An hour later, the two tidied their clothes and returned to the car.

Just as Ye Kai was about to go to sleep, a hand reached out and pinched the soft flesh on his waist, startling him.

The lights in the room were all off, and thick curtains covered the windows, making the room pitch black. Ye Kai couldn't see who had come in.

He grabbed the man's hand; it was soft and smooth, and he knew it was a woman's hand.

Ye Kai got off the bed and led the woman to the next bedroom. He turned on the light and saw that the woman was Nie Shanshan.

Ye Kai was surprised. "Shanshan, what brings you here?"

"I forgot some clothes here and came to get them. I didn't expect you to come too. This is really fate," Nie Shanshan said as she clung to Ye Kai.

"How long have you been here?"

"I arrived a little earlier than you. I had just finished packing my things and was about to leave when you came. I had no choice but to hide in my room."

After thinking for a while, Ye Kai returned to Jiang Ping's room, only to find that Jiang Ping was not there.

He was taken aback, fearing that Jiang Ping would run into Nie Shanshan's room, which would be troublesome.

Ye Kai came out of his room and looked around, finding Jiang Ping wandering around the living room.

Ye Kai stepped forward and asked, "Why aren't you sleeping this late at night? What are you up to?"
