, touched his nose, and tried to make an excuse.

"That's because the century-long mission is too difficult and requires thorough preparation."

Makarov directly exposed Kirdas's secrets, pulling out several crumpled bills from under the bar and slamming them onto the bar, making the glasses shake.

"Come on, you spend most of your time traveling around. These compensation notices came from seven different cities, from all over the place!"

Gildarts took a sip of his drink, embarrassed, and covered half of his face with the glass.

"They've already found out, hahaha..."

Makarov picked up a bill and began to read it aloud.

"East of Fiore, a tavern was damaged; compensation of three million J will be awarded."

Gildarts coughed.

"That was an accident. The alcohol there was too strong, and I drank too much, hahaha..."

"Konoha Village, a section of the city wall was knocked down, compensation of five million J."

"That city wall wasn't very sturdy to begin with."

"TrueNew Town, three acres of farmland trampled, compensation..."

"Alright, alright, stop reading!"

Gildarts quickly waved his hand, continuing to pull without batting an eye.

"Oh, to use Sunrise's words, don't worry about the details."

Riyao glanced at the two old guys at the bar and his lips twitched.

"Don't drag me into this. You're lucky to have run into that black dragon."

Gildarts sighed, his face contorted in pain, and twirled his wine glass in his hand twice, his expression unusually serious for a moment.

"That's just bad luck. Who would have thought I'd run into a black dragon? That thing hasn't appeared in ages. The last recorded appearance was over a hundred years ago, and I just happened to be there."

"To encounter a black dragon that only comes along once in a century, how can you say that isn't lucky, hehe."

Sunlight looked at Gildarts with a mocking tone, his manner incredibly irritating.

Gildarts rolled his eyes, deciding not to bother with him anymore.

Mister Gang walked out of the infirmary, his footsteps very light and almost silent.

He nodded to the group, his gaze lingering on Riyao for a moment as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he just nodded slightly and turned to leave the guild.

The magic's effects dissipated, and guild members awoke one by one.

"Damn it, I couldn't resist Mystogan's hypnosis again!"

Natsu sprang to his feet with a somersault, his fists clenched so tightly they cracked. He looked around, but didn't see Mystogan, so he turned and charged at Gildarts.

"Kildarts! I challenge you!"

Gildarts didn't even look up, and casually threw a punch.

Natsu didn't even have a chance to react before he was hit so hard that he saw stars, spun around twice, and fell to the ground like a wooden stake, snoring loudly.

"Natsu, I don't want to fight. What if I hurt you?"

Gildarts held his wine glass, his tone as indifferent as if he were simply remarking on the pleasant weather.

Lucy rubbed her eyes and opened them, only to see Natsu lying on the ground. She instinctively made a sarcastic remark.

"You've already made your move, huh?"

Happy flew to Natsu's side and poked his cheek.

"Natsu sleeps so well, he's fallen asleep again."

Lucy rolled her eyes, deciding she didn't want to complain anymore.

Sunrise and Mirajane entered the infirmary and saw Wendy sitting on the hospital bed, her eyes and nose red, but her lips were slightly curved.

Mirajane walked over and gently pulled Wendy into his arms. Wendy rested her head on Mirajane's shoulder, her body trembling slightly.

"Why are you crying? Did Mistgang bully you?"

Mirajane's voice was as gentle as if she were coaxing a child.

Wendy shook her head, lifted her head from Mirajane's arms, and raised a tearful smile, her nose red and her eyelashes still wet with tears.

"No, it's just that I was thinking about everyone at the Cat's Den. I also know that Geralt has his own reasons for leaving me behind, he didn't do it on purpose..."

Riyao shrugged, lay down on his own recliner, took out a handful of sunflower seeds from his pocket, and started cracking them open. The shells bounced precisely into the trash can next to him.

If Jellal from Aslant hadn't been controlled, he probably would have become the protagonist of Fairy Tail.

They're already strong, and when the time comes, they'll keep saying "Don't underestimate our bond," and they'll surely crush the enemy.

Riyao cracked sunflower seeds and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Mirajane, holding Wendy, turned to look at Sunrise.

"What are you laughing at?"

"It's nothing, I just thought of something happy."

Mirajane glanced at him suspiciously, but didn't press the matter, continuing to gently pat Wendy's back as if soothing a baby.
