The man honked his horn and cursed, but neither Lu Mingfei nor Chu Zihang responded. Instead, they turned their heads to look out the window.

In the midst of the raging wind and rain, a straight fork in the road emerged from the gray landscape, just a few meters away. Willow trees lined both sides, their branches obscuring the road sign.

Chu Zihang then looked at Lu Mingfei.

"This dream is based on your memories, so everything in it will change according to your consciousness. We cannot yet confirm whether this overpass actually exists in reality."

Lu Mingfei explained, gazing at the road sign, "But the good news is that our approach is correct, and Odin is waiting for us there, right?"

"If my memory serves me right."

Chu Zihang said.

"It's okay if your memory is wrong, just give yourself a couple of positive self-talks. Dreams can be quite convenient if used properly."

Lu Mingfei rolled down the car window, and torrential rain rushed into the car.

"It's a pity that I'm not the subject of this dream, otherwise Odin should have come to us on his winged horse... I should have appeared before you later, so you wouldn't have had so many thoughts, but I was a little worried about you."

"What are you worried about me for?"

Chu Zihang was stunned for a moment, not understanding the meaning of those words.

"I wandered around the school before your father arrived and found some things."

Lu Mingfei took a small piece of blood-stained bone out of his pocket, washed it in the rain, and then threw it to Chu Zihang.

Chu Zihang caught it subconsciously. It was as hard and heavy as iron. It was a broken spine. Even though the blood had been washed away with rainwater, the stench of blood could still be smelled. The edges of the bone were covered with barbs, as if it had just been forcibly pulled out of the body of some prehistoric creature.

"It's Deadpool's spine. I found Deadpool at the school, and it matches the shadows you mentioned that you encountered in Odin's kingdom. I found them hiding in the women's restroom."

Lu Mingfei said calmly, "I can be sure that such a thing wouldn't exist in that school. The only explanation is that this memory has been hidden deep in your heart, and you've filled all the places you can't see with this monster... If we're talking about paranoia, I feel like you're the one suffering from this disease more."

Chu Zihang's lips moved, and he hesitated for a few seconds:

Why did you go into the women's restroom?

"Are you concerned about that? Or do you want to go in and take a look? Actually, there's nothing special about the women's restroom, except that it doesn't have the urinals like the men's restroom."

Lu Mingfei looked at Chu Zihang strangely, somewhat puzzled as to why he would ask such a question:

"We came in to find the truth. Given your personality, you would never go into the women's restroom, so if someone wants to hide something in a place you can't find, the women's restroom is the best choice."

Chu Zihang was somewhat embarrassed and handed the half of the spine back to Lu Mingfei:

"You still haven't told me what you're worried about me for."

"Oh, that was just an excuse."

"An excuse?"

Chu Zihang was stunned.

"You need to be more vigilant. I just said I was going to give you two psychological suggestions."

Lu Mingfei pointed to the road sign on the side road. The willow branches on it were dancing wildly against the wind in an eerie way. The words on the road sign were as clear as flashing neon lights in the gray rain. It read "Elevated Road Entrance..." followed by the entrance number.

000.

"What I just said is meant to reinforce your memory. Aren't you worried about your memory being wrong? So I can only guide you to get everything back on track."

Lu Mingfei said, "Now all the elements are gathered: rainy night, overpass, Maybach, and entrance number 000."

"So this is what you call psychological suggestion? What about Deadpool...?"

Chu Zihang looked down at the spine in Lu Mingfei's hand.

"It's true. I did encounter them in the women's restroom and even fought with them, but to be honest, I was a little disappointed. Their strength was far less than I had imagined."

Lu Mingfei casually tossed the spine out the window, patted the driver's seat, and gave a scholarly smile:

"Uncle, my senior brother found a road that seems to lead to an overpass. We don't know how long we'll be stuck in traffic here. Let's take the overpass."

Chu Zihang watched Lu Mingfei take a deep breath, transforming himself into the image of a sensible and well-behaved student, his tone as if he were truly a student eager to go home.

"Oh! I didn't even notice that road. How come I never noticed there was an elevated road entrance here before?"

The man scratched his head, then turned the steering wheel, and the car headed towards the fork in the road.

"Zihang, really. I have to trouble you to relay this kind of thing. We're all sitting in the car, you could have just told me directly... By the way, what's your name?"

Lu Mingfei's smile deepened, and he uttered the name without hesitation:

"My name is Hilbert Jean Angers."

The man slammed on the brakes, and the six-meter-long luxury car swerved in the middle of the road. His face changed, and he realized what a foolish thing he had done. He quickly shifted gears and alternated between the accelerator and the brake, bringing the Maybach to a stop almost touching the guardrail on the side of the road.

"Uncle, you look like you know me?"

Lu Mingfei raised an eyebrow.

"No, no, I was just a little surprised to find out you're a foreigner."

The man grinned and said.

"Oh, I thought you knew me, that's why you reacted so strongly."

Lu Mingfei nodded.

"Uncle doesn't have that much ability to get to know foreigners. My boss does know a lot of foreigners, but I'm just a driver. My boss doesn't take me out to dinner with his clients."

The man restarted the car, drove onto the side road, and glanced at the rearview mirror as he drove:

"I just didn't expect that Angers would look exactly like a Chinese person. If you hadn't said your name, no one would have known you were a foreigner. Are you Asian, Angers?"

"I don't think I've ever said I'm a foreigner, uncle."

Lu Mingfei said quietly.

"Anyone who hears this name will think it's a foreigner's name. I'm just a driver, and I'm not very knowledgeable. Please don't mind me, Angers."

The man chuckled, reached out and turned on the stereo, silently turning the volume up to the maximum. His eyes were fixed on the road ahead, and the windshield wipers were swinging wildly from side to side as if they were going crazy.

No one spoke in the car anymore. Lu Mingfei leaned back in his seat and looked at the man through the rearview mirror.

The man's face still showed embarrassment, but his eyes were as calm and serene as some kind of gemstone.

Indeed, the eyes don't lie. Even if a person can change their personality, the unspoken words will always seep out through another window.
