He was about to knock on the door and go in when the courtyard gate opened first.

Old Sheng was carrying a bowl of wedding candy and was about to go out to spread some joy when he looked up and saw the young man standing at the door.

He paused for a moment. He had a handsome face and a familiar roguish air about him... Wasn't this the young man from the Feng family?

Old Sheng nearly dropped the basin from his hand, as if he had seen a ghost.

"Feng Zhi? You're still alive? And what about your father? Your mother? Where have you all been these past few years?"

Feng Zhi was both amused and exasperated. What did he mean by "he's still alive"? Before he could explain, another voice came from inside the house.

"Dad, who are you talking to? It sounds like you've seen a ghost!"

A large, muscular man walked over, muttering to himself as he straightened his new clothes.

Shengwu originally didn't want to wear such flashy clothes, but his mother said that he should dress more respectably when going to the immortal sect, so as not to embarrass the immortals.

He glanced at it,

"Holy crap, you lunatic! You're not dead, kid?" Shengwu's reaction was even stronger than his father's.

"You're the one who's dead."

Feng Zhi replied irritably.

He glanced at Shengwu's attire—a red robe paired with those muscular physiques—and Feng Zhi couldn't help but wash his eyes with his hand.

"Who are you going to marry dressed like that?"

"Get lost!" Shengwu habitually slapped Fengzhi on the shoulder.

"My mother insisted I wear this, saying I should look presentable when going to the immortal sect... Huh?"

The wind stopped completely when the slap landed.

Shengwu looked at his hands, then at Fengzhi, his honest face showing disbelief.

Although he didn't use much force in that palm strike, with his innate superhuman strength, he could always make him stagger.

But Feng Zhi didn't even utter a sound this time.

"You brat, did you go somewhere to learn some skills?" Shengwu's eyes lit up, and he swung his fist to test him again.

"Take this!"

*Crack!* *Thud!*

A metallic clang rang out, and Shengwu's hand went numb from the shock, the force of which sent him staggering back two steps.

Feng Zhi remained motionless, watching his performance with a half-smile: "Three years have passed, and your strength hasn't improved much."

Shengwu's expression was exaggerated as he shook his numb hand: "Where have you been all these years? Your body is even more exaggerated than mine."

Old Sage watched this scene from the sidelines, secretly surprised, and already had a guess in his mind.

His son's strength is unmatched among ordinary people, so the reason why this kid can do it so easily is obvious.

He ignored the wedding candy and pulled Feng Zhi inside, saying, "Come on in, come on in and let's talk!"

He turned around and called out, "Mother, pour me a bowl of water."

Feng Zhi sat down on the wooden bench, took the bowl of water from Shengwu's mother, thanked her, and then briefly recounted his experiences over the past three years.

He claimed that he went to the sacred site of Beidou to learn martial arts, passed the test, and has now officially become a disciple of the sacred site.

My parents and younger sister are all well and live in the Holy Land. They came back specifically to pick up Shengwu.

"Pick me up?" Shengwu pointed to his nose, looking completely bewildered.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Let's go to the Holy Land of Beidou." Feng Zhi looked at Sheng Wu seriously.

"You have a strong physique, and your innate super strength is not accidental. It would be a waste to spend your whole life stuck in this blacksmith shop forging iron."

"Besides, don't you want to live a little longer?"

After hearing this, Shengwu was initially excited, but then a conflicted expression appeared on his face.

"But I've already promised the immortal that he'll take me away soon."

Feng Zhi raised an eyebrow, a hint of doubt in his eyes: "When I arrived earlier, I heard other families talking about this. Which family's cultivator is this?"

"If you state his purpose and sect name, I might be able to find out. I'm just afraid you'll be targeted by some evil cultivator from who-knows-where."

Upon hearing this, the old sage thought about it carefully and realized it made sense. A sacred place was more reliable than one he had never heard of!

He answered first: "Just a couple of days ago, Wu helped me transport some goods to a buyer. The person saw Wu praising him for having divine strength, then he went through a bone-touching session, and finally followed him back."

"He demonstrated his magic to us, snapping his fingers and a burst of fire shot out from them! I believed him then and there, thinking, why stay here if I can cultivate?"

"He said his name was Lu Qifei and he came from Baiduan Mountain."

Upon hearing this, Feng Zhi blinked.

He really is capable. He knows this person; he's one of the elders from Hundred Forged Mountain who came to participate in the ceremony.

He thought it was some kind of evil cultivator, and sure enough... his delusions kicked in again. What kind of evil cultivator could possibly enter the city!

Feng Zhi chuckled awkwardly, "Then I misunderstood. They are indeed capable. Hundred Forged Mountain is one of the ancient sects, so they are not bad."

The father and son exchanged a glance, somewhat bewildered.

Shengwu asked Fengzhi for his opinion: "So what do you say? Since it's true, I have even less reason to refuse!"

Feng Zhi thought about it for a moment, resting his chin on his hand, and also felt that it wasn't a good idea; one should have a conscience when doing things.

"Hmm...it's alright. I'll take you to see him later. Just say you're from my holy land. At worst, I'll do him a favor by giving Hundred Refinement Mountain a gift!"

Upon hearing his tone, Shengwu curled his lip and teased, "Oh, you really have a lot of influence, making such an important person give you face. Who do you think you are? The Holy Son of the Holy Land?"

Feng Zhi was taken aback; he hadn't said anything either.

"Wow, it's been three years, and your IQ has actually improved quite a bit! How did you know?"

Shengwu's expression froze on his face.

He opened his mouth, pointed at Feng Zhi, then turned to look at his father, before bursting into laughter, his voice trembling:

"You? Holy Son? The Holy Son of the Big Dipper Holy Land? You? Hahaha, my god, that's hilarious!"

He burst into laughter after saying that.

"Doesn't it look like it?" Feng Zhi shrugged.

"Doesn't look like it!" Shengwu stopped joking around, his face full of disdain.

"You were someone who couldn't even beat me in a fight when we were kids, someone who got completely humiliated, and now you're telling me you're some kind of saint?"

He circled Feng Zhi twice, looking him up and down.

"You haven't gotten too cocky just because you've learned a little skill, have you? That's a serious crime, you lunatic. If you get caught, you'll be beheaded, I'm telling you."

Feng Zhi was amused by him, raised his right hand, spread his five fingers, and a ball of dark golden light appeared in his palm.

Instantly, a powerful pressure caused all three people present to feel suffocated.

Shengwu's smile vanished completely, his expression turning as if he'd eaten ten pills.

"Do you still think I'm an imposter?" Feng Zhi withdrew his divine power, picked up the bowl of water and took a sip. Only he knew how comfortable he felt.

Shengwu remained silent for a long while, then scratched his head vigorously: "So, you're now the Holy Son of the Big Dipper Holy Land, the kind of person even elders of major sects have to bow to?"

"More or less."

Shengwu looked utterly dejected: "You're doing too well, it's making me a little uncomfortable."

Old Saint slapped him on the head: "What nonsense are you talking about? Isn't it great that you have Xiao Zhi protecting you in the Holy Land?"
