The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

On January 25th, Lin Bufan's private jet landed at Los Angeles International Airport.

"Boss!"

"Mr. Lin!"

As Lin Bufan and Zhang Tianai disembarked from the plane, they saw a convoy of cars parked at the airport.

Carter Dennis and Lin Bufan's bodyguard team arrived first.

After gaining a deeper understanding of the capitalist methods employed by the United States, Lin Bufan became even more concerned about his own safety.

Today is the day Extraordinary Film Company is holding a celebration party for "2012".

With "2012" grossing over $10 billion worldwide, and only three films in the world to date, this celebration banquet was naturally going to be a grand affair.

As one of the apparent shareholders of Extraordinary Film Company and also the director of this film, Lin Bufan naturally couldn't be absent.

"Let's go back to Beverly Hills first!"

As Lin Bufan spoke, he walked into his own extended Lincoln sedan.

The celebration banquet was at 8 p.m., so Lin Bufan wasn't in a hurry to go. Moreover, he rarely interfered with his connections in Hollywood, leaving everything to Carter Dennis.

"husband!"

As soon as Lin Bufan got into the car, a familiar voice rang out, surprising him and filling him with a sense of delight.

"Didn't you say you couldn't leave filming?"

Lin Bufan looked up and realized that Liu Yifei and Yang Mi were both in the car.

Before he arrived, Lin Bufan had called the two of them, but they both said they were too busy filming to come and wouldn't be able to accompany him to the celebration banquet.

Lin Bufan didn't think much of it, but to his surprise, he saw them as soon as he landed.

"I'll give you a surprise!"

As Liu Yifei spoke, she and Yang Mi sat down on either side of Lin Bufan, linking arms with him, their faces beaming with smiles.

Today is a day of great joy for Lin Bufan. "2012" has surpassed 10 billion US dollars in global box office, making him a world-class commercial director.

Meanwhile, Lin Bufan also garnered numerous awards.

He's an Oscar winner for Best Director, a Venice Golden Lion winner, and has been nominated for the Berlin International Film Festival, where he has a strong chance of winning a major award.

If Lin Bufan wins the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, he will only need the Palme d'Or to achieve a grand slam of the three major European film festivals.

Besides, it was also because they missed Lin Bufan.

Filming for "The Hunger Games" began on November 1st last year, which is almost three months ago. Although she often talks and video chats with Lin Bufan, they haven't seen each other for two months.

Yang Mi's "Final Destination" sequel also started filming on December 1st last year, which is almost two months ago now.

This time, since Lin Bufan is in Los Angeles, they will make time to be with him no matter what.

In addition, Lin Bufan's name is now quite famous in Hollywood, and countless foreign women will have their eyes on him.

They already have Jessica at home, and they don't want too many foreign female sisters around them.

……

After returning to Beverly Hills, bodyguard captain Li Feng reported to Lin Bufan.

The mansion has been thoroughly inspected inside and out three times to ensure there are no problems.

Since the establishment of Black Ice Security Company, Lin Bufan has entrusted the daily security and cleaning of this mansion to his own people.

The entire mansion is equipped with surveillance cameras inside and out, ensuring that there are absolutely no blind spots.

No matter who it is, if they want to do anything in the mansion, such as installing listening devices, they will have absolutely no chance.

Every second day, someone would review the previous day's surveillance footage three times to ensure that no problems had occurred.

Even so, Lin Bufan was used to it and would have someone check the place three times before he checked in.

It wasn't that he didn't trust them, but rather that he was being cautious; life is only once, and he needed to be on the safe side.

"very good!"

Lin Bufan nodded slightly.

The study, in particular, is equipped with several anti-eavesdropping devices, ensuring that even if someone installs a hidden eavesdropping device in the study, they will not be able to hear anything.

"Where are Bart Elvis and the others?"

Lin Bufan's trip to Los Angeles this time was not only for the celebration party for "2012", but also for other matters, such as Marvel matters and 3D technical issues.

Bart Elvis reported to him over the phone that he had acquired the 3D filming technology.

Lin Bufan didn't ask how he got his hands on it, nor did he need to ask about the process. He only needed to know the result; he left everything else to his subordinates.

In addition, due to the unexpected death of Marvel's leader, Bart Elvis and others joined forces with some capital banks to liquidate Marvel.

Currently, Strong Wind Investment Company has finally acquired ownership of the three characters: Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow through various connections.

It's ownership, not just the right to make a film.

Besides these three characters, Strong Wind Investment Company has shared the "rights" to use other characters within the Marvel copyright, such as the Hulk, which has been sold to Universal.

Marvel cannot make a standalone movie with the Hulk character, but it can use the character for cameo roles in its own movies, provided that the character's screen time and plot percentage are less than 20%.

In short, Strong Wind Investment Company owns all rights to these three characters and can freely make autobiographical films about these three heroes.

Other characters can only be used, such as those from S.H.I.E.L.D., like Hawkeye.

In addition, with the help of Strong Wind Investment Company, Extraordinary Film Company acquired the shared distribution rights to all Marvel characters.

This right to issue is actually very simple; it's exactly what it sounds like.

If a film has a character in it, Extraordinary Film Company must be involved in the film's distribution. The extent of their involvement can be discussed separately, but they must share the distribution rights.

"With ownership of these three characters, and the right to use other Marvel characters, the Avengers can be launched." Lin Bufan felt a surge of excitement.

Marvel's most profitable project is actually The Avengers, with a total box office of over seven billion US dollars.
