Lin Feng took them directly to the century-old restaurant, Chunfahe Restaurant.

Located at the intersection of Da Ma Road and Dong San Dao Street, the storefront is small, but once inside, it's a hidden gem.

The room is decorated with carved beams and painted rafters, mahogany tables and chairs, and old black and white photos hanging on the walls, including pictures of Puyi and Wanrong.

The waiter, dressed in a Republic-era style jacket, greeted us with, "Please come in, sir. What would you like to eat?"

Lin Feng opened the menu and ordered snow-white red bean paste, stir-fried mixed vegetables, white meat and blood sausage, and a dish of pickled cabbage stewed with pork bones.

After finishing his meal, Lin Feng took out his newly bought Sony digital camera, which had 12 million pixels and 3x optical zoom, and cost him over 3,000 yuan.

The black camera body is heavy, and when you wear it around your neck, you look like a professional photographer.

Our first stop in the afternoon was the Puppet Manchukuo Palace Museum.

Tickets are 40 yuan, half price for students.

Lin Feng pulled out four student IDs. The ticket seller glanced at them, then looked at Liu Chengcheng: "Are these yours?"

The photo was taken when Liu Chengcheng was in her first year of high school. Her hair was so short that she looked like a tomboy. Now, she has long hair and looks completely different.

Liu Chengcheng tilted her head: "It's me! It's the real deal."

The ticket seller laughed, "This photo looks like your younger brother."

Liu Chengcheng laughed too, "I think you look more like your father!"

The ticket seller's smile vanished instantly.

But what they said makes sense. If he were like someone else, his father wouldn't agree either. It just sounds so awkward.

The Puppet Manchukuo Palace was smaller than Raymond Lam had imagined. With its yellow exterior walls and gray roof, it looked more like an office building from the Republican era than a palace.

Entering through the main gate is the Qinmin Building, where Puyi worked. On the second floor, there is a conference room with tables arranged in a square shape and covered with green cloth.

The tour guide said this is where Puyi held the State Council meetings of the puppet Manchukuo regime, which were held more than two hundred times.

Song Yan casually asked, "Don't you feel cramped sitting here during the meeting?"

Lin Feng smiled faintly: "How can you not feel stifled when you're a puppet?"

Jixi Building was the bedroom of Puyi and Wanrong. Wanrong's bedroom had light blue wallpaper, an old-fashioned telephone and lamp on the bedside table, and a mirror on the dressing table that was polished to a shine.

The tour guide said that Wanrong lived here for thirteen years, then went mad and was locked on the east side of the second floor, isolated from the outside world.

Our second stop in the afternoon was Jingyuetan National Forest Park.

They boarded the open-top sightseeing bus as soon as they entered, and the wind blew in, making their hair fly wildly.

Song Yan's skirt was blown up by the wind. She held down the hem with one hand and adjusted her hat with the other, looking like Marilyn Monroe.

Lin Feng raised his camera and snapped a picture.

Song Yan glared at him: "Delete it!"

"I won't delete it, it looks good."

"What's so good about it? It looks like a hippo opening its mouth."

"Even a hippo looks good when it opens its mouth."

Jingyuetan is known as the largest man-made forest in Asia, covering more than 60 square kilometers and consisting entirely of trees.

Pine trees, cypress trees, larch trees, tall and short, thick and thin, stretch as far as the eye can see.

The sightseeing bus travels along the lakeside, with the lake on the left and the forest on the right. The air is filled with the scent of pine resin, and each breath feels cool and refreshing.

At each viewpoint, the four of them got out of the car, and Raymond Lam started taking pictures of his three girlfriends, striking quite professional poses.

Their team has attracted a lot of attention.

A young couple was also taking pictures; the man kept glancing at Song Yan and Liu Chengcheng, muttering to himself:

"That kid's got some lucky ladies!"

His girlfriend overheard this and said coldly, "What? Are you jealous?"

The man nodded subconsciously, then quickly shook his head: "No, no, why would I envy that!"

The girl glared at him: "Look at yourself! Only I, blind as I am, would be with you. Humph..."

Around six o'clock, it started to get dark.

Lin Feng drove them to the Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun's most prestigious five-star hotel.

The uniformed doorman, wearing white gloves, nodded and smiled as he opened the door, saying in Mandarin with a Northeastern accent, "Good evening, welcome to Shangri-La."

Lin Feng walked to the front desk and took out his ID card.

"Are there any rooms available?" Lin Feng asked.

The receptionist smiled and said, "Sir, what type of room would you like? We have superior rooms, deluxe rooms, executive suites, and presidential suites."

"How much is the executive suite?"

"The executive suite tonight is 3,280 yuan, including complimentary breakfast."

Lin Feng pulled out his wallet and took out a card with practiced ease. Song Yan whispered, "It's too expensive, let's get a cheaper one!"

Lin Feng laughed and said, "It's not expensive; comfort is what matters most."

