"The Knights have charged in!"

Ao Mai squinted, gazing at the Great Wall Knights who were advancing straight into the White Ghost Army in the distance.

With her eyesight, she naturally saw the enormous female giant on the battlefield, and the senses in her blood told her...

Lin Mo was in the White Ghost Clan's army formation ahead.

Aomai addressed her subordinates:

"Guard the gates of the Great Wall! We can't let a single white devil climb onto the walls from here!"

The subordinates all shouted, "Yes, sir!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than several more white ghosts suddenly attacked from the shadows.

Like the White Ghosts who initially attacked the city walls, they were old and powerful, far superior to ordinary White Ghost assassins.

"Hiss... Little girl, Lin Mo is in the middle of the army formation, what can you use to stop us!"

An old white ghost sneered.

Aoi narrowed her eyes and threw the explosive tag in her hand:

"Flying Shadow - Explosion!!!"

With a soft shout, countless explosive tags appeared again on the scene.

"You're insane!!!"

The old white ghost leading the group widened his eyes, but instead of forcibly attacking, he took a step back and disappeared.

The other White Ghost assassins weren't as lucky; their reactions weren't timely, and by the time they wanted to retreat, it was too late.

"Boom boom boom boom..."

The explosions continued unabated, once again engulfing an area within a hundred meters of the city.

"That girl is insane!!!"

Old White Ghost gritted his teeth and stared intently at the explosion site in the distance, then looked down at the charred patch on his chest, as if he could smell a faint aroma of meat.

Although he retreated very quickly, he was still affected.

"These newly emerged race's little fellows are all monsters!"

A hint of anger appeared on Old White Ghost's face.

For a newly emerging race to produce a monster like Lin Mo is already a rare occurrence.

The sudden appearance of the female giant in the army formation gave him a sense of déjà vu, as if the Eternal Titans had descended.

Fortunately, the other party was a hybrid race that had no relation to the Eternals.

Now another girl has come along who's exposed herself...

"Damn it, he's either a monster or a madman!"

Old White Ghost stared intently at the scene of the explosion.

Such explosive force would be unbearable even for them, who were at the peak of the ninth rank, let alone a professional who had not yet reached the eighth rank.

What are you going to use to carry this?

Even if he doesn't die, he'll be crippled!

"Heh heh... Since you're courting death, I'll send you on your final journey!"

Old White Ghost said with a sinister smile.

For him, Aomai's actions were undoubtedly courting death; he was practically a "dead man" already sealed.

As the smoke and dust gradually dissipated, her figure appeared before the old white ghost.

As he expected, Ao Ma-i looked like a piece of "charcoal," and her appearance was so bad that she could not even be seen as human. Her health had dropped to the bottom.

Forget about him finishing off the enemy; he'd probably die instantly if he were just caught in the crossfire of any attack on the battlefield.

"Heh heh... He really went all out, what a pity!"

The instant the word "了" landed, the old white ghost rushed towards the lone figure in green hemp clothing standing amidst the charred remains.

"kill!!!"

Just as Old White Ghost was about to take Qingmayi away with a single stroke, a cold laugh suddenly appeared on his charred face, and a clear, cold voice rang out:

"Got you!"

Old White Ghost frowned slightly, and the next moment he felt as if his feet had stepped into a swamp, and his speed suddenly slowed down.

He looked down sharply and saw that the ground beneath the scorched earth was gradually beginning to glow.

"This is... a trap!?"

Old White Ghost's pupils contracted slightly.

As a top assassin, he naturally knew how to set traps.

But he didn't even notice?

careless...

However, there is still hope!

Old White Ghost took a small step back, intending to repeat his old trick.

That's how assassins operate: if they miss their first strike, they retreat far away and try again...

Anyway, Aoi on the other side is already a "dead man".

"Too late!"

"Qingmayi said coldly, gripping a shuriken in the air horizontally, and took a step forward.

"Flash Gap!"

The next moment, her figure disappeared in front of the old white ghost.

Old White Ghost was startled again, and his movements slowed down by half a beat once more.

By the time he saw Qingmayi, the other person's shuriken had already pierced his chest.

Pain followed...

Old White Ghost stared in astonishment at the other party, whose flesh, which had been charred, was being repaired at a visible speed, and whose health was rapidly returning.

He stared intently into Qingmayi's eyes, spitting out a mouthful of blood:

"What kind of technology is this!?"

He wasn't referring to Aomai's [Flying Shadow] skill, nor to this inexplicable rapid recovery skill, but rather to the combat technique that had suddenly vanished before his eyes—

Flash gap

As a member of the White Demon Clan who insisted on following the assassin path, he spent most of his life studying the White Demon Clan's stealthy combos.

Concealment, stealth assassination, and the Eye of Insight... he had almost mastered them to the highest level.

Even when facing Lin Mo, whose stats far surpassed his own, he was able to escape by the skin of his teeth.

He was obsessed with honing his assassination skills throughout his life, but he never expected to encounter a top-notch teleportation technique at the end of his life.

Just now, although he could vaguely smell the other person's presence, the other person's figure had indeed disappeared from his sight.

He was certain that this was not a skill from the Eternal Kingdom, but rather a rather advanced combat technique.

Moreover, it's clear that the little girl in front of me hasn't used it to its fullest potential.

I really want to see where this move's limit is!

Old White Ghost sighed inwardly.

Unfortunately……

He has no chance.

In a battle between assassins, victory or defeat can be decided in a single moment.

In this match, Aomai won.

Ao Mai frowned slightly. She didn't want to answer the question, but in the end, she replied anyway:

"Flash gap".

A hint of surprise flashed in Old White Ghost's eyes:

"I know what it means now, and I know how to use it!"

"Hehehe... What a clever idea! How come I didn't think of that? How come I didn't think of that? What a pity, what a pity..."

As he muttered to himself, the hand gripping the sword slowly lost its strength and fell limply to his side, his expression gradually stiffening...

"The enemy has been killed!"

A kill notification floated above his head.

Ao Mai slowly withdrew her hand from the sword in her hand, and glanced at the old white ghost's corpse, which was slowly collapsing to the ground, with a complicated expression.

Despite being enemies, she seemed to understand the meaning of every word they said.

The last phrase, "What a pity," is a double entendre.

He regretted that he only learned about [Flash Gap] so late, and he also regretted that Qingmayi's use of [Flash Gap] was not the perfect version, so he didn't get to see the true limit of this move...

Even though they were rivals, Ao Mai still felt a sense of respect for the old White Demon at this moment.

The reason is simple: he was a real assassin.

However, Ao Mai's gaze did not linger on the other party for long. She quickly stepped over the corpse and looked coldly at the white demon assassins who were constantly attacking from afar.

It seemed to be said both to himself and to the old white ghost lying on the ground:

"There's nothing to regret, because I've already seen what the view from the summit looks like, so..."

"I will eventually follow that person and reach the top."
