Huayu: Starting with binding the front desk

Chapter 14 Establishment of Qinghe Entertainment

The time came to October 2016, 8.

Over the past year, Wang Zhe's career has officially gotten on track.

In addition to continuing his high school studies, he also starred in the second season of "Whirlwind Girl".

The OSTs from the show that were later played on repeat included "Falling in Vain," "Impulse," "That Distant Place," and "If I Could."

Wang Zhe's name is also listed in the lyrics and music section. He sang "Falling in Vain" and "Impulse" himself, while the other two songs were given to other people to sing by the production team, but the copyright still belongs to Wang Zhe.

If they want to perform commercial shows, they need to pay Wang Zhe a licensing fee for each show.

Then in June, the production team of "Love O6O" also invited him to do the OST.

Just like in the previous life, the production team initially approached Wang Sulong, but his asking price did not meet their expectations. Just as they were about to discuss further, the lead actor Yang Yang recommended Wang Zhe to the production team.

However, the most fundamental reason why the production team chose Wang Zhe was because his price was low.

In addition, he has now reached the level of "top-tier" popularity, and singing the theme song itself can attract traffic.

Thus, the production rights for the OST of "Love O2O" were also handed over to Wang Zhe.

Wang Zhe naturally wouldn't refuse.

As for what songs he wants to create, he thinks that Wang Sulong's "A Smile That Captivates a City," "A Little Sweet," "A Slight Smile That Captivates a City," and "The Next Second" from his previous life are pretty good.

As a reborn individual, he didn't feel any psychological pressure about it; whatever I created first, it was mine.

Besides, how can something done by intellectuals be called plagiarism? It's clearly borrowing.

Wang Zhe also added "Weiwei," a song he had previously written for Tian Xiwei, which was also quite suitable, so he packaged them together and gave them to the "Love O2O" production team.

The package price is only 35, which is half the price quoted by Wang Sulong.

Even the singers don't need to be contacted by the production team; Qinghe Entertainment handles everything.

Of course, the copyright of the songs still belongs to Qinghe Entertainment, and the production company only has the right to use them with the drama.

As for Qinghe Entertainment, it was a company jointly established by Wang Yuejin and Uncle Song, with the meaning of being as gentle as the wind and as fertile as seedlings facing the sun.

Finally, the two parties agreed that Uncle Song would invest 40% and hold 20% of the shares.

The remaining 80% of the shares are jointly held by Wang Yuejin and his wife Xu Ying.

This ratio is Wang Zhe's bottom line. He is a reborn person and has a system. He cannot hand over the control to someone else, even if that person may become his father-in-law in the future.

As for why he wanted his parents to hold onto 80% of the shares, besides absolute control, it was also to prepare for future financing, but of course, that's another story.

Uncle Song didn't have much of an objection to this. He wasn't an insider to begin with, and he wanted to set up this company purely to pave the way for Wang Churan. The shares he held would also be transferred to Wang Churan in the future.

After Qinghe Entertainment was established, the first artist it signed was Wang Zhe, and the second was naturally Wang Churan.

The current company is just a shell; it's actually still Wang Zhe's original personal studio, only now it's expanded from a small group of a few people to more than a dozen.

Wang Churan and Wang Zhe are still students, so they only need what they have.

However, after Tian Xiwei learned that Wang Zhe had established a talent agency, she insisted on signing with him, and her parents were also worried about her signing with a company so casually.

Because of Wang Zhe's maternal grandmother's connection, they also wanted Tian Xiwei to sign with Qinghe.

And so, Tian Xiwei became Qinghe's third artist.

In this life, Tian Xiwei did not choose to go to the Shanghai Theatre Academy because of Wang Zhe.

After the college entrance exam results came out, she asked Wang Zhe which school he was going to. After confirming it was the Beijing Film Academy, she filled in the Beijing Film Academy as her first choice when filling out her college application after the college entrance exam.

After this summer vacation, she will be a freshman in the 16 class of Beijing Film Academy.

Of these five OSTs, only the ending theme song "Love O2O" is sung by Yang Yang; the singers for the other four songs need to be arranged by Qinghe Entertainment itself.

Wang Zhe sang the theme song "A Smile That Could Topple a City" solo.

In "A Little Sweet," Wang Zhe gave the female parts to Tian Xiwei and Wang Churan, and the three sang together; "Slightly" was originally written for Tian Xiwei, so she sang it solo; and "The Next Second" was given to Wang Churan.

Although neither of the girls are pursuing a career as singers, their two sweet songs are already labeled as OSTs, not particularly difficult, and catchy. With Wang Zhe's assistance, the finished products came out smoothly.

The production team of "Love O2O" is very satisfied with the finished product, as it perfectly matches their storyline.

During the summer vacation, after recording a song in Changsha, neither of the two girls mentioned going home. Since there were still more than half a month of vacation left, and Wang Zhe's birthday was coming up soon, the two girls simply stayed at Wang's house.

That morning, Xu Ying, with her slightly protruding belly, saw Tian Xiwei, who had just gotten up and come out.

"Xiaotian, go wake Wang Zhe up. It's his birthday today, why is he sleeping in?"

Tian Xi rubbed her big eyes and replied crisply, "Okay, Aunt Xu, should we call Bai...E Wang Churan up too?"

"What lazybones! I had to wake them up for breakfast."

Just as Xu Ying finished speaking, Wang Cheran walked out of the doorway where Tian Xiwei had just come out.

"Auntie, I'm not lazy!" she said, glaring at Tian Xiwei.

Tian Xiwei ignored her, pouted, and walked straight to Wang Zhe's bedroom.

She entered the room and saw the person on the bed wrapped in a summer blanket like a cicada pupa, with the air conditioner set to 16 degrees Celsius.

Tian Xiwei first picked up the remote control and turned off the air conditioner, then immediately ripped off Wang Zhe's blanket.

"With the temperature so low, you'll freeze to death!"

Wang Zhe suddenly woke up and saw Tian Xiwei standing in front of the bed. He quickly pulled the blanket back to cover his bare upper body.

"You're a female hooligan!"

"It's not like you've never seen it before, why are you getting shy?"

Tian Xiwei stood with her hands on her hips, looking at Wang Zhe with a mischievous grin.

Last year, Wang Zhe still had some baby fat on his face, but now he has completely grown up. His face has become thinner and more defined, and his features are more distinct. Although he still has a bit of immaturity, he already looks like a tall and handsome young man.

"Didn't I tell you not to come into my room without permission?" Wang Zhe looked at Tian Xiwei with annoyance.

Tian Xiwei, hands on her hips, said matter-of-factly, "Aunt Xu asked me to call you for dinner, does that mean you can just walk in?"

She casually grabbed the crumpled T-shirt from the gaming chair and threw it at his face. "Hurry up and put it on. You're so skinny, who cares about looking like that?"

After saying that, she turned and left, her ponytail swinging behind her.

Wang Zhe took the T-shirt and began to regret agreeing to let her move into his home.

When Tian Xiwei arrived in the living room, Wang Churan had already set out the bowls and chopsticks.

When she saw Xu Ying carrying the porridge, she quickly ran over and took it from her. "Aunt Xu, let me help you."

Wang scoffed and muttered under her breath, "A show-off..."

She then got up and went to the kitchen to get some side dishes; she couldn't let this "Tian Dabing" only show off in front of her aunt.

Xu Ying sat down, gently supporting her belly, and watched with a smile as the two girls bustled back and forth, glancing at one and then at the other.

She likes both of them very much, and doesn't know which one will be her future daughter-in-law.