Liu Chengcheng chimed in from the side, "That's right, good accommodations! Good food! Money's a bastard, we can earn more if we lose it!"

The receptionist smiled as she took the bank card, swiped it for pre-authorization, handed back two room cards, and placed her hands in front of her with textbook-perfect posture.

"The executive suite is on the 22nd floor; turn left after taking the elevator. Breakfast is served at the coffee shop on the second floor from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Please call the front desk if you require an extra bed."

The four people took their room keys and went up the elevator.

The executive suite is at the end of the 22nd floor, with two doors: an inner wooden door and an outer fire door.

Lin Feng swiped his card, and the four of them went inside, then paused for a moment.

The living room was bigger than I had imagined. The sofa was made of off-white genuine leather, and there were fresh flowers and a welcome fruit platter on the coffee table.

The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of Changchun's nightscape, where distant neon lights and nearby streetlights blend together, illuminating half the city in a play of light and shadow.

Liu Chengcheng ran over and peered out the window: "Wow... you can see so far from here."

Song Yan walked around the living room, then pushed open the door on the left. There was the master bedroom, with a two-meter-long bed covered with snow-white sheets and duvet covers.

She then pushed open the door on the right, which led to the second bedroom. The bed was 1.5 meters wide, a little small, but very tidy.

Liu Jiaqi stood in the middle of the living room, looking around before her gaze finally settled on Lin Feng: "How are you going to sleep tonight?"

Raymond Lam grinned mischievously: "Hehe...of course I'll be the one cuddling you guys while we sleep."

Liu Jiaqi sneered, "You wish!"

Liu Chengcheng said with a mischievous smile, "You've been driving all day, aren't you tired? You just got into university, don't die in bed."

Song Yan blushed and said, "Exactly, why don't you just fly to the moon?"

Lin Feng realized he couldn't possibly out-argue three people, so he shrugged and said, "Fine then! I'll sleep in the second bedroom."

Liu Jiaqi pointed to the ground, "The living room is the boundary river; no one can cross it."

Raymond Lam nodded. "Okay!"

But in his heart he thought, "Hmph! You'll all give in one day. I'm pretty tired these past few days, so I'll let you off the hook and get some rest for the night."

Liu Chengcheng pulled her suitcase into the master bedroom, followed by Song Yan and Liu Jiaqi. The door to the master bedroom was not closed, and the three girls were having a heated discussion inside about who should sleep in the middle.

At 7:30, the family of four went downstairs for a Western meal.

In the Western restaurant, knives and forks were arranged in two rows, and the glass reflected the candlelight.

Song Yan opened the menu and exclaimed in surprise when she saw the first line: "One hundred and twenty-eight for a steak? A steak in Huanan is only twenty-eight!"

Liu Jiaqi laughed and said, "You think that's steak? It's more like beef slices at best."

Liu Chengcheng pointed to the menu and said, "I want this lobster bisque; it looks delicious."

Song Yan said, "This small portion costs forty-eight yuan."

Liu Chengcheng said nonchalantly, "Anyway, Brother Feng is paying."

Finally, Raymond Lam ordered a table full of dishes: four Australian grain-fed sirloin steaks, four lobster bisque, one salmon and avocado salad, and four black truffle lava cakes.

The waiter bowed and asked, "Sir/Madam, how would you like your steak cooked?"

The three girls were completely baffled by the question.

Raymond Lam laughed and said, "I want them medium-rare, but give them medium-well!"

Raymond Lam was worried they wouldn't like it too rare, but well-done steaks are too tough to chew. So he ordered it medium-rare for them.

The steak was served on a large plate with a small steak, topped with black pepper sauce, and the presentation was so exquisite it looked like a painting.

The meal for four people, including a 15% service charge, cost a total of 1108.

Lin Feng took out his card and handed it over without even blinking.

Song Yan exclaimed, "My God! We spent almost two thousand yuan in one day! Lin Feng, do you have a grudge against money?!"

Raymond Lam laughed and said, "I'm happy to spend money on you guys."

Liu Chengcheng patted Lin Feng on the shoulder: "I like hearing that. Say it more often in the future."

The four returned to their room, and the three girls huddled in the master bedroom, seemingly discussing something.

Suppressed laughter drifted from the crack in the master bedroom door, occasionally punctuated by phrases like "No way," "You take your clothes off," and "Why should I go first."

After a while, Liu Chengcheng's voice came from the living room: "Brother Feng, come out and play cards!"

Lin Feng came out excitedly. The three girls were already sitting on the living room carpet, surrounded by a pile of clothes, like a clothing stall.

"What do you play?" Lin Feng asked.

Liu Chengcheng said confidently, "In 50K, the loser has to take off their clothes."

Lin Feng was taken aback: "Are you sure?"

"OK. Take them off one by one."

Raymond Lam clapped his hands: "Come on! No sore losers here!"
