The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

The next day, because Jessica was pregnant, Lin Bufan did not let her fly to Los Angeles to attend the premiere of "2012".

Although the lead actress is not present, John Cusack and Scarlett Johansson will definitely be there.

"Lin, we meet again!"

At the Kodak Theatre, Scarlett greeted Lin Bufan with great enthusiasm.

"Long time no see! You didn't even say you wanted to come see me!"

In front of a large crowd and numerous reporters, Scarlett took the initiative to greet Lin Bufan intimately, touching cheeks and then giving him a playful, reproachful look.

At that moment, Hollywood reporters frantically pressed their camera shutters, afraid of missing a single shot.

"Miss Scarlett, it seems we're not that familiar with each other..."

Lin Bufan looked at Scarlett speechlessly. The way she said it made it seem like he had abandoned her.

"Ugh, you didn't say that last time we were in bed!"

Scarlett gave a reproachful look and playfully punched Lin Bufan's chest with her fist, though not hard; it was more like a coquettish gesture.

"Miss Scarlett, I have to remind you of something: what men say in bed is not to be trusted!" Lin Bufan looked at Scarlett calmly.

"you……"

Scarlett gritted her teeth and glared at Lin Bufan.

Scarlett took a deep breath, suppressing her anger, and looked at Lin Bufan seriously: "Lin, I want to know, why are you so resistant to me?"

She couldn't understand why Lin Bufan's attitude towards her was always so indifferent, even though she was so beautiful and had a very sexy figure.

If he doesn't like Western women, she's seen the news that Jessica is already trying to conceive in China and is going to have his child.

She wanted to know why she lost to Jessica, and where she went wrong.

"Miss Scarlett, some things lose their meaning if you just say them out loud!"

Lin Bufan shook his head slightly, then turned and left.

11 exes in 13 years, and that's just the ones that have been publicly exposed. Who knows how she's been doing in private?

Perhaps it's a difference in perspectives between the East and the West, especially for Lin Bufan, who thinks playing around is fine, but there's no need to keep it all to himself.

"you……"

Scarlett watched Lin Bufan's figure, and she really didn't understand what Lin Bufan meant by those words.

Could it be that I have done something to wrong him?

But Scarlett thought about it carefully and realized that she hadn't done anything to wrong him.

……

Extraordinary Film Company gave a big promotional tour for the premiere of "2012".

Many A-list and B-list Hollywood male and female stars, as well as directors and producers, attended the event.

Needless to say, there were also many reporters. The Kodak Theater can hold over a thousand people, but only about two hundred were from the industry, while more than three hundred were reporters.

The rest were fans who preferred films produced by Extraordinary Film Company, as instructed by Lin Bufan.

Lin Bufan's gaze swept over the list of invited actors, including Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, and Nicolas Cage.

The cast included several well-known directors from the entertainment industry, such as Michael Bay, Christopher Nolan, and Joel Favreau, all of whom attended the premiere of "2012".

As for other second- and third-tier celebrities and directors, Lin Bufan didn't know many of them either.

Lin Bufan naturally felt a sense of unfamiliarity with these Europeans and Americans; if they didn't have anything particularly memorable about them, he simply couldn't remember them.

Hollywood wasn't Lin Bufan's home turf, so he delegated some social and business-related matters to Carter.

"Director Lin, hello!"

Just then, Qiao Nianfei walked over and greeted Lin Bufan.

"Hello!"

Lin Bufan glanced at the other person and gestured for them to sit down beside him.

At this time, Joe Favreau had not yet filmed "Iron Man," so although he was famous in the entertainment industry, he was far from having the same level of fame as he would later achieve.

"Director Lin, I'd like to ask Extraordinary Pictures, do you have any plans to film the movie 'Iron Man' anytime soon?" Joe Favreau asked directly.

"Iron Man?"

Qiao Nianfei's question surprised Lin Bufan.

Suddenly, he remembered that he had once instructed Carter to get his hands on the Iron Man character no matter what.

Carter has clearly secured the role.

"It's not confirmed yet."

Lin Bufan's identity at Feifan Pictures is not just that of a director, but also that of a producer, which is why Qiao Anfei approached him.

"Director Lin, I wonder if I could be in charge of the role of Iron Man?" Qiao Anfei looked at Lin Bufan with great ambition.

"I can give up the rights to this movie, but I need absolute control over the Iron Man character."

"Who gave you the courage, Fish Leong?"

Lin Bufan looked at Qiao Anfeiru and sized him up.

"Director Lin, what do you mean?"

Qiao Anfei genuinely didn't understand what Lin Bufan meant, especially since the other party was speaking Chinese, which made it even more difficult for him to comprehend.

"Get out!"

As Lin Bufan spoke, he turned his head away from looking at Qiao Anfeiru.

What do you mean by not needing movie copyrights?

Where is your face?

Lin Bufan doesn't know what price Carter paid to get the role of Iron Man.

You're just a director, how dare you spout nonsense like "no copyright"?

Clearly, in Joe Favreau's mind, he did not equate Extraordinary Pictures with the Hollywood Big Eight, or even second to them.

Otherwise, ask him, Joe Favreau, if he dares to talk to those production companies like that.

And what about the absolute right to choose the role of Iron Man?

Undeniably, Joe Favreau's choice of Robert Downey Jr. to portray Iron Man was indeed a classic performance.

But what?

Don't forget, Donnie is a drug addict.

How can someone who started using this stuff at the age of 7, and has been using it for 20 or 30 years, just quit like that?

Hollywood News dared to report this, but Lin Bufan couldn't believe it.

Who in this world is the most untrustworthy?

One is a gambling addict, and the other is a drug addict, especially a drug addict. Once addicted to drugs, they become inhuman when the effects kick in.

Perhaps, given Downey's excellent portrayal of Iron Man, he would be just as successful if he were to play the role again.

But Lin Bufan would never give him that role again.

Dealing with poison dogs is risky; who knows if they might sneak up on you? It's impossible to guard against them. Even with a one in ten thousand chance, Lin Bufan doesn't want to come into contact with them.
