I started by enhancing cancer cells and uniquely obtained the Godhood Sequence.

"Holy crap, this really is like a game, there are rewards for killing monsters!?"

After Lin Mo's demonstration, many people realized that the alien demon in front of them was not as powerful as they had imagined.

Although most people still dare not get close, those with ranged skills have begun to attempt attacks.

"Fireball! Fireball! Fireball!"

Three fireballs were thrown into the Noc Demon horde, and one of them actually hit.

Flames instantly ignited along the monster's body.

"Haha, I killed a monster too!"

The students became excited.

Seeing that someone had killed another monster, the other students also began to try to join the battle.

Although the Noc Demons look intimidating with their sharp claws and teeth, they are small and slender, and even ordinary people with weapons can fight them.

Not to mention that most people possess divinely bestowed talents.

As long as we stay calm and deal with it, the first wave of beasts will be easy prey and won't pose much of a threat.

"A powerful blow!"

"Wind Blade!"

"Fireball!"

"..."

Skills began flying around the arena.

He unleashed his skills on the Noc Demon in front of him as if they were free.

Seeing this, Lin Mo silently took a few steps back and stood at the back of the crowd.

In the early stages of the game, the most important thing to guard against is not monsters, but these newbies who know nothing and yet use their skills recklessly.

Sure enough, many people in the crowd were accidentally injured by their teammates' skills.

But because of this, the monsters in the classroom die very quickly.

A few minutes later, all the Noc Demons were wiped out.

[Ding! Congratulations to the player for successfully repelling the first wave of beasts! Reward: Time +1 hour!]

[Countdown to the next beast tide: 9 minutes and 59 seconds...]

The students breathed a sigh of relief upon receiving the system notification.

Looking at the corpses scattered on the ground, many people had a look of absurdity on their faces.

But there are also people with extremely strong adaptability, such as the school beauty Zhang Lanlan.

She had somehow gotten close to Lin Mo and asked, feigning concern:

"Lin Mo, are you hurt?"

"You have no idea how worried I was when I saw you rush out!"

Her soft voice, neither too loud nor too soft, drew the attention of the previously quiet classroom.

The students all turned their gazes to Lin Mo, their eyes revealing a hint of envy.

Wang Ze, in particular, had a clear look of jealousy on his face.

During the first wave of the beast tide, he was the one who killed the most monsters.

Five Noc Demons were killed!

Unfortunately, in the end, all we received was a reward of [time + 1 hour] for everyone.

Why is it that I only have this much, while he can still enjoy the adoration of the school beauty?

Wang Ze, feeling indignant, finally coughed lightly and said loudly:

"Listen up, everyone, the next wave of beasts is coming. We must concentrate our efforts to fight the monsters."

He raised his arm and called out, drawing everyone's attention away from Lin Mo and onto himself.

As soon as he said that, he immediately received support.

"That's right, unity is strength!"

"Wang Ze is right, we can't stay scattered like before, we need to team up!"

"..."

Seeing that more and more people were supporting him, a hint of pride flashed in Wang Ze's eyes, and he continued:

"Alright, since everyone supports forming a team, let's share our talents. I'll go first; I have a C-rank divinely bestowed talent—Strength Amplification."

He had just finished speaking when someone exclaimed in surprise, "Damn, Brother Wang actually has a C-level talent! That's amazing! I only have an E-level talent—Air Cannon."

"I have an F-level talent, Mighty Punch."

"Rank D, Ice Armor"

"..."

After the students announced their talents one by one, it was discovered that Wang Ze was the only player in the class with a C-level talent.

"Holy crap, Brother Wang is awesome! He's the strongest gifted individual in our class!"

The boy named Ye Tao immediately began to flatter him.

Wang Ze's expression grew increasingly smug, and when he heard Lin Mo say that he didn't have divinely bestowed talent, his eyes immediately turned contemptuous:

"So you don't even have any talent, huh? What's the use of those attribute points then? It's a complete waste!"

His jealousy deepened.

He was clearly the most talented person in the class, but Lin Mo took the lead.

The others were also surprised to find that Lin Mo, who was the first to rush out and kill the monster, was actually a useless person with no talent.

Soon, the respect people had for Lin Mo was replaced by disdain.

At this moment, Ye Tao immediately shouted, "Lin Mo, you should give your attribute points to Brother Wang. Brother Wang is the only C-level God-giver in our class. Only he can carry us to victory."

