The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

"For the TV series 'The Starry Night,' do you have any recommendations for the second and third male leads?"

On the way back, Lin Bufan turned his head to look at Bai Bing in the car.

Lin Bufan also wanted to train Bai Bing, since she had been with him for so long and he couldn't let her be his assistant and secretary forever.

Otherwise, if word gets out, it will be said that he mistreated his own people.

"Boss, I think He Shengming could play the role of Zhong Tianjun."

After thinking for a moment, Bai Bing turned to look at Lin Bufan.

Although Kyoto Entertainment's artist division was spun off and established as Kyoto Agency, the artists under that agency are still Kyoto artists.

In the past, if the boss gave the order, there was no question about it. But now that the person has been replaced, it's definitely more comfortable to use one of our own artists.

The company has five male artists under contract: Zhang Jin, Xie Miao, Deng Chao, Wang Baoqiang, and He Shengming. None of them, including Deng Chao, Zhang Jin, Wang Baoqiang, or Xie Miao, would lower themselves to play a so-called second male lead.

Mainly in terms of appearance, apart from Deng Chao, the others are not suitable for the role.

Finally, only He Shengming, a newcomer, remained. His appearance and temperament were perfect for playing the second male lead, the older brother of the main character.

"You're right!"

Lin Bufan nodded slightly.

Whether from the perspective of his image or the company's perspective, casting He Shengming as the second male lead is absolutely perfect.

"After you get back, go and inform General Manager Shen."

"Yes, boss!"

"Third male lead, do you have any good suggestions?"

In terms of familiarity with the company, Lin Bufan might not be as familiar as Bai Bing, since he is responsible for the company's overall direction, while Bai Bing is responsible for some detailed matters.

"Boss, what do you think of Luo Jin?"

Bai Bing hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"Did Old Zhu say something to you?"

Lin Bufan looked at Bai Bing in a calm tone.

"Um!"

When Lin Bufan asked her questions, Bai Bing didn't hide anything.

Luo Jin, Lin Bufan, and Zhu Yawen were all classmates at the Beijing Film Academy, along with Huang Bo.

However, Lin Bufan's relationship with Luo Jin was just so-so; during their time at school, he only had two good brothers, Zhu Yawen and Huang Bo.

But this is true for Lin Bufan.

Luo Jin was, after all, Zhu Yawen's classmate, and they usually had a fairly good relationship.

On one occasion, Luo Jin approached Zhu Yawen, who, unable to resist Luo Jin's request, subtly mentioned it when he met Bai Bing.

If there's a chance, could you recommend Luo Jin to Lin Bufan?

"That old Zhu..."

Lin Bufan shook his head helplessly.

Back in school, Lin Bufan was the most handsome student in the 02 class of Beijing Film Academy, while another strong competitor was Luo Jin.

There's no denying that Luo Jin is quite handsome.

Furthermore, Lin Bufan had never had any contact with Luo Jin, leading Zhu Yawen to believe that Lin Bufan and Luo Jin had a conflict, and therefore Lin Bufan would not mention Luo Jin in front of him.

"Let's give this role to Luo Jin!"

As Lin Bufan spoke, his gaze fell upon Bai Bing.

"Yes, boss!"

Tell me about yourself!

Lin Bufan suddenly changed the subject, looking at Bai Bing: "Now that the company is becoming a conglomerate, have you thought about which department you'll be going to, or perhaps a branch office?"

Before Kyoto Entertainment became a group and its departments were not separately established as subsidiaries, Shirai's idea was to go to the film production department.

However, Kyoto Entertainment has now begun to become a conglomerate, and even though its film production division has not yet been spun off into a separate subsidiary, it is only a matter of time.

Now it depends on what Bai Bing thinks: whether to stay at the group headquarters or go to a subsidiary.

"Boss, I..."

Bai Bing was about to speak when Lin Bufan interrupted her.

"Don't rush to make a decision. In the future, apart from the Human Resources Department, Finance Department, Publicity Department, Scriptwriting Department, and Crisis Public Relations Department, the other departments of the group will be established as separate subsidiaries when the time is right."

Although each subsidiary may have its own HR department, the main power definitely lies with the group, not to mention the finance department.

Even if subsidiaries are spun off in the future, the group will still be responsible for all their accounting matters. The finance departments of each subsidiary will be staffed by personnel from the headquarters' finance department and will rotate among the subsidiaries on an annual basis.

As for the publicity department, this department will absolutely not be established as a separate subsidiary.

Otherwise, it would be a waste of resources, so it's better to keep them at the group headquarters.

Needless to say, the screenwriting department is another story altogether.

In Lin Bufan's vision, the screenwriting department is the soul of the group, especially for film and television production departments, as well as variety show departments. Without a wonderful script, how can you make suspenseful movies and TV series, and even variety shows?

The Crisis Communication Department is now the Crisis Communication Team. When the time is right, it will naturally be promoted from a team to a department.

……

"Feed?"

On the set of "Crossing the Guandong", Zhu Yawen had just finished filming a scene and returned to his seat to rest when his phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and answered it immediately.

"Old Zhu, if you have any ideas in the future, you can tell me directly. You don't need to hint at them to Xiaobai."

Lin Bufan's voice came through the phone.

"Old Lin, I..."

"I know what you're thinking. I can only tell you that there is absolutely no conflict between Luo Jin and me, neither in public nor in private."

"Alright, I heard you're filming 'Crossing the Guandong,' so I won't say any more. Let's get together again when you're done filming."

"Oh, and there's one more thing. Tell Luo Jin to go directly to the set of 'The Starry Night' and tell the director that I sent him there for the third male lead."

"Okay, I understand!"

Zhu Yawen nodded solemnly.

After hanging up the phone, Zhu Yawen shook his head and smiled. Just as he was about to pick up the phone to dial a number, a voice suddenly came from the side.

"Brother Yawen!"

Zhu Yawen turned around and saw Song Jia, who played Xian'er, walking over with a big smile on her face.

"Song Jia, is something the matter?"

Zhu Yawen looked at Song Jia with a polite but somewhat distant expression.

"It's nothing, I just saw you on the phone and you mentioned 'Old Lin,' is that Director Lin?" Song Jia looked at Zhu Yawen with curiosity.

Before he could answer, she continued with an envious tone, "It must be Director Lin. Everyone in the industry knows that you and Director Lin are good brothers."

"Yawen, I know a good restaurant around here. Let's go eat there together after filming is over?"

After Song Jia finished speaking, she blinked her big eyes and looked at Zhu Yawen with an innocent expression.

"Sorry, my Yawen doesn't have time!"

As soon as the voice faded, Pan Yutong appeared beside Zhu Yawen.
