The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

"Director Lin!"

When Lin Bufan arrived at the set of "Difficult Love", director Zhang Xiaoguang, along with male lead Deng Chao and female lead Che Xiao, waited for him at the entrance of the set.

As soon as Lin Bufan got out of the car, Zhang Xiaoguang walked up to him.

Zhang Xiaoguang initially rose to the ranks of top directors in the industry with his film "A Meter of Sunshine," but in the following two years, his works were progressively worse, causing him to fall back into the ranks of second-rate directors.

Without good scripts, there are naturally no investors.

As it turned out, Kyoto Entertainment approached him at this time, ready to sign him. He wasn't stupid; it's good to have a powerful backer.

Moreover, it's the Kyoto Group, a giant corporation.

Without hesitation, Zhang Xiaoguang signed with Kyoto Entertainment, becoming a C-level contract television director.

Currently, Kyoto Entertainment has only seven contracted directors: Xu Ke, Shen Ao, Ning Hao, Hong Tao, Zhang Ting, Shang Jing, and Zhang Xiaoguang.

Xu Ke, Shen Ao, and Ning Hao are all B-level contracted directors who have signed film contracts and are responsible for filming movies.

Hong Tao signed a contract as a variety show director, responsible for the variety show "The Voice of China," and is a B-level contracted director.

Zhang Ting, Shang Jing, and Zhang Xiaoguang all signed television drama contracts to film television dramas. The difference is that Zhang Ting and Shang Jing signed B-level contracts, while Zhang Xiaoguang signed a C-level contract.

Besides the signing fee, the most important difference between B-level and C-level contracts lies in profit sharing.

TV series directors with a B-type contract receive not only their director's fee but also 5% of the series' profits. Directors with a C-type contract only receive their director's fee and do not receive any profit share.

Of course, contracts are not static.

If Zhang Xiaoguang meets the requirements someday, he can change his C visa to a B visa, and he will not be subject to the contract term limit.

The simplest point is that as long as Zhang Xiaoguang can produce three TV series with a viewership rating of over 5%, he can directly change his contract from C to B.

That's why he took the filming of "Difficult Love" very seriously, just wanting to get the company's B-signing contract as soon as possible.

"Director Lin, let me introduce you. This is Deng Chao, the male lead of the TV series, and this is Ms. Che Xiao, the female lead..."

Lin Bufan got out of the car, and Zhang Xiaoguang stood aside to introduce him.

Deng Chao was already familiar with him. After nodding, he looked at Che Xiao beside him.

Che Xiao is not the kind of actress who can immediately impress people; her appearance and temperament are of the cool and aloof type.

Born into a family of performers, her beauty is a blend of coolness and aloofness, yet also gentle elegance, giving people a clean and ethereal feeling. She has a tall and slender figure and delicate features.

Lin Bufan's deepest impression of her, besides the school beauty Lin Yuxin in "Difficult Love", was the role of the rich and beautiful Xu Ruoyun in "The Big Man Gets Married".

The role of Xu Ruoyun is a perfect fit for her. She has an outstanding temperament and is elegant and dignified. It can even be said that this role was tailor-made for her.

However, Che Xiao still looks somewhat young.

"Director Lin, hello!"

Che Xiao stood in front of Lin Bufan, her movements still showing a hint of restraint and unease.

After all, the two were from vastly different backgrounds. She was just a minor actress in the industry who had been incredibly lucky to land the lead role in this TV series. When she first received the news and the script, she could hardly believe it.

The other party is an internationally renowned director who has won the Hollywood Best Director award and holds the domestic box office record.

The Kyoto Entertainment Group he founded is a leading, even top-tier, entertainment company in the industry.

If she is a minor actress in the industry, and the other party is an undisputed big shot in the industry, and a big shot among big shots.

"Hello, Ms. Che Xiao!"

Lin Bufan reached out and shook hands with Che Xiaoqian briefly.

Today marks the wrap-up day for "Difficult Love." Lin Bufan stands behind the monitor, watching Zhang Xiaoguang film, nodding occasionally.

Undeniably, Zhang Xiaoguang is capable; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to produce such a good TV series as "A Meter of Sunshine."

What he lacked was a good script, which happened to be exactly what Kyoto had in abundance.

"Click!"

"I now announce that filming is complete..."

Lin Bufan did not attend the wrap party; if he had gone, he would have stolen Zhang Xiaoguang's thunder.

"Ms. Che Xiao, have you signed with a company?"

Lin Bufan looked at Che Xiao.

It would be impossible for Lin Bufan to say that he had no feelings for Che Xiao, but he also knew that he couldn't win Che Xiao over like Zhang Xinyi did by simply beckoning her with a finger.

It always takes time to win someone over.

"not yet……"

Che Xiao shook her head. She was originally from the Navy Political Department, but recently Huayi Brothers has been contacting her. She hasn't decided yet whether to sign with Huayi Brothers.

Since Lin Bufan broke ties with Huayi Brothers, although Huayi Brothers has been suppressed by the industry, it still has powerful backers, especially the huge financial support from the old guard. Now it has almost recovered and has launched many projects.

If Kyoto Animation is considered a top-tier entertainment company in the industry, then Huayi Brothers is now also among the first-tier entertainment companies in the industry.

However, she knew about the conflict between Kyoto and Huayi Brothers, so she didn't mention it.

"If Ms. Che Xiao is interested in signing a contract, she might consider signing with Kyoto Entertainment..."

As Lin Bufan spoke, he took out his business card and handed it to her: "If Miss Che Xiao makes a decision, you can take my business card and go directly to Jingyi to find Shen Xiuying."

Jingyi Xingyao Culture Co., Ltd. is the artist division that was spun off from the Kyoto Entertainment Group.

"Thank you, Director Lin!"

After accepting the business card, Che Xiao watched Lin Bufan get into his car and leave.

"If I were you, I would choose Kyoto Entertainment."

As soon as the car left, Deng Chao walked out from the side and stood next to Che Xiao, looking at her: "President Wang of Huayi is not so easy to deal with. Almost all the actresses signed with Huayi do not accompany others for drinks. But Kyoto Entertainment is different. The company never requires its actors to attend any drinking parties."

From their interaction just now, he could obviously tell what Lin Bufan thought of Che Xiao.

Of course, what he said was true; don't forget that he initially signed with Huayi Brothers.

However, if you think that Huayi Brothers only makes its female stars accompany clients for drinks, you are sorely mistaken. Not only female stars, but male stars are also subject to this fate.

Thinking of some rumors, Deng Chao shook his head with lingering fear.

Some big shots in the industry are really perverted; they don't just play around with women, they also prey on men.
