A moment later, the young disciple picked up the broken sword from the ground, quickly approached the machine girl, and slammed it down on her back.

The mecha girl staggered after being hit, glanced at him, and didn't retaliate. She simply took a half-step back while clutching the jar of pills. The young disciple didn't stop; he struck again, instantly tearing apart the simulated skin to reveal the intricate machinery inside.

The young disciple, who had originally intended to have some fun, immediately lost interest upon seeing the mecha girl's internal structure.

He raised his sword and beheaded the mecha girl.

The young disciple stood there, his breathing slightly quickened, his face showing an excitement he himself wasn't fully aware of:

"They didn't even fight back."

The young disciple then stored the machine girl in his storage ring and took her back to the far west for research.

The news that the mecha girls wouldn't fight back even when attacked spread quickly.

More and more people are going out, and they are becoming bolder and bolder.

Dozens of mecha girls were destroyed in the following days.

Lin Mo quickly received a notification from the mainframe that the mecha girls had been attacked by humans in the far west, and dozens of them had been lost in just a few days.

Lin Mo immediately pulled up the activity records of the past few days and saw a complete replay of the operation.

He finished reading, then closed the interface, stood up, and his face was cold and sinister.

"That's just asking for trouble!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he leaped into the air.

Soon after, Lin Mo appeared near the far west and went on a killing spree.

Wherever the spirits of the gods are present, anyone who is human will die instantly.

The news spread much faster than expected within the far west.

The first few teams to receive the news exchanged information at the entrance of the passageway before even returning to their respective family residences, after reaching the safe zone shrouded in Buddha's light.

A middle-aged monk asked in a low voice:

"Is that person still over there?"

"exist."

The person crouching on the edge of the stone steps opposite didn't even raise their head.

"Not only are they present, they kill anyone they see; of the hundreds of disciples sent out to gather intelligence, only one returned!"

The news quickly reached the heads of several prominent families.

Inside a side hall, several people sat around a long table, the atmosphere somber.

The old man in the gray robe, fiddling with the prayer beads in his hand, spoke:

"No matter what, the things in those old sites are what our generations have risked their lives to preserve."

"Being robbed of it now is no different than skinning us alive."

Another middle-aged man, who was rather thin, chimed in:

"My men said the other party's cultivation level is extremely high; they might be an immortal!"

"Then we can only ask the Buddhist sect to intervene. Daring to touch us is disrespecting the Western Paradise!"

The gray-robed old man put down his prayer beads, looked up at the tightly closed courtyard gate outside the hall, and gestured to the middle-aged cultivator standing beside him to report.

The message was quickly delivered to the monks on duty at the Buddhist temple, and after being forwarded, it finally reached the lotus platform of the Arhat who subdues dragons.

The monks sitting in the side hall were organizing scriptures. They fell silent for a moment after hearing the message.

One of them looked up from the scroll and whispered:

"Venerable Arhat, several benefactors have reported that their path to recycle old items was cut off by outsiders in the far west, and they are killing anyone they see!"

The Arhat Subduing Dragon did not open his eyes immediately; after a moment, he slowly spoke:

"Monks should be compassionate, but they must also understand cause and effect."

He didn't pause for long.

"Fajing, Faming, Faxian. The three of you go and take this person back to the Buddha. Seal him in the lamp and use it to dispel the evil energy within him."

The three disciples clasped their hands in response and left the hall.

Their pace was slow, but after a few steps they disappeared into the edge of the Buddha's light at the end of the corridor.

One day later.

Lin Mo, who was sitting cross-legged in the void, suddenly opened his eyes and turned his gaze to the west.

Three golden beams of light slowly emerged from not far away, getting closer and closer.

Leading the group was Fajing, his cassock clinging to his sides due to the wind pressure. He stopped a few feet away from Lin Mo, his tone upright yet carrying an unyielding coldness:

"Please, benefactor, cease your acts of killing!"

Those believers came only to take the early relics of their families who had taken refuge in the far west, but you killed them.

The benefactor's actions have caused widespread panic.

Please come with us back to the Buddhist temple to receive the teachings of Buddhism and cleanse your body of karmic burdens!

Lin Mo didn't get up, but just turned her head to look at him:

"Go back with you? Xiniu Continent is my territory now."

These people stole my things and killed my mecha girls. Shouldn't I have fought back?

Fajing's gaze darkened slightly:

"Then we have no choice but to forcefully ask you to return with us."

Faming stepped forward, clasped his hands together, and spoke in a calm but authoritative tone:

"This fellow practitioner has a connection with my Buddhist community."

The moment I saw you, my friend, I knew we were bound by past karmic ties.

Fellow Daoist, in this life, you should return to the Buddhist path to atone for your sins.

"Just the three of you Earth Immortals?"

"Fellow Daoist, I apologize for offending you."

Fajing's voice tightened slightly as he finished speaking.

Golden chains simultaneously appeared in the hands of the three people, their surfaces shrouded in fine runes, accompanied by Buddhist chants, as if they had been summoned from the depths of the void.

They moved with a steady, rhythmic pace, converging on Lin Mo from three directions simultaneously.

Lin Mo did not get up. Just before the three chains were about to touch him, his divine sense burst out of his body like a sharp knife. Without any extra movements, it directly bypassed the chains, the protective Buddhist light, and the chanting surrounding them, precisely penetrating the core of the three people's souls.

The three figures froze at the same moment, then fell from the sky. The golden chains dimmed rapidly after leaving their hands, turning into tiny specks of light before they even hit the ground and scattering into the void.

Inside the Buddhist Soul Lamp Hall, the monks guarding the lamps are sitting in meditation with their eyes closed in front of a row of bronze lamps.

He suddenly opened his eyes and his gaze fell on three of the lamps.

The flames of the three lamps went out almost simultaneously, without struggle or lingering tremors, as if they had been blown off from the inside by something in one fell swoop.

He stood up abruptly, strode through the corridor, and knelt before the stone steps outside the side hall, his voice strained:

"Venerable One, the soul lamps of Fajing, Faming, and Faxian..."

It's destroyed.

The hall was quiet for a while.

The quiet was like a gently pressed membrane, covering the entire space between the corridor and the stone steps, as if even the wind had been filtered out.

The voice came from inside the palace gate, saying only three words: "Understood."

After those three words were spoken, the hall fell silent for a moment.

Then came a soft rustling sound of fabric, and on the lotus platform, the Arhat Subduing Dragon slowly stood up.

He straightened his robes and lowered his eyes slightly:

"Amitabha."

With that, he took a step forward.

That step crossed the palace gate, passed through the layers of Buddhist light on the outskirts of the far west, and appeared directly in front of Lin Mo.

The moment its body landed, it stirred up a very light breeze, which stirred up the dust scattered on the ground thousands of feet away.

He didn't speak, but looked down at Lin Mo.
