One Piece: The Will of Conqueror is the strongest

Chapter 18 Monkey D. Dragon's Invitation

"It's so troublesome not knowing how to use space-time sealing techniques."

Brando saw a lot of things he wanted to buy, and he felt like he was having a collecting spree.

But he couldn't take it, and he didn't have a boat to release it.

Since he couldn't use the Time-Space Sealing Technique, he now wanted to obtain the Time-Space Sealing Technique and become a mobile warehouse like Tian Tian.

After Garp arrived in Loguetown, he didn't do much. He just wandered around and showed no intention of working. Unless the World Government sent a message and Sengoku contacted him, he would never take the initiative to do any work.

Furthermore, Brando isn't a pirate, and Garp isn't interested in non-pirates; his only favorite attribute is pirate!

During his two days in Loguetown, Brando captured two pirates and unleashed his Haki, while also dominating the underground black market and successfully obtaining the permanent Pose for one of the islands on a route through the Grand Line Paradise. He also incidentally increased his chakra reserves, which were currently negligible.

Brando is preparing to cross the Red Line alone to enter the Grand Line. Going through Reverse Mountain is not suitable for him; he needs a ship and a navigator.

As Brando was preparing to find a hotel to rest for the night before setting off early the next morning, someone stopped him in a dimly lit alley.

A face that had been slapped by the Supreme Great Slipper.

Monkey D. Dragon.

Upon seeing this guy, Brando knew his identity had been exposed.

Dark clouds gathered in the sky, and a light drizzle began to fall.

"I never expected someone like you to come see me in person."

Brando was somewhat surprised.

Monkey D. Dragon was also within his Haki target range, but he never expected to see this guy in Loguetown.

"Looks like we didn't choose the wrong target."

"Our people also have some intelligence on the black market. The timing of the appearance of a lone wolf and someone interested in the Grand Line is just right. I guess it must be you."

As Monkey D. Dragon explained the reason he had found it, he took off his hood, revealing his appearance.

Brando activated his Sharingan immediately.

This guy in front of him is very dangerous, and Brando dares not be careless in the slightest.

"They wouldn't be trying to invite me to join the Revolutionary Army, would they?"

Brando felt that he had only this one value to the Revolutionary Army.

"That's right. Our Revolutionary Army has been recruiting righteous people who dare to rebel against the World Government. Since you dared to attack the Celestial Dragons, joining our Revolutionary Army is the best choice for you."

Monkey D. Dragon nodded, readily admitting to the matter.

He felt that Brando's Devil Fruit ability was very special and very suitable for fighting against the World Government. He guessed that it was the Imitation Fruit, which would be very useful for intelligence gathering and infiltration.

The Revolutionary Army is currently under severe suppression, so they need someone to infiltrate the World Government to help gather intelligence.

"Hahaha!"

What makes you think I would join the revolutionary army?

"Because of your so-called freedom and equality?"

Brando immediately launched into an undisguised sneer.

"Around the world, people are losing their families and lives because of the Celestial Dragons' 'Celestial Gold'. Many are forced into slavery and lose their lives. In some countries, the entire nation is enslaved and killed because they cannot afford the 'Celestial Gold'."

"What we need to do is save these people, overthrow the rule of the Celestial Dragons and the World Government, and liberate everyone!"

Monkey D. Dragon earnestly explained the ideals of the Revolutionary Army.

After the God Valley Incident, he was completely disillusioned and left the Navy, whereupon he founded the Self-Defense Forces. He was then recognized by the people and reformed the army into the Revolutionary Army!

Over the years, he has overthrown the oppressive rule of more than ten countries and saved countless people. He believes he has done nothing wrong.

"Ha, do you think the World Government's goals were different from yours when it was founded?"

"Heroes will eventually become dragons. You are just repeating the same mistakes. This cycle of reincarnation has never changed. After overthrowing the Celestial Dragons and the World Government, you will become the new Celestial Dragons."

Brando calmly stated his opinion.

He had no interest in saving ordinary people, nor did he have much empathy.

In a world with superpowers, equality? That's the biggest joke.

This kind of world can never be equal. After all, some people are capable of even dying. The idea that one person has one life doesn't even exist. How can there be such a thing as equality?

That was nothing more than a perfectly crafted lie, just like Infinite Tsukuyomi, or even worse!

"Our Revolutionary Army will not do that. We all have ideals and are even willing to give our lives for them. After overthrowing the Celestial Dragons, we will never repeat the same mistakes."

Monkey D. Dragon quickly defended himself.

He had thought about it, but he didn't believe it would happen.

"I'm sorry, I don't believe in this so-called ideal; I'm a self-interested person."

"Everything is based on prioritizing profit."

"If you believe what you're saying is true, then I'll join the Revolutionary Army with only one condition: I want to become the leader of the Revolutionary Army."

Seeing Monkey D. Dragon's serious expression, Brando made his request without hesitation.

"I'm afraid I can't agree to that. You can join us first, and if you gain the approval of the other members, I'm willing to give you the leadership position."

Monkey D. Dragon looked troubled, and finally spoke like this.

Clearly, he didn't think Brando could replace him, but he also believed that Brando had the determination to fight against the World Government and wasn't a bad person. Moreover, if Brando could truly gain everyone's approval, he was willing to step down and give way.

"Stop saying such laughable things. In this kind of world, there is only one way to solve this problem: become stronger, stronger than everyone else. Then you can achieve anything you want."

"Stop deceiving yourself with this hypocritical self-pity. What you're doing is meaningless. People are dying everywhere in the world, and you can't save them all. Isn't your so-called liberation just a way to satisfy your own desires?"

"Stop your hypocritical act, it disgusts me."

Brando chuckled.

All the things the Revolutionary Army did were meaningless. Brando could guess the final plot: Luffy would defeat the final "God," and then the Revolutionary Army would be able to overthrow the World Government.

Without Luffy defeating "God", everything else is meaningless.

In a world of superpowers, only power matters.

He believes Monkey D. Dragon was well aware of this, but still did it anyway.

"But if you do nothing, nothing will change."

After a moment of silence, Monkey D. Dragon raised his head firmly and said.

He could no longer remain indifferent after witnessing such scenes. He did not want to live numbly, ignoring suffering, so he hoped for change, even if it was just a little bit, and he was willing to do it.

"You bastard."

Brando looked surprised.

"You have earned my approval, but unfortunately I have no intention of joining the revolutionary army."

Brando then gave his approval but then refused again.

What does it matter to me how wonderful your dreams are?

If he had the Divine Tree and could activate the Infinite Tsukuyomi, he would definitely take action immediately, making the people in the Infinite Tsukuyomi suffer from his domineering will every day, letting them experience what it feels like to be surrounded by Konoha's scoundrels all day long!
