The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

This year, Qixi Festival and the Beginning of Autumn happen to coincide on the same day.

Therefore, when the system checked in, it combined the two gift packs together.

"I wonder what kind of reward we can get by combining the two gift packs?"

Lin Bufan felt a little eager to try.

The individual gift packs already offer great rewards, so there's no reason why combining two gift packs would result in worse rewards.

"System, open the holiday gift pack!"

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have opened the Qixi Festival/Autumn Begins Gift Pack and received the reward: AI-related technology.]

"Wait, System, what did you say?"

Upon hearing the voice, Lin Bufan was completely stunned.

AI intelligent technology?

It's only 08 now. Let alone the AI technology of later generations, even the Internet technology is not that mature yet.

Some even say that we are only at the very beginning of the rise of the Internet.

Current mobile phones can only use 2G networks, not even 3G networks. We're not even in the era of smartphones yet, and you've already signed me up for an AI smart technology product.

There's no denying that this technology is incredibly advanced.

It even exceeded Lin Bufan's expectations.

But it's useless, completely useless now.

Being half a step ahead is genius, being a step ahead is madness, so what about being ten steps ahead?

"Sigh, I guess I'll just have to put this technology aside for now."

Lin Bufan gave a wry smile, his heart filled with a bittersweet feeling.

In the short term, at least for the next three to five years, this technical information will just sit in the system gathering dust.

At the same time, today's events also proved something to Lin Bufan.

If it's a gift pack that combines two holidays, you're sure to get some good stuff from it.

……

"Today is the premiere of 'Struggle,' I wonder how it will do!"

Inside the apartment, Sun Yizhou looked at the other people on the sofa, feeling somewhat uneasy.

"Director Zhang said that the first run of 'Struggle' was sold to Shanghai TV for 180 million yuan, so the ratings are sure to be high." Deng Jiajia said confidently, but she was actually very nervous inside.

Unfortunately, almost all the main actors in the entire production team were newcomers.

Of course, besides Wang Luodan who plays Mi Lai, Mi Lai isn't strictly speaking a lead actress, and her screen time isn't enough to boost viewership.

The burden of ratings for the entire TV series actually rests on the shoulders of these new actors.

"You guys are lucky. Even if this TV series is a flop, the company will give you new resources, unlike me!" Liu Yun sat on the sofa, looking at Sun Yizhou and the others with a hint of envy.

She now only regrets that she signed the contract with the company too early.

Otherwise, I would have to sign with Kyoto no matter what this time.

"Sister Yun, we're all on the same side!"

Lei Jiayin, standing to the side, looked at Liu Yun and chuckled.

In the drama "Struggle," Liu Yun plays the role of Yang Xiaoyun, while Lei Jiayin plays the role of Hua Zi.

"Signing with a big company means we won't lack resources, but there are too many rules..." Sun Yizhou and others are now experiencing a happy kind of trouble.

Kyoto has plenty of resources, but there aren't many dramas featuring them as the lead actors.

If the ratings for "Struggle" are not good this time, their resources for the next stage will definitely decrease.

"Come on!"

Lei Jiayin interrupted Sun Yizhou: "I've heard that 'iPartment' has already started production, and the three of you are the main actors."

The three he was referring to were naturally Sun Yizhou, Deng Jiajia, and Li Jiahang.

"Just to clarify, I'm not a lead actor; I only have a cameo role in a few episodes!"

Li Jiahang raised his hand to prove his innocence.

However, he is not the lead actor, mainly because he has another drama to film next and his schedule doesn't allow for it.

So when the first season of "iPartment" was being filmed, he only played a supporting role in a few episodes, but he officially joined the main cast starting from the second season.

"No, what's wrong with you two? Isn't it a good thing to have a movie to film? Why do you two look like that..." Liu Yun looked at Sun Yizhou and Deng Jiajia, and their expressions were... well, let's just say they were like that.

He seemed happy, but there was something else on his face that I couldn't quite describe.

"Do you know how twisted this show is?"

Deng Jiajia looked at the group with an exaggerated expression: "We met with the director a few days ago, and we've read the script..."

"None of you have any idea how many words are in the dialogue."

"It's normal. It's a good thing for actors to have a lot of lines. Deng Jiajia, your thinking is wrong." Liu Yun looked at Deng Jiajia with an envious tone.

"Sister Yun, having a lot of lines is a good thing, but the director said that the filming process should be done in one take, with the whole scene in one shot." Deng Jiajia sighed, her tone somewhat strange.

Undeniably, having more lines is a good thing for actors.

But it depends on the situation.

If you shoot one shot at a time, then it doesn't matter.

However, if you want to do it in one take, that would be torture.

The most challenging part is that, because it's a panoramic lens, it's not enough for just one person to avoid making mistakes; everyone has to be perfect to pass.

This increases the difficulty by a factor of two.

In fact, there are several shots that require multiple members, with more than five people in each shot, and there are more than ten such wide shots.

"Okay, good luck!"

Upon hearing this, Liu Yun immediately shut up.

Although she was envious, she wasn't envious of this particular drama at all.

"Alright, we're about to start the broadcast!"

As Sun Yizhou spoke, he carried over a fruit platter and placed it in front of everyone.

This apartment is the standard unit provided by the company for each of them. Although it is not very big, only seventy or eighty square meters, it is spacious because of its one-bedroom and one-living room layout.

"They're here, they're here, the show's starting!"

As Li Jiahang was speaking, Shanghai TV had already started airing the first episode of "Struggle".

On television, when Wang Luodan's camera briefly appeared at the beginning of the credits, she suddenly looked at everyone with a gossipy expression: "I heard that she had a relationship with Director Lin. Do you guys think it's true?"

"Li Jiahang, stop gossiping. What does it matter to us whether it's true or not?" Lei Jiayin interrupted Li Jiahang directly.

Whether it's true or false, it has nothing to do with them.

In reality, their relationship with each other during filming was just that of ordinary colleagues, so why think so much about it?

If any more rumors get out and Director Lin hears them, it won't do them any good.

……

With the premiere of "Struggle", the last scene of "Guixu: The Spirit Realm of Mountains and Seas" on Weizhou Island has been filmed, and the crew will move to Zhangjiajie for the next scene.

According to the filming schedule, the next phase of filming is expected to take about four months in Zhangjiajie.

It's mid-August now, and we expect to finish filming in Zhangjiajie, but it might not be until mid-December, or even January of next year.
