The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

After understanding what Bai Bing had said, Lin Bufan knew how to change the plot.

The plot remains almost unchanged.

China will also attend the meeting convened by the President of the United States, but in the later part of the movie, there will be a scene showing the Chinese representative leaving the meeting.

Unlike Western countries that chose to build Noah's Ark, China decided to launch Project Skyrockets.

Isn't it just an apocalyptic flood?

It's impossible to submerge the entire world. At least the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China, with an average altitude of over 4,000 meters, will definitely be safe.

China's "Sky-Supporting Plan" is very simple: mobilize the entire nation to build housing on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Naturally, the more housing the better, ideally enough to accommodate China's more than one billion people.

Meanwhile, 108 "sky-supporting pillars" were built around the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. These pillars are hundreds of meters in diameter and over a thousand meters high, constructed according to the terrain.

The purpose is to divert floodwaters and resist their impact during floods. Then, about 100 kilometers behind these towering pillars, a wall will be built to resist floods. Finally, a wall will be built around the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

This project is enormous, but given the speed at which China has been a construction powerhouse, it's not impossible to complete it.

The above is Lin Bufan's revised plot. Of course, these contents will not be shown in much detail in the movie; they will only be briefly mentioned during interactions between the main characters.

It reveals how various countries responded to this apocalyptic flood.

In fact, Lin Bufan didn't know whether his idea was correct or whether it had any scientific basis, but so what?

That aligns with the understanding of Chinese culture is enough.

Just like the later "The Wandering Earth," Hollywood's apocalyptic movies always feature a small group of people running away first. But in China, people would rather take the Earth with them on a journey. This can be considered the romance of Chinese science fiction movies.

"I wonder how the box office will fare after these plot changes..."

Lin Bufan leaned back in his chair and shook his head: "Forget it, I don't want to think about that anymore."

As long as the special effects shots are well-made and the plot is logically sound, it won't affect the box office.

If the revised version's box office performance surpasses the original, especially in the domestic film market, and if it's high enough, he might as well make a mainland version of "The End of the World" based on the "Skyrocket Project" from this movie, and maybe even create an apocalyptic series.

……

"Oh right, I forgot to check in these past two days..."

Lin Bufan glanced at the time; it was already August 9th.

"System, complete the registration!"

He hadn't checked in since the 7th, and according to the system, he could make up for three days, which was within the allowed period.

[Ding! Congratulations, host! Daily check-in has been successfully made up. You have received the following rewards: one bottle of Liuwei Emperor Pills (10 pills) + one bottle of Beauty and Nourishing Pills (10 pills) + 100 million US dollars.]

[Ding! Congratulations, host! Weekly check-in is now complete. You have received the following rewards: one bottle of Liuwei Emperor Pills (10 pills) + one bottle of Beauty and Nourishing Pills (10 pills) + 100 million US dollars + a skill upgrade scroll treasure chest + the song "Today You're Marrying Me"]

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have successfully made up for your missed check-in on the Autumn Equinox Festival, August 7th. You have received a reward: an Autumn Equinox Festival gift pack.]

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have successfully made up for your missed Ghost Festival (August 8th) sign-in. You have received a Ghost Festival gift pack as a reward.]

[Host, would you like to open the holiday gift pack?]

"Two more holiday gift packs?"

Lin Bufan was somewhat surprised.

Fortunately, he didn't miss it; otherwise, the two holiday gifts would not only be two movies, but also two properties, which could be worth hundreds of millions in the future if they were in good locations.

"Almost lost a billion..."

"Open the holiday gift pack!"

As for the rewards for daily and weekly sign-ins, Lin Bufan casually put them into his dimensional space, including the song "Today You're Going to Marry Me." He could simply hand it over to the music department after returning to China.

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have opened the Autumn Festival Gift Pack and received the following rewards: a script for the movie "The Message", a shop in Hong Kong Island, and an Aston Martin DB9.]

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have opened the Ghost Festival gift pack and received the following rewards: a script for the movie "Aftershock", a Yunshui Resort, and a Porsche 718.]

"The reward is so generous!"

Lin Bufan looked at the several items that appeared in front of him.

The movie "The Message" was originally produced by Huayi Brothers. It eventually grossed over 2.19 million yuan. However, the cast was quite large and the investment was considerable, so it was able to make a small profit.

The movie "Aftershock" is considered one of Feng Xiaogang's representative works. Released in 10, it grossed 6.4 million yuan at the box office with a total investment of 1.2 million yuan. Huayi Brothers not only earned box office revenue but also gained critical acclaim and pleased the higher-ups with this movie.

However, now that the film is in Lin Bufan's hands, Huayi Brothers has nothing to do with it anymore.

"Two more sports cars..."

Lin Bufan shook his head slightly and casually placed the key in the dimensional space.

He doesn't like sports cars, but he has many women who might like them. Rather than letting them gather dust, he might as well let them use them as toys.

Then, Lin Bufan picked up the information about the shop on Hong Kong Island and glanced at it.

The shop is located in Central, on the ground floor of a building. It has a single-floor area of over 130 square meters, which is not small but not big either.

Finally, there's the Yunshui Resort, located near Miyun Reservoir in Beijing.

"This resort..."

Lin Bufan opened the document and glanced at it; his eyes lit up instantly.

This resort is quite large, covering an area of over a hundred acres. The entire building is in Chinese style, including the layout and furnishings.

The housing prices near Miyun are actually not high; at this time, they are only around 1,000 yuan per square meter.

Based on the area, the land price of this resort is only 60 to 70 million yuan. The main reason is that the interior decoration is very expensive, at least three times the land price.

But more importantly, there's the approval process for this resort.

"Now we'll have somewhere to go for a six-day vacation in Beijing."

Lin Bufan thought to himself and casually put all the rewards into his dimensional space.

……

"Xiaobai, pour me a glass of water."

Lin Bufan was hunched over his desk revising the script. Filming for "2012" had already begun, and a day's suspension of trading would result in a loss of hundreds of thousands of US dollars.

If I hadn't figured out the reason before, that would have been fine, but now that I have, I naturally need to revise the script and plot as soon as possible.

"Okay, boss!"

As Xiaobai spoke, she turned around and went to pour water.

But just as she poured the water, a hand suddenly appeared beside her, blocking Bai Bing's way.

"Leave it to me!"

Fan Bingbing smiled and looked at Bai Bing, extending her hand.
