Reborn as a lotus, she initially refuses to hand it over to the state.

Thinking of this, Chu Zhou's expression darkened, and he immediately sent a message to Xiao Jinbao.

"Little Jinbao".

Little Jinbao was leading the way above the Blackwood Serpent Valley expedition team when he heard Chu Zhou's voice. He perked up and quickly replied, "Master, your subordinate is here."

Chu Zhou said, "I've come back first to bring something to give to the humans."

"Yes, Master."

Little Jinbao didn't waste any words, and soon after, they arrived at the shore of Black Dragon Lake.

A jet-black scale was peeled off by Chu Zhou from the polluted creature in the underground river.

The scales were as big as a washbasin, and their surface was shrouded in a faint black aura.

Even though it has been mostly purified by the system, it still makes people feel uncomfortable at first glance.

Little Jinbao, holding a scale in its mouth, looked disgusted and said, "Master, this thing stinks."

Chu Zhou found it amusing, but still said, "Send this thing to the human observation point and tell them not to even think about touching anything underground."

Little Jinbao's eyes lit up, and he asked with a smile, "Master, can I speak?"

Chu Zhou glanced at it: "Don't swear."

Little Jinbao chuckled and said, "Don't worry, Master, this bird is the most polite."

Chu Zhou was speechless, thinking to himself, "You silly bird, you're polite? You're the fiercest when it comes to cursing."

He was too lazy to pay attention to Little Golden Treasure, so he sent it to deliver a message. Little Golden Treasure transformed into a golden light and soared into the sky, heading towards the outer edge of Black Dragon Mountain.

At the observation point on the outskirts of Heilongshan Mountain, staff are adjusting the equipment.

Suddenly, a gust of wind descended from the sky.

"What happened?"

The staff member's expression changed; he was somewhat surprised and subconsciously looked up.

A golden figure swooped down from the night sky.

"alert!"

The ninth team members' expressions changed drastically, and they all raised their guns. However, the golden light was too fast, and they didn't have time to lock on.

boom!

A jet-black scale slammed heavily in front of the observation equipment, cracking the ground beneath it.

Immediately afterwards, an arrogant voice came from the sky: "Hey, human, my master asked me to pass on a message."

"Don't dig underground randomly. There are dirty things underground. If you stir them up, you'll die."

After saying that, Little Jinbao circled in the air once, and couldn't help but add, "Also, don't stuff all of you scrap metal into Black Dragon Mountain, or next time Bird Master won't just be sending scales."

As soon as he finished speaking, a flash of golden light appeared, and Little Golden Treasure disappeared into the horizon. The entire observation point was deathly silent.

All the members of the Ninth Bureau looked at the black scale on the ground, their faces growing increasingly grim.

A moment later, the person in charge at the scene suddenly realized what was happening.

"Report to headquarters immediately; the Azure Lotus Forbidden Zone has responded."

The person in charge at the scene was trembling slightly. His fear was not because of the scale, but because Little Jinbao had just been able to speak human language.

This is absolutely unbelievable! It's like an animal has become a spirit!

The members of the Ninth Bureau looked at each other, and no one spoke for a long time. They had all seen alien beasts before, and some of them had even killed them with their own hands, but this was the first time they had ever seen an alien beast that could speak human language.

This is no longer a simple intelligent beast, but a civilized life form in another sense.

The person in charge at the scene took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the shock in his heart, and said, "Seal off all the audio and video recordings from just now. No one is allowed to distribute them without permission. Also, put this scale into the isolation box immediately."

"Notify the psionic detection team not to make direct contact with this thing; it may be contaminated."

The staff quickly got to work, and soon the black scale was placed into a specially made isolation box.

Even through the transparent protective layer, everyone who looked at it felt an indescribable sense of oppression.

It was as if it wasn't a scale, but something that shouldn't exist in this world.

Half an hour later, in Beijing, at the headquarters of the Ninth Bureau.

An urgent report was delivered to Zhou Zhenshan.

[An observation point outside the Qinglian restricted area encountered an unknown flying beast]

[Target: Golden bird, suspected to be a member of the Azure Lotus Forbidden Zone]

[Realm Assessment: At least Level 4]

[Special Circumstances: The target can communicate using human language]

[Item carried: Unknown contaminated scales]

[Message: Do not touch the ground]

After reading the report, Zhou Zhenshan's expression immediately turned serious. He didn't rush to speak, but instead turned on the video recording.

In the image, golden light streaks across the night sky.

The next second, a jet-black scale crashed down in front of the observation equipment.

Immediately afterwards, Xiao Jinbao's arrogant voice rang out.

"Hey, human, my master asked me to pass on a message."

"Don't dig underground randomly. There are dirty things underground. If you stir them up, you'll die."

"Also, don't stuff all your junk into Black Dragon Mountain, or next time Bird Master won't just be sending scales."

After the video finished playing, the office fell into a deathly silence.

Wang Jun opened his mouth, but after a long pause, he managed to stammer out, "This strange bird can actually speak human language?"

Old Ye, who was sitting nearby, couldn't sit still any longer. He quickly stepped forward and replayed the video.

After listening, his expression changed completely: "This is not a mental wave transmission, nor is it a simulated sound wave. This strange bird is speaking human language."

Wang Jun couldn't help but say, "A bird that speaks human language, and so fluently at that, it's fucking a spirit!"

Old Ye took a deep breath: "This is the most terrifying part."

Zhou Zhenshan looked at him: "What do you mean?"

Old Master Ye pointed at Little Jinbao on the screen and said in a deep voice, "We can understand that strange beasts possess intelligence."

"We had long suspected that fourth-tier alien beasts possessed human-like thinking."

"But why can it speak human language?"

The office fell silent again, and Wang Jun's pupils contracted.

Yes, why?

Why can a golden bird living in the restricted area of Heilong Mountain use human language?

That doesn't make sense unless someone teaches it.

Elder Ye continued, "This shows that there is a language inheritance within the Azure Lotus Forbidden Zone."

"At least, the Lord of the Azure Lotus can understand human language and can teach it to his followers."

Wang Jun's expression changed slightly: "You mean, that blue lotus may have been in contact with humans for a long time?"

Old Master Ye shook his head: "Not only that, there's another possibility."

He said this with a grim expression, "That Lord of the Azure Lotus possesses a complete human mind."

After those words were spoken, the office fell completely silent.

Zhou Zhenshan's eyes were deep; in fact, he had already suspected this.

Because during the last contact with Chu Zhou, the logic, emotions, and negotiation style he displayed were unlike those of an ordinary alien beast.

It doesn't resemble a plant that has just developed sentience.

It not only has a human name, but also possesses intelligence far exceeding that of mythical beasts, which is simply unbelievable.

If it weren't for the strange changes in the world, Zhou Zhenshan would have thought all of this was too absurd.

Wang Jun couldn't help but ask, "Could it be a transfer of human consciousness?"

Old Master Ye smiled wryly: "No one can say for sure now. After the spiritual energy recovers, all sorts of strange things are happening. Humans are becoming awakened beings, animals are becoming strange beasts, and plants are developing intelligence."

"If reincarnation of consciousness truly exists, it's not entirely incomprehensible."

At this point, Old Ye's eyes became even more serious: "But I'm more worried about something else."

Zhou Zhenshan asked, "What is it?"

Elder Ye said, "If the Lord of the Azure Lotus can teach a bird to speak human language, could it then teach more exotic beasts, and perhaps even establish a complete civilization of exotic beasts?"
