My mouth moves faster than my brain; I went viral on Running Man and the whole internet is laughing.

at the same time.

The atmosphere in the Running Man director's office was extremely tense.

Director Lu Hao leaned back in his chair, holding an unopened bottle of mineral water in his hand, his eyes fixed on the upcoming premiere ratings on his computer screen.

Today's premiere was more of a spectacle for the audience.

But for the production team, this was their job.

After the first season ended, there was a gap of almost a year before the second season, and there were also changes in the cast. People online kept predicting its failure.

Especially regarding Wang Baobao's absence from the first two episodes, when the official lineup was first announced, people in the comments section asked about it almost every day.

"Where's the baby?"

"Is it still Running Man if they don't have a baby?"

"Without all the original cast members, the second season is likely to flop."

In addition, Dilraba is also quite controversial.

She's popular, but she also has a lot of haters.

Some say she's pretty, some say she has no work to show, and some say the show invited her just for viewership.

As for Xu Yan...

Thinking of this, Lu Hao couldn't help but glance at the young man on the screen who was making everyone laugh.

When this person first joined the crew, he was really a nobody.

He's not famous enough, and he has almost no fans.

The fact that the production team used him was a risk in itself.

Amidst a complex mix of circumstances, even though Director Lu was satisfied with the overall quality of Running Man 2, he couldn't help but worry.

Just then.

The computer screen suddenly moved, revealing the premiere ratings.

3.2!

Upon seeing this number, Lu Hao, who had been leaning back in his chair, suddenly sat up straight.

He stared intently at the computer screen, then burst into laughter the next second.

"Hahahahaha!"

"It's safe! It's safe!"

Lu Hao laughed and slapped the armrest of the chair wildly, his tense mood turning into ecstasy.

3.2 What is the concept of viewership ratings?

There are no more than five variety shows in the entire entertainment industry that can surpass this 3.0 rating!

Not to mention 3.2!

The last episode of the first season of Running Man last year only had a 3.5 rating!

Such data will definitely shut up the haters and satisfy the station's higher-ups.

Suddenly, a series of messages popped up in the lower right corner of the computer screen.

The assistant director's image flashed wildly.

Immediately afterwards, one data table after another was sent over.

"Director Lu! The data department just compiled the statistics!"

"Number one in viewership during its premiere time slot!"

"Record broken for total real-time bullet comments!"

"Within twenty minutes of the first episode's premiere, platform engagement had already surpassed that of the first season at the same time!"

"Eight out of the top ten trending topics on Weibo are related to Running Man!"

"People have already started posting clips from short video platforms!"

The messages kept coming in, practically slamming into Lu Hao's face.

Lu Hao opened the data files one by one, his smile growing wider.

When he opened a document titled "Statistics on the Number of Bullet Comments Related to Celebrities," a look of surprise immediately appeared in his eyes.

Among the millions of bullet comments, the person whose name was mentioned most often was Deng Chao.

The second place goes to Chen Chichi.

The third one is... Xu Yan!

Lu Hao was somewhat surprised.

Deng Chao and Chen Chichi ranking first and second were within his expectations.

After all, one of them is the team leader, and the other is the source of humor in variety shows.

Xu Yan...

It's amazing how quickly he became the most talked-about guest.

"It seems I underestimated this kid's influence."

Lu Hao's expression changed slightly, clearly indicating that he had gained a new understanding of Xu Yan.

……

Meanwhile, after the premiere ended.

The popularity of Running Man 2 is soaring across the entire internet.

Eight out of the top ten trending topics are related to Running Man Season 2.

On Douyin (TikTok), clips of Running Man 2 are everywhere, and viewers are enjoying them immensely.

Xu Yan had only been leaning against the headboard and scrolling through comments for a while when the notifications on her phone kept coming in.

The number of followers on Weibo keeps jumping up almost every time it's refreshed.

720,000, 750,000, 790,000, 830,000!

His homepage comment section is incredibly lively.

"I came from Running Man, I'll follow you first."

"Xu Yan, you'd better keep being this funny."

"He was a bit cheeky, but he was really good at creating variety show effects."

"I really enjoyed watching the name tag ripping scene."

"Dilraba fans initially wanted to criticize you, but you're actually quite funny. Let's observe first."

Xu Yan looked at the last comment and a smile appeared on his lips.

"They've lured Dilraba's fans here."

at the same time.

The number of plays for "Little Love Song" began to skyrocket.

Initially, this song was only being listened to by his few fans on Weibo and viewers of the Running Man live stream.

But after the premiere, more and more people searched for "Xu Yan" and discovered that he had actually released a song.

As a result, a large number of casual listeners flooded into the song's comment section.

"Wait, Xu Yan can sing too?"

"I thought he was just the one who was good at witty banter on Running Man, but his singing is actually quite good?"

"I got goosebumps as soon as the chorus came on."

"Is this really original? It doesn't seem like a hobby."

"He's so cheeky on variety shows, how come his singing is so clean?"

"..."

Even more outrageous, someone on Douyin edited the chorus of "Little Love Song" into the main interaction between Xu Yan and Dilraba.

The first half of the show consisted of the two bickering with each other.

The second half of the film shows Xu Yan carrying Reba and running away, while Reba glares at him angrily.

The final frame freezes on the moment Dilraba looks at Xu Yanxiao.

The caption was only one sentence.

Some feelings of affection are hard to express verbally, but they're fully conveyed in songs.

The video garnered over 150,000 likes in less than two hours after it was posted.

The comments section went completely crazy.

"I declare that the 'Hot Couple' is going crazy tonight."

"Could this song really be written for Dilraba?"

"Never mind whether it's true or not, just kowtow as a sign of respect."

"Xu Yan is so good at this. If I were Dilraba, I would marry him."

"..."

With such high popularity, "Little Love Song" soared into the top ten of the new song charts on Tencent Music and Soda Music overnight!

The number of views has exceeded 20 million!

Three o'clock in the morning.

Xu Yan's Weibo followers have once again surpassed one million!

"Ugh..."

He looked at his seven-figure number of followers in the back office and took a deep breath.

next second.

"Cool!!!"

He shouted, feeling incredibly happy!

After being sidelined and silenced for so long, he has finally made a comeback!

Although it's not completely finished yet, it's already a very good start!

Just then, the system notification sounded again.

【Ding! 】

[The first episode of Running Man Season 2 has been released.]

[A large amount of happy emotion was detected.]

[Happiness points for this round: +200000.]

"Two hundred thousand?"

Xu Yan's eyes lit up instantly.

It seems that watching the full episodes brings more joy than watching the live stream!

"System, is there a one-click double-click function?" Xu Yan asked.

【none.】

"It's okay, we'll record one more episode, and we can even have a triple combo!"

Xu Yan decided to save up for now.

Once we can do a triple combo with one click, maybe we can get another lucky critical hit.

He then fell asleep with a beautiful feeling in his heart.

……

Two days later.

The fourth season of Running Man has begun filming.
