The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

"Mr. Lin, are we going straight to the film set?"

In the car, Huo Wenxi turned to look at Lin Bufan.

"No, let's go to Tseung Kwan O first!"

Lin Bufan shook his head slightly.

The film crew isn't in a hurry. He's already in Hong Kong. He'll go to Tseung Kwan O first to check if the seaside villa is ready for occupancy.

He also owns a villa in Repulse Bay, but he uses it to keep his mistresses Angela Yang Ying and Wen Yongshan hidden away.

It wouldn't be appropriate to take Wan Qian to stay at the villa in Repulse Bay again.

He needed to secure accommodation first. If the seaside villa in Tseung Kwan O was uninhabitable, he would book a hotel first and then go to the film set in time.

"OK!"

Huo Wenxi nodded, then started the car and drove towards Tseung Kwan O.

"Mr. Lin, Mr. Yang has learned that you are coming to Hong Kong and is preparing to host a welcome dinner for you tonight. What do you think?" Huo Wenxi asked while driving.

"Miss Huo, please tell Mr. Yang that we can skip the welcome dinner. I'm here purely for personal matters."

Lin Bufan shook his head slightly.

Before the last time, Lin Bufan was quite curious and intrigued about the so-called banquet.

However, after that, he discovered that the so-called banquet was nothing more than a gathering of people in the industry to flatter each other.

That's impressive. There are many big shots at the banquet; perhaps we can attract some investment or something.

However, Lin Bufan had no need for these so-called investments, so he naturally had no interest in hosting a banquet.

……

It took about two and a half hours for the car to reach Tseung Kwan O.

It's worth noting that Hong Kong's international airport is only about 30 kilometers away from Tseung Kwan O as the crow flies, and even if the road is a bit roundabout, it would definitely not exceed 50 kilometers.

The fact that it takes more than two hours to drive such a short distance shows just how congested Hong Kong's traffic is.

This is Lin Bufan's second time visiting Hong Kong.

Before visiting Hong Kong, he had a very positive view of the city through some Hong Kong movies, imagining it as a very prosperous place.

However, after visiting, I can only say that Hong Kong is still bustling, but the roads are somewhat narrow, and some roads are only two lanes wide.

"Mr. Lin..."

Huo Wenxi parked his car at the entrance of a luxury mansion and looked back at Lin Bufan.

"Miss Huo, you can just drive right in!"

As Lin Bufan spoke, he took out a key from his pocket and pressed it, and the door slowly opened.

'Just who is Lin Bufan? How did he end up buying another luxury mansion in Macau?' Huo Wenxi wondered as the car drove into the mansion.

That luxury mansion in Repulse Bay is quite valuable.

While the location of this luxury villa in Tseung Kwan O may not be as good as that in Repulse Bay, the villa occupies a large enough area to be worth almost as much as the villa in Repulse Bay.

Lin Bufan only gave the villa a brief tour.

"Miss Huo, could you please hire some Filipino maids to help me manage the villa..."

Lin Bufan turned around and returned to the living room to look at Huo Wenxi.

This villa is so big and luxuriously decorated. Since he doesn't have time to stay in Hong Kong all the time, he can only hire Filipino maids and housekeepers to keep the villa clean and tidy.

"Okay, Mr. Lin."

Huo Wenxi nodded.

As a native Hong Konger, this matter was utterly insignificant to her.

……

"Action!"

At this time, the "Ip Man" crew was in the midst of intense filming.

In Hong Kong, the filming speed is extremely fast, from directors to ordinary supporting actors and extras.

Just like the movie "Ip Man," it's only been filming for a short time, and it'll probably be finished in less than half a month.

During this period, Zhang Jin deeply felt the coldness and indifference of the world.

He used to be a nobody in the Hong Kong entertainment circle. Many times, even when he was just a martial arts instructor, many production teams would only do so because of his girlfriend, Choi Siu-fan.

Now, he has signed with Kyoto Entertainment, which is also one of the film's investors, and his treatment is much better than before.

In comparison, Wan Qian, who plays the female lead, is just an ordinary staff member from the director down to the crew, and no one dares to mess with her.

The other party is Lin Bufan's rumored girlfriend.

As for the information circulating online, is it true or false?

The fact that she was able to land the lead role in "Ip Man" and that there were no intimate scenes between them during filming is enough to prove everything.

Lin Bufan wouldn't stop his women from filming if they enjoyed it, but there was one condition: they absolutely could not film any scenes involving intimate contact.

"Cut! That scene is over. Get ready for the next scene. We'll start filming in ten minutes. Props, hurry up and move in..."

Director Ye Weixin, carrying a megaphone, moved around the film crew.

"Boss..."

"Director Lin!"

"Mr. Lin!"

Just then, a commotion came from the entrance of the film crew's office.

Ye Weixin looked over and saw Lin Bufan walking in from outside the film crew, so he quickly ran over.

Nowadays, almost everyone in the industry knows about the conditions Kyoto Entertainment offers for signing directors. Any director who wants to try their luck in Hollywood is now very interested in Kyoto Entertainment.

This includes Ye Weixin, who, given the opportunity, would certainly like to make movies in Hollywood.

It's not just about fame and fortune, but also about personal gain.

In Hollywood, a well-known director can directly receive a share of the box office revenue.

For example, Lin Bufan, despite only having one film, "Manchester by the Sea," won the Academy Award for Best Director.

If he were to accept roles in other productions, his minimum condition would be a share of the box office revenue exceeding 5%.

5% of 100 million US dollars is 5 million US dollars, and that's just the bare minimum. Converted to RMB, at the current exchange rate, it's at least 40 million RMB.

Even though Wilson Yip is a relatively well-known director, his salary for a film in Hong Kong is only one or two million Hong Kong dollars.

"Come on, distribute these things to everyone..."

Lin Bufan looked at his employees and gave them instructions.

The people who addressed Lin Bufa as "boss" just now were his own employees.

During the filming of "Ip Man," Lin Bufan also sent many of his company's employees to come and learn from him.

Undeniably, the Hong Kong entertainment industry is declining, but the rigor and efficiency of its staff at that time are something that people should learn from.

"husband……"

When Wan Qian saw Lin Bufan, she couldn't help but pounce on him in front of everyone.

Lin Bufan was in the capital, surrounded by women every day, living a life of revelry almost every night. But for Wan Qian, she hadn't seen Lin Bufan for almost two months.
