A song from Chengdu revived a closed-down pub.

Ever since Zhang Lingyuan fiercely protected his disciple at the dinner table, no one has dared to cause trouble for Su Fan anymore.

Not only did no one cause trouble, but people flocked to his door to curry favor with him every day.

Even the music platforms that initially removed Su Fan's songs were filled with regret after learning the whole story.

They were so arrogant when they took his songs down, and now they regret it so much.

After Su Fan uploaded the song to NetEase Cloud Music, this previously little-known platform began to rise rapidly at a visible pace.

What makes those traditional platforms even more worried is that NetEase Cloud Music's approach is completely different from theirs.

The dual-engine model of online music services plus social entertainment services completely stunned them.

Netizens are having a blast on it, as if they've discovered a new continent.

And the most heartbreaking thing is that Su Fan's songs can only be listened to on NetEase Cloud Music.

It's worth noting that Su Fan's songs can all be considered classics.

Such popularity on the NetEase Cloud Music platform is tantamount to tearing away a large amount of traffic from those traditional platforms.

People from these platforms couldn't sit still any longer. They started visiting him in person and even asked people to pull strings, trying to bring Su Fan, this big shot, back with them.

Su Fan remained unmoved, only replying with a hint of sarcasm: "What goes around comes around."

But that's not all. In order to further promote the development of NetEase Cloud Music, Su Fan decided to launch a series of activities on the platform.

After hearing Su Fan's plan, Shen Fei slapped his thigh and exclaimed, "This plan will absolutely work! I guarantee it! Not only music lovers, but even top celebrities will be scrambling to get involved!"

Soon after, NetEase Cloud Music officially announced the event.

"NetEase Cloud Music's 'Sing for You' voting event! Starting today, all NetEase Cloud Music users can vote to select their most desired song genres and the artists they most want to hear. After the event ends, the song genre and artist with the highest overall score will have a brand-new song tailor-made for them by Su Fan. Every vote you cast will determine who will be the next hit song!"

This news immediately attracted widespread attention across the internet.

"Wow, this event is ruthless! Su Fan's songs are all classics; this is like winning a divine song in a lottery across the entire internet!"

"This is a fun feature; it lets users decide the song genre and singer, maximizing user engagement!"

"Those in the know understand the significance of this song. These days, what many stars lack is a truly powerful signature song. This is going to be a hot seller!"

"Putting everything else aside, just based on Su Fan's songwriting ability, whoever gets this song will be the next hit-maker!"

"Voting has already started, guys, let's go! Cast your votes for your favorite type!"

……

Users of NetEase Cloud Music were excited, Su Fan's fans were excited, and so were a host of celebrities in the entertainment industry.

Those celebrities dream of having a song by Su Fan.

In order to get what they wanted, they all rushed to register accounts on NetEase Cloud Music.

They also publicly announced their move to NetEase Cloud Music.

The purpose is obvious: to guide their own fans to first vote for the song type they are good at, and then vote for themselves for the singer.

That's a very clever plan.

But it's not just one celebrity who's got this idea.

And so, one promotional campaign followed another.

The YiYun platform simply launched an event, and a large group of entertainment stars rushed to stand up and play GG for free.

In a short time, the number of registered users of NetEase Cloud Music grew at a rate of millions per day.

Shen Fei's favorite thing to do in the office right now is to refresh the backend data.

With each refresh, the number of registered users jumped up, and he couldn't contain his excitement.

This feeling is just like me, a novelist, constantly monitoring the comments, likes, and requests for updates in the backend. Every refresh shows an increase, and that feeling is incredibly exhilarating.

As the number of registered users increases, the types of songs for voting also become more diverse.

There were votes for rock, pop, and opera-style music—all kinds of genres were represented.

However, there is one circle that is relatively niche.

That's the traditional Chinese style music scene.

It can be said that these people are among the earliest original users of NetEase Cloud Music.

They were initially quite excited to see the platform launch such a large-scale event, but as more and more people flocked in, they couldn't be happy anymore.

They had originally planned to get Su Fan to write a traditional Chinese style song through their own circle's vote.

But now it seems there's basically no chance.

Although their circle has a certain user base, it's nothing compared to those celebrities who have millions of fans.

So, people in this circle discussed in the group how to break the deadlock.

Just when everyone was at a loss, someone came up with a suggestion.

"How about we just announce to the public that Su Fan will sing traditional Chinese style songs himself!"

The suggestion immediately caused an uproar in the group chat.

"Holy crap, that's a brilliant idea! We definitely can't beat them in votes if we vote for someone else, but voting for Su Fan himself is a completely different story!"

"Brilliant! Those celebrities' fans vote for their own idols, but we'll vote directly for Su Fan. It's like using the internet's attention on Su Fan to promote the ancient style!"

"The key is that this reason holds water. Su Fan has sung rock, pop, and even opera singing, but he's never sung in the traditional Chinese style. This curiosity is universal across the internet!"

"Besides, isn't it more interesting for Su Fan to write and sing his own songs than for someone else to sing them? I think even casual listeners will be curious; this could go viral!"

"Let's do it! Let's do it this way, everyone stick to the same story and vote together!"

……

Therefore, these original members of the ancient style music circle openly and unanimously cast their votes for Su Fan in the column of the singer they most wanted to sing in the ancient style music genre.

The reasons are clearly stated: Su Fan has sung rock, pop, and traditional opera, but he has never sung in the ancient style. We want to hear what it feels like for Su Fan to sing in the ancient style.

This reason immediately piqued the curiosity of many netizens.

"Hey, now that you mention it, it's true. Su Fan doesn't seem to have ever been into traditional Chinese style before. I'm suddenly a little curious!"

"This move by the traditional Chinese style music community is really clever. But to be honest, I also want to hear Su Fan sing traditional Chinese style music; just thinking about it is exciting!"

"Writing and singing songs for myself is so much more interesting than writing for other celebrities! I'm voting!"

"I'm still listening to his opera-style rendition on repeat. Traditional Chinese style and opera singing are inherently related, so his rendition of traditional Chinese style is absolutely solid!"

"I was originally voting for my idol, but after seeing this reason, I inexplicably voted for Su Fan too. Sorry, bro, I was just too curious!"
