The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

Before we knew it, it was August 27th. The Venice International Film Festival was opening on the 29th of this month. As a film nominated for the main competition, "Lust, Caution" had already sent people from Kyoto to the film festival.

The main task was setting up the screening venue and a series of related matters.

The film crew doesn't need to arrive too early, but they also can't arrive too late.

Fortunately, Lin Bufan has a private plane, so he only needs to apply for routes that pass through the airspace of other countries to fly directly. Otherwise, there are currently no direct flights from China to Venice.

To fly to Venice, you need to transit through other countries, and with transit time, the total journey is expected to take between 18 and 22 hours.

Lin Bufan has a private plane. As long as he obtains domestic and destination take-off and landing permits, and the destination is Venice, he needs to apply to the Venice Civil Aviation Authority.

To apply for the right to fly over the airspace of all countries along the route of a private aircraft, an application is required for each country whose airspace is crossed individually.

This process is expected to take about half a month.

Of course, China Eastern Airlines had already applied for and received approval about two weeks ago; it was just a matter of spending more money.

The total flight time from Beijing to Venice is approximately 11 hours.

"Director Lin!"

This is the first time everyone has met since filming wrapped on "Lust, Caution".

Inside the VIP waiting hall of Beijing Capital International Airport, Liang Jiahui (male lead), Dong Jie (female lead), Pan Yueming (male second lead), Sun Yiyi (male fourth lead), and Xue Kaiqi (female third lead) arrived before Lin Bufan.

Tony Leung Ka-fai and Xue Kaiqi arrived in Beijing yesterday. They will definitely be traveling with the film crew; it's impossible for them to fly from Hong Kong to Venice alone.

"Since we're all here, let's board the plane!"

Lin Bufan glanced at the group, then gave Bai Bing an instruction before turning and leading them outside.

Just like his last trip to Hong Kong, Lin Bufan didn't bring Bai Bing with him to Venice this time. This was mainly because there were still many things to do at the company, and Bai Bing needed to communicate with him at any time.

At this moment, Lin Bufan's desire for a personal secretary became even more urgent.

However, hiring a personal secretary is not something that can be done overnight. This person will be with Lin Bufan almost 24 hours a day, so reliability is the most important thing.

"Okay, Director Lin!"

Liang Jiahui and Dong Jie, the male and female leads, followed behind Lin Bufan and boarded his private jet, with the others following closely behind.

It's perfectly normal for the two of them to go. "Lust, Caution" is in the main competition, and they have a good chance of winning Best Actor or Best Actress.

Pan Yueming, Sun Yiyi, and Xue Kaiqi, one male supporting actor, one male supporting actor, and one female supporting actor, went along for the Best Newcomer Award.

For the three of them, winning the Best Newcomer Award at such an international award would not only be a meteoric rise in the Chinese entertainment industry, but it would also make their future path much easier.

As for the third male lead, Wang Zhiwen, and the second female lead, Chen Shu, they were well aware that even if "Lust, Caution" won the Best Newcomer Award, it wouldn't be for them.

"Wow, Director Lin, your private jet is so luxurious..."

The group boarded Lin Bufan's private jet and exclaimed in surprise.

This was their first time flying on a private jet, especially such a luxurious one.

"Please have a seat, everyone!"

Lin Bufan nodded to everyone, then looked at the flight attendant Lin Ya beside him: "Notify the crew, takeoff!"

"Yes, Mr. Lin!"

Lin Ya responded and turned to leave.

The three men, Liang Jiahui, Pan Yueming, and Sun Yiyi, couldn't help but sigh as they looked at the beautiful flight attendants on the plane, thinking how well Director Lin was eating.

Surrounded by so many female celebrities in the entertainment industry, there are also several beautiful flight attendants on the private jet.

The most beautiful one is undoubtedly the supervisor, Lin Ya. Whether it's her looks, figure, or temperament, she's the best among the flight attendants, and even has a beauty that rivals that of female celebrities in the entertainment industry.

After the plane took off and flew smoothly, Lin Bufan waved to Liang Jiahui, Pan Yueming, and Sun Yiyi.

"Come on, let's play some cards. How about 'Pao Yao'?"

Lin Bufan looked at the four people who were looking at each other blankly, and began to explain the rules to them.

Traveling alone, whether by train or plane, can be tedious and boring, but having someone to accompany you can make the journey a little more enjoyable.

In the past, when Lin Bufan traveled by private jet, Lin Ya would help him pass the time.

With them accompanying us, we played cards and took occasional breaks. The 11-hour trip didn't feel like much before we arrived at our destination.

……

"Boss!"

Lin Bufan led the group out of the airport, where staff from Kyoto Entertainment and members of the film festival organizers were already waiting at the airport entrance.

The film festival had already prepared rooms for the "Lust, Caution" crew.

During the film festival, not only do film crews from all over the world come, but tourists from all over the world also arrive. At this time, Venice is so crowded that it is difficult to find a room, and the prices are very high.

Fortunately, the film festival reserved six rooms for them.

After entering the hotel and returning to their rooms, Lin Bufan called over the company staff to inquire about the screening.

The Venice Film Festival gave Lin Bufan a lot of face, reserving three exhibition halls for "Lust, Caution" out of so many competing films, and screening it 24 hours a day during the festival.

That evening, Lin Bufan and the rest of the "Lust, Caution" crew had dinner and then went back to their rooms to rest.

"Knock knock knock!"

Just as Lin Bufan was about to lie down to rest, a knock sounded on the door.

"Who?"

Lin Bufan opened the door, and a figure appeared in front of him.

"Director Lin, the water heater in my room seems to be broken. Can I take a shower here?"

Xue Kaiqi stood in front of Lin Bufan, looking at him with a gentle, delicate, and adorable gaze.

"Okay, come in!"

A slight smile appeared at the corner of Lin Bufan's mouth.

……

That's how the entertainment industry is. Whether you're a male or female celebrity, there are only a few paths you can take to climb the ladder.

Xue Kaiqi is well aware that she debuted as a singer in 03 and gained some recognition with her role as Fan Shuwa in "New Police Story 3", but that is not enough.

Lin Bufan is a big shot in the entertainment industry, both in mainland China and Hong Kong.

Normally, she would never have the chance to meet such a big shot. She missed it last time, and this time she was determined not to miss it again.

She didn't dare to think about what might happen; even if it was just to get a good resource in return, that would be quite good.
