Almost everyone present knew Brother Dafei and was aware of his prowess. The private room fell into complete silence; you could hear a pin drop.

Zhao Yimin had been beaten up by Brother Dafei before, and his calves would turn around whenever he saw Brother Dafei.

Big Fei, with a tuft of white hair on his forehead, arrived, slammed his hand heavily on the table, and roared, "What are you all talking nonsense about here? You know you're disturbing my meal?"

No one dared to speak.

Big Fei glanced around and recognized Ye Kai. "Brother Kai, what are you doing eating here? These people aren't worthy of sitting with you, old man!"

Ye Kai smiled slightly, "Your eyesight is better today, you actually recognized me."

"Absolutely! I got contact lenses because I was worried I wouldn't be able to see you and would make a fool of myself. Kai, did anyone disrespect you today?"

Ye Kai glanced at Zhao Yimin across from him, and Brother Dafei also looked at Zhao Yimin, recognizing him.

"Hey kid, aren't you that Zhao something-or-other from that accident-causing gang?"

Zhao Yimin's heart was pounding, and he said in a trembling voice, "I didn't disrespect Brother Kai."

Immediately, a man went out and brought back a chicken leg from another room.

Zhao Yimin was so frightened that he crawled under the table, but several men dragged him out, grabbed his arms, and pressed him to the ground.

One man grabbed Zhao Yimin's head to prevent him from moving, while another man pried open Zhao Yimin's mouth.

Big Fei took the chicken leg in and spun it around a few times.

"Ah!" A bloodcurdling scream rang out.

A man handed him a napkin, which Dafei took and used to wipe his hands.

"Who else is disrespectful to Brother Kai, you?"

Dafei glared at Jiang Lan, who was startled and quickly waved her hands.

"No, I like Ye Kai, and I want to marry him!"

"Slap!" Brother Dafei slapped Jiang Lan across the face.

Jiang Lan covered her burning face and said, feeling wronged, "Why did you hit me?"

"You filthy bitch, why don't you take a piss and look in the mirror? You think you're good enough for Brother Kai?"

Jiang Lan usually only bullied the suppliers' salesmen, but when she encountered someone as vicious as Brother Dafei, her legs trembled with fear, and she said meekly:

"Yes, I'm not good enough for Kai-ge!"

Ye Kai saw that it was about time and waved to Da Fei, "Alright, you can go ahead and get busy."

Big Fei clasped his hands in a fist salute, "Then I'm off, Brother Kai. Please let me know if you need anything!"

The group walked out of the private room, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Then Zhao Yimin's mouth was full of blood, and he was taken out for treatment by the waiter.

After Dafei's outburst, no one was in the mood to discuss how to deal with Wolma anymore, and they quickly finished their meal and dispersed.

After everyone had left, Jiang Qian asked Ye Kai in confusion,

"What's going on? What's your relationship with this Brother Dafei? Why is he being so nice to you?"

"I saved their leader, and he was grateful to me. When he saw others bullying me, he would stand up for me."

The two focused on examining the fresh food items, carefully observing them at the counter.

Ye Kai went to the fruit section, found his watermelon, which was priced at ten yuan and ten cents per pound.

He overheard a customer complaining to someone next to him: "Damn it, this watermelon manufacturer is outrageous! Yesterday I bought watermelons at the Hai Shang Lian Hua supermarket for fifteen yuan a pound, but today I came here and they're only ten yuan a pound! Isn't this ripping people off?"

The person next to him chimed in, "Yeah, Wolma's prices are much cheaper. Hai Shang Lianhua Supermarket is just no good, they're ruthless!"

"From now on, everyone should come to Wolma to sell their goods!"

Ye Kai felt his face burning. Jiang Qian pulled him aside. "See? We sell things cheaply here, driving down the price, and customers are cursing us, calling us profiteers!"

Ye Kai nodded. "It seems the problem is indeed very serious."

"These large supermarkets take advantage of their large volume and bully their customers, relentlessly exploiting suppliers, then driving down prices to force other small supermarkets to close down, leaving only themselves to monopolize the market."

"It seems your concerns are justified."

"Ye Kai, what brings you here?" Mary appeared in front of Ye Kai without him noticing.
