The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

Lin Bufan did not attend the opening ceremony of "Du Lala's Promotion Diary", but he arrived at the film crew after the press conference and before the official start of filming.

"Director Lin!"

Upon seeing Lin Bufan arrive, director and lead actress Xu Jinglei, along with An Yixuan, Wang Zhi, and He Shengming, came over.

The original version was directed and starred by Xu Jinglei, and this time it's the same.

However, Lin Bufan replaced all the other actors in the roles.

The role of the second female lead in the movie was originally intended for Mo Wenwei, but it has now been replaced by An Yixuan.

The third female lead, originally played by Wu Pei-Tzu from the Taiwanese entertainment circle, has been replaced by Wang Chih.

The male lead was originally a singer from Taiwan named Huang Lixing.

The principle remains the same: if our own company has suitable candidates, why look for outsiders? Among the artists currently signed with Kyoto Animation, He Shengming is the most suitable for this role.

In her previous life, Xu Jinglei and Huang Lixing sparked a romance because of this TV series. I wonder if things will be the same in this life with He Shengming…

Looking at He Shengming standing at the very back, Lin Bufan thought to himself with a touch of gossip.

"What kind of look is that, Director Lin..."

He Shengming was somewhat puzzled, but he didn't ask.

Lin Bufan stayed on set for a while, not wanting to delay the start of filming. Since An Yixuan didn't have any scenes in the first scene, he called him aside.

"Honey, I miss you so much..."

With no one around, An Yixuan threw himself into Lin Bufan's arms, his expression showing some dependence.

"I'll spend more time with you when I have more time in the future."

Lin Bufan gently patted An Yixuan's back to comfort him.

Come to think of it, the last time he saw An Yixuan was during the Mid-Autumn Festival, which was indeed a long time ago.

With so many women, it's inevitable that some oversights will occur sometimes...

Lin Bufan sighed inwardly.

As more and more women surrounded him, Lin Bufan felt that he had less and less time.

Moreover, although all these women received the same material treatment, he felt that they were somewhat different in his heart, though he wouldn't show too much favoritism.

"Looks like I'll have to ask Xiaobai to create a schedule for me when I get back..."

Lin Bufan thought to himself.

With more than ten women, and not all of them living together, he could only squeeze out a little time to spend with them when he had free time.

Just like An Yixuan, Lin Bufan would have forgotten that he hadn't seen him for over a month if the other party hadn't mentioned it.

Bai Bing: It's me again?

……

After filming for "Du Lala's Promotion Diary" began, Lin Bufan now only has one thing left to do, which is to audition for "Lust, Caution".

The male lead for "Lust, Caution" has been cast as Tony Leung Ka-fai, but apart from him, no other roles in the film have been finalized yet.

Before we knew it, it was November 28th.

"Boss, Mr. Liang Jiahui is here."

Bai Bing knocked on the door and came in to report from Kyoto Entertainment.

"Okay, take him to the audition room."

Lin Bufan nodded slightly.

There are so many roles in "Lust, Caution" that haven't been finalized yet. It's impossible to audition them all in one day. Today's auditions are for male roles: the second male lead, Kuang Yu-min; the third male lead, Lao Wu; and the fourth male lead, Liang Run-sheng.

The character Kuang Yu-min plays a very important role in the film. He is also the initiator of the assassination plan. He also has feelings for the woman, but he has to give up his love for the sake of his country.

In the original film, the role was played by Wang Lihong, but in Lin Bufan's opinion, the actor only portrayed the surface of the character, but not its soul.

That kind of human struggle is almost non-existent.

That's understandable, though. He's just a singer with no acting experience, so it's no wonder he couldn't play the role well. In fact, Lin Bufan thinks that if Li An hadn't been supporting actors and stars in the Taiwanese entertainment industry, this role wouldn't have fallen to Wang Leehom.

The third male lead, Lao Wu, is an underground worker for Chongqing. He is experienced and, more importantly, ruthless.

In the original storyline, this character was too cold-blooded, only concerned with whether the mission was completed, and completely disregarded the protagonist's mental state and life or death.

Lin Bufan felt that Li An had gone a bit overboard in his portrayal of the character and Mr. Yi.

The underground workers representing Chongqing were ruthless and indifferent to Wang Jiazhi's psychological changes and life or death; their only concern was the mission.

However, if he were in that era, as an underground worker, completing the mission would be the most important thing. It's not that he was cold-hearted and didn't care about the protagonist's life or death, but that he didn't even care about his own life or death. However, this point was not shown in the movie.

He was simply cold-blooded, only concerned with whether the mission was completed, as if killing Mr. Yi was just to help him get a promotion.

Both are spies, but Mr. Yi, whose hands are stained with blood, is portrayed by Li An as a flesh and blood character. Even though he personally ordered the killing of Wang Jiazhi, in the final scene of the film, he sits on the bed where Wang Jiazhi slept, shedding tears and displaying a complex expression.

What is Li An trying to express by filming a former Wang Jingwei regime spy chief in this way?

Lin Bufan declined to comment on this, but he certainly wouldn't express it that way in his film "Lust, Caution." What he wanted to portray was the exploration of the understanding and struggles of human nature within the film.

As for the fourth male lead, he is actually the simplest character.

The only highlight is that he took the female lead Wang Jiazhi's virginity.

The auditions for the roles of the second, third, and fourth male leads were conducted by Lin Bufan, Liang Jiahui, and Shen Ao.

Liang Jiahui is the male lead, and Lin Bufan had already given him the script long ago. After so much time, Lin Bufan believed that Liang Jiahui must have his own thoughts on the role.

As for the Olympic bid, it was Lin Bufan who brought him over to help.

After these three roles have been auditioned, Shen Ao will be asked to audition for the remaining supporting roles with fewer scenes.

Since filming "Lost in Thailand" was completed, Shen Ao has been resting, waiting for the movie to be released, which is the perfect opportunity to bring him over to help him.

Many actors from the industry attended the audition for "Lust, Caution".

However, since today's audition is for male roles, the Kyoto Entertainment staff are almost entirely male celebrities, with the extra women being either assistants or managers.

"Old Wang, you're here too?"

Zhu Shimao looked at Wang Zhiwen, who was queuing in the crowd waiting for his audition, with some surprise.

"You came too!"

Wang Zhiwen glanced at Zhu Shimao, who had just arrived, and replied dismissively.

The two have been friends for many years.

"You came here for the role of Lao Wu, right?"

As Zhu Shimao spoke, he sat down next to Wang Zhiwen and looked at him.
