The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

"Currently, your department has identified several potential mentors. What were their responses?"

Lin Bufan looked at Sun Jinghai.

Since the program was handed over to the variety show department, Lin Bufan has hardly paid any attention to it, so naturally he is not very clear about this issue.

"When it comes to choosing a mentor, Liu Huan is our first choice."

Lin Bufan nodded slightly. Liu Huan's fame and status in the industry are undeniable, so it's understandable that the variety show department would want to invite him.

Furthermore, Liu Huan has already agreed to join the "The Voice of China" program team.

Now, Sun Jinghai faces the challenge of finding mentors for the show. In terms of status, they absolutely cannot be lower than Liu Huan, or rather, a little lower is acceptable, but not too much lower.

Moreover, the four mentors cannot all be male; there must also be a female mentor.

"Just tell me, who have you taken a fancy to?"

Lin Bufan glared at Sun Jinghai.

Clearly, the other party was going in circles, trying to convince him that he hadn't settled things and was hoping he would step in to help.

"Queen and Princess".

Sun Jinghai chuckled and gave a name.

In the music industry, there are actually not many female singers who can rival Liu Huan, and Wang Fei is one of them.

In fact, the production team had already spoken with the princess, but she rejected them outright.

On the company's side, there is a signed singer who was once a diva, and even the queen of sweet songs, Yang Yuying, who was popular all over the country. Unfortunately, she has not been able to make a comeback in recent years, so she can't compare to the princess.

"No, wait a minute!"

Lin Bufan stared at Sun Jinghai with wide eyes: "If I remember correctly, the Princess Consort is still pregnant, isn't she?"

He vaguely remembered that the princess was now married to Li Yapeng and was pregnant; it seemed the child was born this month.

"Hehe, yes!"

Sun Jinghai chuckled and nodded, then hurriedly said, "But boss, I've already inquired, and the princess is nearing her due date and could give birth at any time."

"Do you think people don't need to observe postpartum confinement after giving birth?"

Lin Bufan glanced at Sun Jinghai speechlessly.

"The show won't start filming for a while yet. I was thinking that by the time filming starts, the princess should have finished her postpartum confinement. At the very least, the production team can wait until she finishes her confinement before starting filming."

The princess is a superstar. As long as she agrees to join the program as a mentor, he would be willing to wait not only a month, but even two or three months.

"Besides the princess, does your production team have any other candidates?"

Lin Bufan wasn't confident he could persuade the princess, since he wasn't familiar with her and given her current status, it wouldn't be as simple as just paying her a higher appearance fee.

"have!"

Sun Jinghai nodded.

The production team most wanted to choose a princess, but they couldn't be without alternatives.

Han Hong, Na Ying, Zhang Huimei, and others, although not as famous as the princess, are not far behind. If all else fails, we will have to choose one of them.

"I'll ask around about the Princess."

Lin Bufan said, looking at Sun Jinghai, "Is it just Wang Fei, and no one else?"

"Boss, could you please invite the God of Songs to come?"

Sun Jinghai asked tentatively.

If we could get the legendary singer Zhang Xueyou to participate, he guarantees that "The Voice of China" would have explosive ratings.

"Do I look like a singing legend?"

Lin Bufan glared at him, annoyed.

Are you kidding me? You want him to invite Zhang Xueyou?

The other party can easily earn as much as a variety show by holding just one concert.

Lin Bufan was confident in getting the other person to act, but he had no confidence at all in getting them to be a teacher on a TV show.

"Boss, if we don't have a singing legend, Andy Lau or Emil Chau will do..."

"Alright?"

Lin Bufan was too lazy to even talk to the other party.

"Alright, just tell me, is it enough to only finalize things with Liu Huan right now?"

"yes!"

Sun Jinghai answered very decisively.

The production team unanimously agreed that Liu Huan was the first choice for mentor. If he agreed, they would find someone of the same caliber as Liu Huan.

If Liu Huan does not agree, then they can only settle for second best and find someone of a lower caliber.

After Sun Jinghai left, Lin Bufan thought for a moment, then picked up the phone and called Huo Wenxi.

He wasn't familiar with the princess either. After thinking it over, he realized that among all the people he knew, the only one he could talk to was Huo Wenxi.

The princess debuted in Hong Kong, so Emperor Entertainment must have people familiar with her.

……

With the help of an intermediary, Lin Bufan met the princess the next day. However, the meeting place was at the hospital, and when he saw her, she was heavily pregnant and almost about to give birth.

"Mr. Lin, I'm very sorry. As you can see, I'm in a bad situation. Even if I wanted to help you, I'm powerless to do so." The princess looked at Lin Bufan, smiled apologetically, and shrugged.

Huo Wenxi had already told Lin Bufan his purpose, and the princess agreed to meet with Lin Bufan in person only because of Huo Wenxi.

"Ms. Wang, I know it's presumptuous of me to invite you to participate in the program at this time, but I still have to say it."

Lin Bufan ignored the princess's refusal and looked at her earnestly: "Princess, I guess you know that the Korean wave is currently all the rage. As a queen of the Chinese music scene, I don't think you want the Korean wave to surpass the Chinese music scene!"

"What does this have to do with whether I participate in your show or not?"

The princess frowned slightly.

As Lin Bufan said, as a queen of the Chinese music scene, the princess naturally does not want the Korean wave to run rampant, as that would be too shameful.

"Of course it's related."

Lin Bufan said with a serious expression, "Our program is called 'The Voice of China,' and it's dedicated to searching for beautiful voices from the public..."

"Most importantly, our show has no behind-the-scenes manipulation, and we don't care about looks; we only rely on talent to win."

Looking at "The Voice of China" in later years, it can be said that a program that could have become a classic was ruined.

The show involved all sorts of shameless and unethical practices, and there was a lot of behind-the-scenes manipulation.

Gradually, they lost their reputation; otherwise, all the fame they had built up in the previous seasons of "The Voice of China" would have been wasted.

What Lin Bufan needs to do is to eliminate all shady dealings and ensure that "The Voice of China" continues for a long, long time.

"No foul play involved?"

The princess looked at Lin Bufan with some surprise.

Having debuted in Hong Kong, she has heard and seen many singing competitions.

No matter how outstanding your skills are, the blame for winning or losing rests entirely with the cooking group and a few mentors.
