In the dark shadows, all was silent.

Two bright beams of light suddenly shot in from afar, followed by the roar of a beast-like engine. A heavy truck loaded with ore sped along the viaduct, like a ferocious beast crawling on the ground.

The truck was speeding around a bend, and the Maybach following behind hesitated for a few seconds before stepping on the foot brake, not daring to get too close.

"He's much crazier than I imagined."

Caesar sighed as he watched the truck drift past him. The truck was so heavy that the ore inside its cargo box collided with each other, making a sound like rocks shattering, and the violent vibrations almost made the entire viaduct tremble.

"The three of us are all crazy."

Chu Zihang stared intently at the road ahead. "Actually, you didn't need to come along. I'm here for revenge, and Lu Mingfei wants to see a Dragon King-level target with his own eyes. You have no reason to risk your life with us."

"Can't I kill the Dragon King?"

Caesar raised an eyebrow. "I don't need your permission to do what I want. I came because I wanted to. Even if it were a dragon king inside, I'd still want to ride on his back and put a noose around his mouth. You know I won't miss an opportunity to show off."

That's not what I meant.

Chu Zihang said, "Actually, we shouldn't be here now. The three of us can't kill Odin on our own, but I can't let go of any opportunity to take revenge on Odin... So even if I die, I won't feel regret. But you are different."

Chu Zihang paused, then turned to look at Caesar: "You are the heir of the Gattuso family. They are grooming you to be a dragon-slaying leader. One day you will become someone like the principal. Wouldn't it be a great pity to die here?"

"Regret? Of course there will be regret, but there are already enough regrets in this world. Adding one more won't make a difference. Some things you have to try to know if you can do them. I can die here, but I can't tolerate living because I'm afraid of dying."

Caesar said, "Don't be so pessimistic. Aren't you Chinese very superstitious about death? Stop talking about death. We're on our way to conquer Odin, the chief god of Norse mythology. We're doing something that can be written into an epic myth. We should be full of ambition at times like this!"

Chu Zihang's heart stirred slightly as he looked at the man known as the playboy. The man spoke as if it were the most natural thing in the world, his face radiating unprecedented pride, his expression filled with so-called "ambitions and lofty aspirations."

He was truly eager to kill Odin, and he would be proud even if it cost him his life. He didn't have any special reason; he got into the car simply because his name was Caesar Gattuso, and Caesar Gattuso never missed out on anything cool.

So this is what Caesar Gattuso was like?

"It's a pity I forgot to buy alcohol. A whiskey on the rocks would really set the mood at a time like this."

Caesar smacked his lips, feeling a little regretful.

"Drunk driving is illegal in China, and in serious cases, it can result in license revocation and detention."

Chu Zihang said calmly.

"You need a driver's license to revoke it, and I don't have one from your country."

Caesar glanced sideways at Chu Zihang, "And don't you feel like you're being treated differently? There's a minor in front of you, drifting a hundred-ton truck on the overpass... Wow! What a beautiful cornering! I'm actually starting to like this car, it looks really powerful."

Chu Zihang paused for a moment, then smiled silently.

Caesar saw Chu Zihang's smile and felt a chill run down his spine, unable to resist making a comment:

"I'll bring you a mirror when we get back to the academy. You should really see how scary you look when you laugh."

……

In the cab of the heavy truck, Lu Ming shifted gears non-violently, alternating between pressing the accelerator and brake, just like driving a race car.

"Brother, driving without a license is not something a good kid should do."

Lu Mingze quietly sat down next to him and dramatically fastened his seatbelt.

"Isn't it unnecessary to drive so fast?"

"Does the devil even care about traffic laws?"

Lu Mingfei was already used to Lu Mingze's elusive nature, and continued to press the accelerator without looking back.

"If you're trying to give me directions, hurry up."

"Brother, don't be so cold. I'm here to make a deal with you."

"Transaction details".

"Chu Zihang has the mark left by Odin on his body, so Odin already discovered you when you drove onto this overpass. But Odin doesn't want to see you right now, so even if you run around here, you won't be able to find the gate to the Kingdom of God."

Lu Mingze revealed a shrewd businessman's smile, "As long as he doesn't open the door on his own, you won't be able to find Odin. Luckily, I'm good at picking locks. I'll use a quarter of my life to help you pick the lock."

"Such a shrewd businessman? Didn't you say my soul was very valuable? Yet you're charging me a quarter of it just to unlock a lock?"

"Hey, you can't say that, brother. You have to consider what kind of door it is, right?"

Lu Mingze retorted with dissatisfaction, "If it were just an ordinary door, I wouldn't charge such a high price, but you're opening the gate to Odin's Kingdom! I have to take risks too!"

"Is there anything special about the gates to Odin's kingdom?"

Lu Mingfei remained unmoved.

"Then let me explain it to you, brother. Odin's kingdom was built in Nibelungen. It's a place like a temple. For thousands of years, alchemists have racked their brains trying to find it."

Lu Mingze said, "If you only need to give up a quarter of your life, you can save thousands of years. Doesn't that sound like a great deal?"

"The legendary land of the dead?"

Lu Mingfei nodded. "If I don't make a deal with you, what conditions do I need to meet to get in?"

"Is this some kind of trick to get information out of me? Brother, you still want to break in on your own, but it's okay to tell you."

Lu Mingze leaned back in his chair with his hands behind his head. "Either you have a brand on your body, or Odin will open the door for you. But both of those conditions are now locked. Do you remember what I just said, brother? Odin already knows what you want to do, but he doesn't have time to deal with you right now, so he's turning you away."

"It's that simple?"

Lu Mingfei slammed on the brakes, the truck's tires scraping across the ground, leaving trails of blue smoke, and the air was filled with the smell of burning rubber.

"Damn it! Brother, are you trying to murder your own brother?!"

Lu Mingze shouted, "You almost threw me off!"

That's a real shame.

Lu Mingfei unbuckled his seatbelt, pushed open the car door, and jumped to the ground.

"Brother, have you given up?"

Lu Mingze paused for a moment, then leaned against the car window and asked.

"No, I just thought of a better way."

Lu Mingfei said calmly, watching the Maybach slowly slow down and stop behind the truck, "Since Odin doesn't intend to invite me, I'll just make a key myself. You don't necessarily have to use violence to open a door. A brain is a good thing."

He pointed to his head, implying that Lu Mingze was brainless.
