The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

"I've already spoken to Director Xu. I'll take a day off tomorrow and stay with you in Hengdian. We'll go to Hong Kong Island the day after tomorrow."

Lin Bufan put his arm around Liu Yifei and answered her question.

Going to Hong Kong was a trip Lin Bufan had planned long ago.

Since "Ip Man" finished its theatrical run, Emperor Entertainment Group has tried to meet with him more than once.

He knew very well that Emperor Entertainment had tasted success because of the success of "Ip Man" and wanted to continue working with him.

While Emperor Entertainment Group may have only earned 10 million yuan from the box office of "Ip Man," the box office performance directly boosted the company's market value by more than 300 million yuan.

Yang Shoucheng owns more than half of Emperor Entertainment Group's shares, so the film "Ip Man" earned him more than 100 million.

This is one of the advantages of being a listed company.

Often, some movies may not seem to make much money at the box office, but when reflected in the stock market, the profits can be substantial.

Why was Huayi Brothers able to grow into an insurmountable peak in the entertainment industry in later generations?

It's because it was the first listed company in the Chinese entertainment industry, and at its peak, its market value approached 100 billion.

Even if the two brothers made movies until they died, they wouldn't earn this much money. It's all because of the stock market results reflected in movies and other projects.

后世一部《哪咤》让光线的股票7天6次触及涨停 20%，8天涨幅260%。

This allowed Enlight Media, whose market value was originally less than 300 billion, to reach a peak market value of over 800 billion.

Although "Ne Zha" had a high box office, it was only a fraction of the stock market's revenue.

Moreover, Lin Bufan also had something to do when he went to Hong Kong Island this time.

……

The next day, following Lin Bufan's instructions, "Painted Skin" was to take a day off and filming would begin on the 3rd.

Lin Bufan spent the entire day accompanying Liu Yifei shopping.

On the morning of October 3rd, Lin Bufan set off, taking a private plane directly to Hong Kong.

"Little White, where are we?"

Before the plane took off, Lin Bufan called Bai Bing.

During the National Day holiday, Lin Bufan also gave Bai Bing two days off. Since the trip to Hong Kong was for official business, he naturally had to take her with him.

"Boss, I've arrived in Hong Kong, and the convoy is ready."

Bai Bing reported to Lin Bufan over the phone.

"Okay, I understand."

Lin Bufan said, then hung up the phone.

"I'm going to rest. Don't bother me unless it's absolutely necessary!"

After boarding the plane, Lin Bufan gave instructions to the three flight attendants and then went straight into the innermost lounge to get some rest.

A direct flight from Hengdian to Hong Kong takes just over an hour.

Just after the plane took off, Lin Bufan suddenly heard the sound of a door opening. He frowned slightly, opened his eyes, and looked in the direction of the door.

"What's the matter?"

Lin Bufan looked towards the door and saw Lin Ya come in.

"Boss..."

After closing the door behind her, Lin Ya looked at Lin Bufan with a hesitant yet resolute expression.

The next second, Lin Ya began to unbutton her uniform.

Lin Ya, Tang Lili, and Song Yao, being flight attendants on Lin Bufan's private jet, have uniforms that differ from those of China Eastern Airlines.

For some reason and idea, Tang Lili and Song Yao's flight attendant uniforms were rather sexy.

In comparison, Lin Ya's clothes were much more conservative than the two of them.

When Lin Ya took off her outer uniform and saw what the other person was wearing underneath, Lin Bufan really wanted to say that if anyone said that Lin Ya was conservative, he would definitely get angry with them.

The plane disappeared into the clouds.

……

"Tell me, what made you do this?"

Lin Bufan leaned against the headboard, looking at Lin Ya lying beside him.

Lin Bufan had naturally paid attention to this beautiful woman who shared his surname. She was very pretty and looked a bit like Kim Hee-seon, the Korean star who played the female lead in the movie "The Myth" with Jackie Chan.

She has a very sexy figure, but she has a husband and children.

Moreover, Lin Ya has never overstepped any boundaries in her words or actions.

There must be a reason why things suddenly turned out this way today.

"Boss, I'm sorry, I need money..."

Lin Ya lowered her head and explained to Lin Bufan.

She would never do this if everything in her life were going smoothly.

She and her husband met in college, and their relationship has been very good from graduation to working, getting married, and having children.

However, just a month ago, a car accident changed her life.

"Why!"

Lin Bufan listened to what Lin Ya said and shook his head helplessly.

Car accident, hospitalization...

Because of their mortgage and car loan payments, the two of them hadn't saved much money, so Lin Ya had no choice but to think of Lin Bufan.

How much money are you planning to spend?

Lin Bufan looked at Lin Ya in front of him, his gaze calm and composed.

Lin Bufan could only feel sorry for her situation, but he also needed to see if she was a greedy woman before making any further decisions.

"The doctor said that 100,000 yuan is enough for hospitalization. I have 30,000 yuan in my card now, so I only need 70,000 yuan." Lin Ya said, looking up at Lin Bufan.

"Seventy thousand?"

Lin Bufan frowned slightly, looking at Lin Ya: "Are you sure it's 70,000?"

"Fifty thousand is fine too!"

Lin Ya gritted her teeth. She could borrow the remaining 20,000 yuan from her relatives.

"Here's 100,000 yuan..."

Lin Bufan shook his head slightly, then pretended to take out ten stacks of banknotes from his bag, but actually from his dimensional space and placed them on the bed.

"Boss..."

Lin Ya looked at Lin Bufan with some surprise and excitement.

"listen to me!"

Lin Bufan interrupted the other person: "Not only now, but starting this month, I will give you 100,000 yuan every month. Do you understand what I mean?"

"I see!"

Lin Ya gritted her teeth and nodded.

Originally, she wanted to make a one-off deal, but considering her future life and the fact that Lin Bufan was giving her 100,000 yuan a month, she really had no reason to refuse.

"Good, the plane is about to land. Get ready first!"

As Lin Bufan spoke, he stood up and walked towards the restroom.

Just now, if Lin Ya had asked for too much, Lin Bufan would have given it to her, but only once. He would have replaced her after they got back.

But since Lin Ya is so clear about her own status, Lin Bufan doesn't mind taking care of another one.

It's only about 100,000 yuan a month, which is nothing to him.

In the future, whenever he takes a plane, he'll have someone to relieve his boredom—a win-win situation.

……

As soon as Lin Bufan stepped off the plane after it landed, a convoy of cars was already waiting for him at the airport.

The convoy consisted of five cars, with a two-tone Bentley Mulsanne in the middle. This was a sign-in reward from Lin Bufan and had been gathering dust in the garage.

Now, it has been transported to Hong Kong, and will become his means of transportation in Hong Kong.

The four Bentleys, including Cadillac Escalades and Lin Bufan's Bentley Mulsanne, were all modified bulletproof versions.

For Lin Bufan, valuing his life was his top priority.
