Sunburst was on his way to Fairy Tail, and his Earth Surf in Celestial Form made him feel exceptionally good.

Natsu is the smartest kid. After being suppressed by Lucy, he lay on the ground and refused to get up, with a strange sense of enjoyment on his face.

Gray walked over and helped Natsu up, making him sit on the stool next to him. His movements were very careful, a stark contrast to Gray who would take off his clothes at the drop of a hat.

"Natsu, are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"

Natsu rubbed the back of his head, looking aggrieved, while still making sure to talk to Gray.

"Grey, can you take your clothes off? I feel uncomfortable with you wearing so much. It makes me feel all over."

The refined Marcao watched them with their arms around each other's shoulders, smiling as he held his teacup.

"You two still have such a good relationship, it's really enviable."

Harpy took two steps back, bumped into someone, looked up, and was so frightened that his tail stood on end.

"Lidas?! He's way too skinny!"

The man before him, Lidas, was as thin as a bamboo pole, with a fierce expression on his face. He was a completely different person from the burly giant he had been before.

Lidas leaned forward, his expression fierce, a cigarette dangling from his mouth as he exhaled a puff of smoke.

"Watch where you're going, kid! Don't blame me if you get stepped on, tui~"

He spat on the ground, turned around, and walked away cursing.

Happy was so frightened that he scrambled to Natsu's feet and hid behind his legs, trembling with fear.

A pair of large hands lifted him up, their movements as gentle as if they were holding a fragile object.

"Don't run around, you can easily get hurt."

When Harpy turned around, his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets, and the whole cat froze.

"Laxus?!"

Happy couldn't believe that the person in front of him, wearing round-framed glasses, a neat shirt, and looking like a scholar, was Laxus, the Thor who clamored to rule the guild during the Fairy Civil War!

When Natsu heard Happy call out his name, he looked up sharply and almost dropped the cup in his hand.

What the heck? This seemingly refined, gentle, and approachable blond man is Laxus?!

Natsu rushed forward, circled Laxus twice, and started tugging at him, pulling at his sleeves, pushing up his glasses, and even pinching his cheek.

Laxus wasn't angry at all; instead, she smiled gently and even straightened Natsu's scarf, which had been pulled askew.

"Natsu seems really energetic today. Did something happy happen?"

Natsu slumped back down, burying his face in his hands, utterly dejected.

"This world is terrifying..."

Laxus sat down next to him, adjusted his glasses, and looked at Natsu with concern.

"Hmm? Is Natsu running into some kind of trouble outside? Why don't you tell me, and see if I can help?"

Happy blinked and tentatively raised his little paw.

"May I eat fish?"

"Fish, how about tilapia? I just bought some fresh ones," Laxus asked gently.

"I'll take any fish!"

Habi's eyes lit up, and he was practically drooling.

Laxus got up and went to the kitchen. Not long after, he brought out a plate of braised fish, which was bright red and had a wonderful aroma.

He even carefully removed the fish bones before serving it to Habi.

Happy was so tempted that his mouth watered, and he pounced on it and started eating it in big mouthfuls, his cheeks puffed out.

"Thank you so much, Laxus! Your fish was delicious!"

"Don't be shy, I'm just glad you're enjoying your meal."

Laxus smiled, her eyes crinkling, and pushed up her glasses. Her gentle demeanor gave Natsu goosebumps.

Little Wendy mustered her courage and walked up to Big Wendy, tilting her head back and twisting the hem of her clothes with her fingers.

"Excuse me, may I ask what you usually eat?"

Big Wendy glanced down at her and frowned.

"You little rascal, you've already asked the question, haven't you? It's just ordinary food, nothing special. Why did you ask?"

Little Wendy returned to Xia Lulu's side, looking dejected, and squatted down, burying her head in her knees, her shoulders trembling slightly.

Xia Lulu patted her on the back and sighed.

Big Wendy scratched her head, completely clueless about what Little Wendy was up to, muttered "weird brat" and walked away.

Looking up, he met a pair of bright, sparkling eyes. A golden retriever was staring intently at the fish on his plate, its tail wagging rapidly.

"Ah! A dog!"

Habi jumped three feet high in fright, almost knocking over the plate.

Mirajane walked over, bent down, picked up the golden retriever, and affectionately rubbed its head against it.

"Sunrise, don't be naughty, you'll scare the guests."

The golden retriever barked and licked Mirajane's face. Mirajane giggled at the lick, showing no sign of anger.

Natsu, Happy, Wendy, and Charlene were stunned once again.

All four heads turned to Mirajane, their expressions shifting from shock to confusion to disbelief.

"What did Mira call that dog just now?"

"...Sunrise?"

Mirajane tilted her head, holding the golden retriever in her arms, and looked at their exaggerated reaction with a puzzled expression.

"Yes, two years ago Lisana fell off a cliff, and it was this thing that led me to Lisana, so I brought it back. I named it Sunrise, is there a problem?"

The golden retriever wriggled in Mirajane's arms and glanced in Harpy's direction, clearly still thinking about the plate of fish.

"And it's a gluttonous golden retriever! It looks so much like one!"

The four of them burst into laughter and couldn't stop.
