The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

Inside the restroom, through the one-way glass, one can clearly see pedestrians walking downstairs, and even vaguely see people moving around in the office building across the street.

Zhang Tianai lay on the glass until Lin Bufan let go, at which point her legs gave way and she knelt on the ground.

After a long while, once she had recovered a little, Zhang Tianai got up to clean up Lin Bufan.

"You said there was something you wanted to talk about?"

Lin Bufan lay in the bathtub with his eyes closed.

"Boss, Black Coal, Thin Ice has been selected for the main competition at the Berlin International Film Festival."

Zhang Tianai sat to the side, gently massaging Lin Bufan, her blush still lingering on her face.

She came to deliver good news, but ended up being treated like a gift instead.

"kindness!"

Lin Bufan was not surprised at all by this.

Even outsiders weren't particularly surprised by Lin Bufan's "Black Coal, Thin Ice" being nominated for Venice.

It was as if Lin Bufan possessed this strength.

It would be surprising if he didn't make the cut.

"You've read the synopsis of the movie 'Guixu: The Spirit Realm of Mountains and Seas.' Who do you think is more suitable for the role of Yun, and the role of the guardian Ni?" Lin Bufan closed his eyes, recalling some information about the movie in his mind.

First, there's the character Yun. Her background is that she's the heir of a thousand-year-old beast-taming family. What kind of character should we choose to match her temperament?

Since they come from a prestigious family, their demeanor can't be too bad, otherwise it wouldn't fit the character.

However, with the addition of the word "beast taming," choosing an outstanding character becomes quite difficult.

"Boss, is Deng Chao not suitable?"

Zhang Tianai asked with some doubt.

After all, Deng Chao is a contracted artist of the company. If Deng Chao knew that Zhang Tianai recommended him, he would definitely be very grateful.

"Deng Chao won't do!"

Lin Bufan shook his head.

Every time Lin Bufan thought of Deng Chao, words like "demon pill" and "talkative" would automatically pop into his mind, because the impression Deng Chao left on him in his later life was too profound.

"What about finding Hollywood male stars?"

Zhang Tian's heart stirred, and he then spoke.

She knew her boss's ambition for this movie; it was intended for a global release, and that was evident even from the script's synopsis.

This movie must be a huge production, and the production cost must be quite high.

Choosing Hollywood stars is essential for a film's global box office success.

"What do you think of Leonardo DiCaprio?"

Lin Bufan's heart skipped a beat. If box office performance was the deciding factor, choosing a Hollywood male star was absolutely necessary.

After all, if all the faces are Chinese, even though it's a 3D movie, it's easy for foreign audiences not to buy into it.

Therefore, the best choice is a Hollywood male lead paired with a Chinese female lead, which is the safest bet.

Lin Bufan didn't know much about Hollywood stars, but if the requirements for this role were met, it seemed that only Leonardo DiCaprio could handle it.

"He's the one!"

Thinking of this, Lin Bufan opened his eyes: "Tian'ai, go get my phone!"

"Yes, boss!"

Zhang Tianai got up and walked from the bedroom to the office.

The glass is one-way, so there's no need to worry about being seen from the outside. Plus, the office doors are all locked, so she doesn't have to worry about being exposed at all.

"Boss!"

Two minutes later, Zhang Tianai took the phone and handed it to Lin Bufan.

After receiving the call, Lin Bufan immediately dialed Carter Dennis's number.

"Boss!"

The phone rang only twice before Carter Dennis answered it.

"Carter, get in touch with Leonardo DiCaprio and ask if he's available."

"Yes, boss!"

After giving his instructions, Lin Bufan hung up the phone immediately.

He casually handed the phone to Zhang Tianai, who took it and set it aside.

"There's another role, Ni. Which actress in China do you think would be suitable for it?"

Lin Bufan's mind flashed through the faces of many female celebrities, but he quickly dismissed them all.

It's not that their looks don't match, it's that their temperament isn't right, and I'm afraid they won't be able to portray that kind of quality.

At first, Lin Bufan thought of Liu Yifei, after all, she had played the role of Zhao Ling'er in the Legend of Sword and Fairy.

With a human head and a snake's body, Liu Yifei can definitely pull it off perfectly.

However, the role of Ni is a guardian, and Liu Yifei is now somewhat unsuitable due to her age.

Besides Liu Yifei, Fan Bingbing is also a good fit, but she has been trying to conceive recently, so it's uncertain whether she will accept the role.

If Fan Bingbing doesn't accept, he'll have a backup option.

He had already sifted through all the women in his mind.

Although Gao Yuanyuan is beautiful, he felt that she was not a good fit for the role no matter how he thought about it.

As for the others, Yang Ying is pretty, but too thin to carry the role of Ni, and her acting skills are truly indescribable.

Since Yang Ying became obsessed with the "strong woman" archetype and decided to start a clothing company, she has rarely focused on acting.

For Yang Ying, she had no choice but to take this path in the past.

However, now that Lin Bufan is backing her, she can take a completely different path.

Being a celebrity sounds prestigious, but in Hong Kong, it can never compare to the status of industry leaders.

Lin Chih-ling?

She was pretty enough, but she was the first one Lin Bufan rejected because her voice and expression didn't fit the character at all.

"Boss, how's Miss Jingtian?"

When Zhang Tianai's voice rang out, Lin Bufan suddenly remembered her.

Subsequently, based on his understanding of Ni and his efforts to better understand Jing Tian, Lin Bufan suddenly realized that she was actually quite suitable.

First of all, although Ni is positioned as the guardian of the Glass Sea Realm, she has never been exposed to the outside world, so she naturally appears to have a kind of "clumsy and cute" temperament and is naive about the ways of the world.

Jingtian is perfect for this.

Moreover, and very importantly, Jing Tian is very beautiful, extremely beautiful, and perfectly suited to the role of Ni; her figure is also quite fitting.

Not the super skinny type, but with some curves.

Jingtian's only weakness is her acting skills, but that's okay, Lin Bufan can train her in that area.

"Jingtian's been contacting you a lot lately, hasn't she?"

Lin Bufan suddenly changed the subject and calmly asked Zhang Tianai.

"Um!"

Zhang Tianai nodded, then said, "During this time, Miss Jingtian often asks me to go shopping and have coffee together..."

She was well aware that Jingtian's invitation to her was clearly not for the sake of the invitation itself.

Of course, she didn't leak any information to the other party, so she didn't have to worry about the boss finding out. Instead, she could openly admit it.
