A Japanese ronin, dressed in a kimono and wearing wooden clogs, approached with a sake cup in his hand and said in a lewd voice, "Hey pretty girl, come and have a drink with me."

The wanderer glanced at Wan Hong, then at Jiang Qian.

"Haha, you two girls are both very pretty, I like you both!"

Wan Hong yelled, "Get lost!"

"What did you say?"

"I told you to get lost!"

The surrounding guests heard it and looked over.

Many glared angrily at the ronin, but even more dared not speak out against him.

Because the Japanese wielded considerable power in Jiangzhou, officials turned a blind eye, which only emboldened them further.

"You little brat, you've got some nerve, daring to be disrespectful to me."

The ronin reached out to grab Wan Hong, when suddenly a white light flashed and struck his hand. He felt as if he had been electrocuted, and a sharp burning pain shot through him. The ronin clutched his hand and screamed.

The ronin thought Wan Hong was behind it all and tried to capture her, but he was stiff all over and couldn't move at all.

The ronin tried a few times, but his limbs felt as if they were tied up.

He was terrified. He looked around but couldn't see anything special. He tried to run, but his feet felt like they were glued to the floor.

His two accomplices shouted, "Koji Sakata, what's wrong with you?"

With a pained expression, Koji Sakata said, "I can't move, please help me!"

His companions mocked him, "You don't just become unable to resist pretty girls, do you?"

"Those two girls are really pretty, no wonder Koji fell for them, hahaha!"

Koji Sakata said angrily, "I really can't move, and you two are still laughing at me. Are you even friends?"

"If you don't come to rescue me soon, I'm going back and telling your wives about you two visiting prostitutes."
