The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

"Boss, should we cancel the report?"

Bai Bing glanced tentatively at Lin Bufan.

She had witnessed the entire process of Chen Jinfei apologizing to Lin Bufan.

"Cancel?"

Lin Bufan sneered and waved his hand at Bai Bing: "Continue, do it the way you always have."

"Yes, boss!"

[Ding! Congratulations, host! Weekly check-in successful. Rewards: One bottle of Liuwei Emperor Pills (10 pills) + One bottle of Beauty and Nourishing Pills (10 pills) + 100 million US dollars + The song "Innocence"]

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have successfully checked in for the festival and received a reward: a Frost's Descent Festival Gift Pack]

[Host, would you like to open the Frost's Descent Festival Gift Pack?]

"Open!"

Lin Bufan did not hesitate at all.

It's that time of year again for holiday check-ins, and it just so happens to be the weekly check-in day.

Lin Bufan knew the song "Innocence," which was released by Avril Lavigne in 07. The Chinese title is "Innocence," and it's a relatively classic English song.

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have opened the Frost's Descent Festival Gift Pack and received the following rewards: a script for the movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth", a villa in Fucheng Garden, and an Audi TT sports car.]

"Another sports car!"

Lin Bufan casually put away the Audi TT sports car key and placed it into his dimensional space.

He had nothing to say about the car.

He wasn't particularly fond of sports cars, let alone a sports car like the Audi TT, which he disliked even more.

Fucheng Garden Villas is a project built in 97 and completed and delivered in 01, which is almost 5 years ago. The villa he signed for is a 1000-square-meter, six-bedroom, three-living-room fully furnished villa.

"Jesse could stay here!"

Lin Bufan's heart stirred.

Since filming wrapped on "2012", Jessica Alba has stayed in Beijing and has no plans to return to Los Angeles.

For Jessica Alba, the man she loves most is here, so there's no point in her going back to Los Angeles. Besides, because of her "uncooperative" attitude, she rarely gets acting offers now.

She was even less inclined to return to Los Angeles.

During this time, Jessica Alba has been staying in hotels, and Lin Bufan booked a presidential suite in a five-star hotel for her.

No matter how luxurious a hotel is, it can never be as comfortable as staying at home.

Now that the villa has been signed, it's perfect for arranging for Jessica Alba.

Last time, the villa where Lin Bufan signed in during the Mid-Autumn Festival was arranged for Fan Bingbing to live in.

Despite being known as one of the "Four Dan and Two Bing" actresses in China, Fan Bingbing hasn't actually earned much money. After all, we're not in the era of high salaries like we'll see in later years.

Nowadays, the salary for a movie is only a few hundred thousand yuan, while the salary for a TV series is calculated based on the number of episodes and shots. Fan Bingbing's price for one episode of a TV series is only tens of thousands of yuan.

Nowadays, TV dramas are generally around 20 episodes long. Even if Fan Bingbing plays the lead role, there will always be one or two episodes where she doesn't have any screen time, and these are not counted as pay.

Over the years, Fan Bingbing has only earned a few million, or even less than ten million.

Although she could buy a villa with this money based on current housing prices, she wouldn't have much working capital left after that.

Although she also lives in a villa, it is rented.

Therefore, after Lin Bufan signed the lease for Silver Lake Villa, he immediately arranged for Fan Bingbing to stay there.

After putting away the villa keys, Lin Bufan looked at the movie script.

The main plot of the movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth" is about a young geologist and his brother, who also studies geology, who went missing in 97 while exploring geology in Iceland, leaving behind a son.

Because of some illogical conjectures he put forward, the young geologist was questioned and isolated by academic scientists. So he decided to go to Iceland to investigate his theories, and at the same time, he took his taciturn nephew with him to Iceland to explore the whereabouts of his missing brother.

In Iceland, the geologist found a beautiful female scientist to be his guide, and the three of them, by chance, entered the Earth's core and began a series of challenges in unknown and dangerous places.

Simply put, this movie relies mainly on special effects; it's another special effects blockbuster.

If he remembered correctly, the movie grossed $270 million worldwide after its release, while its production cost was only $60 million.

In other words, this movie alone can earn at least 70 million US dollars at the box office, and with the addition of merchandise, it is conservatively estimated that it can bring Lin Bufan a profit of nearly 150 million US dollars or more.

Of course, apart from the $70 million in box office revenue, the remaining profits will need to be earned back little by little over time, which will take a long time, possibly two or three years, or even three to five years.

However, there is another point: this "Journey to the Center of the Earth" is a series, and the second "Journey to the Center of the Earth" grossed more than 3 million US dollars.

However, to date, Lin Bufan has more than twenty films that have not yet been filmed.

He had already decided that after acquiring Tencent shares from MIH, he would invest all the remaining money into film production and make money as quickly as possible.

Let's redeem AMC's shares from Morgan first.

Otherwise, if Lin Bufan cannot come up with the money by the end of the year, the AMC Theatres stock will no longer belong to him.

The loss of AMC Theatres stock would be a significant blow to Extraordinary Pictures.

.........

"Why did you decide to come to Shanghai?"

In the bedroom of the top-floor duplex in Tomson Riviera, Shanghai, Wan Qian turned around and lay on the bed, resting her chin on her hands, swinging her little feet, looking at Lin Bufan lying beside her.

I've come to see you!

As Lin Bufan spoke, he turned over and lightly slapped Wan Qian's shapely buttocks with his large hand: "You haven't come to Beijing for so long, so I had to come to Shanghai to see you."

"Hmph, you have so many women in the capital, losing one of me won't make a difference!"

Wan Qian gave a soft hum, then rolled over and lay on Lin Bufan's arm, looking up at him.

"You little jealous jerk..."

Lin Bufan gently pinched Wan Qian's nose, his face full of affection.

Of all his women, if we were to say who was the most jealous, it would definitely be Wan Qian.

"I'm making you jealous..."

Lin Bufan thought to himself, then turned over.