After he finished speaking, a hint of approval appeared in Wang Ze's eyes.

Seeing this, Ye Tao became even more enthusiastic: "Hurry up and hand it over. You're someone without any talent, so aren't you still relying on us for protection?"

This is blatantly stealing the reward from Lin Mo.

However, not a single student in the class spoke up for Lin Mo.

They either turned their heads away, pretending not to see, or, like Wang Ze, stared greedily at Lin Mo.

Everyone has seen the personal attribute panel. Among newbies whose average attribute is only 1 point, the reward of [Attribute +10] is definitely a lucrative prize.

Anyone who sees it will want to take a bite.

However, they didn't have Wang Ze's strength, so they could only watch from the sidelines.

At this moment, his former classmates all turned into wolves and tigers, staring at Lin Mo with predatory eyes.

Lin Mo simply said:

"Attribute points are not equipment and cannot be traded or transferred."

"Besides, I've already allocated all my attribute points."

Wang Ze frowned slightly, a hint of suspicion flashing in his eyes.

But then I thought, if I were the one who got the attribute points, I would definitely be eager to add them as well.

Thinking of this, he couldn't help but feel a little regretful, and finally snorted coldly, "You better not lie to me."

Before Lin Mo could say anything, Zhang Lanlan, who was standing next to him, stepped forward and took Wang Ze's arm.

"Brother Wang, you were amazing! You killed so many monsters all by yourself!"

Upon hearing the school beauty's praise, Wang Ze's face showed a hint of excitement.

Before the game was released, he was of average appearance and his circumstances were even worse than Lin Mo's.

A beauty of Zhang Lanlan's caliber wouldn't even give him a second glance, but unexpectedly, the other party is now taking the initiative to come close to him.

Feeling the softness from Lin Mo's arm, Wang Ze felt a surge of pleasure and even raised an eyebrow at him provocatively.

Lin Mo was not surprised to see this.

In her previous life, Zhang Lanlan didn't just follow Wang Ze in the early stages of the game. Later, she also moved among several big shots in the 911 newbie zone. She could be described as a social butterfly in the 911 newbie zone.

Unfortunately, he ultimately died at the hands of monsters due to insufficient strength, and did not even survive the beast tide at the beginning of the game.

Lin Mo wouldn't even glance at a woman like that, even if she offered herself to him.

He ignored Wang Ze and Zhang Lanlan, and instead turned his gaze to his personal panel, where a line of text was clearly written:

[Unallocated attribute points: 10]

That's right, he didn't use the attribute points that the system had just rewarded him with at all.

In the Eternal Kingdom, players with innate skills are called God-given, while players like Lin Mo who lack talent are called God-abandoned.

They are not accepted by the gods from birth, and are even cursed by the rules of the game world, so in addition to being abandoned by the gods, they have another name: the cursed.

Generally speaking, time flows faster for those who are cursed than for ordinary divine beings.

What takes an ordinary divinely gifted person one minute, they need two minutes, or even more.

At first, Lin Mo also thought it was a curse.

It was only later that it was discovered that those born with curses often possess extraordinary talents…

A thought flashed through his mind, and the system panel in front of him suddenly switched between several interfaces, opening the hidden attribute panel.

The above not only details individual attributes but also displays real-time personal status. He found the display of "cancer cells" in the negative status section.

A system warning came through my ear:

[Danger Warning: Enhancing cancer cells will accelerate the host's life force depletion. Proceed with the operation?]

Without any hesitation, Lin Mo directly added all 10 unallocated attribute points to the cancer cells.

[Ding! Enhancement successful, cancer cells are rapidly spreading...]

[Time -10min, Time -10min, Time...]

The time attribute keeps decreasing. The initial 10 minutes and 1 hour of completion rewards from killing the Noc Demon are completely wiped out, and the "debt" is accumulating at a visible speed.

At the same time, he clearly felt an unbearable pain coming from all over his body.

It felt as if countless insects had burrowed into the cracks of his bones, sucking his marrow and gnawing at his flesh.

Anyone else would probably faint from the pain.

However, Lin Mo was unusually excited, completely ignoring the pain in his body, and his eyes were fixed on the time being deducted on the panel.

Finally, the system voice sounded again:

[Ding! Player detected as being in newbie protection period. All deducted time has been cleared. Current remaining time: 0]

Before he could react, he heard another notification:

[Ding! Unknown curse ability awakened: Cancer]

Become!
