On the grass in the ecological park, dark red blood stained the entire area, and there were chunks of zombie flesh and corpses everywhere.

The fresh scent of grass was gone, replaced by a strong smell of rust and dead rats.

More and more dark red threads appeared on the surface of the black river, and the threads floated downstream.

The sound of blades slicing through flesh was gone from the grass, as was the sound of zombies devouring blood and flesh; only the screams and cries of civilians and the excited roars of zombies remained.

Zhang Zizhong knelt on one knee on yet another mountain of corpses, this one being higher and larger than the previous one.

The old hero who fought his way out of those two mountains of corpses is already dead...

The old hero had bled to death, and there wasn't a single piece of flesh left on his body.

But he did not fall; his right hand still gripped the hilt of the [Slaying Bandit Greatsword].

This [Slaying Bandit Greatsword] was planted fiercely atop the mountain of corpses, the dark red cloth strip at the end of the hilt fluttering in the still air atop the mountain, seemingly carrying a sense of resentment.

At this moment, hundreds of Class C Japanese zombies were chasing the group of civilians.

Before they could even mourn Zhang Zizhong, the zombies shifted their target and chased after them, forcing them to the riverbank.

They have nowhere left to retreat; if they retreat any further, they'll have to jump into the river.

Hikawa Kenyu looked up at Zhang Zizhong, who was kneeling on one knee on the mountain of corpses, and at the dark red cloth that was moving without wind.

He murmured to himself:

"What a terrifying people!"

As he spoke, Hisumura Kensuke looked at the figure standing on a sword atop Kinrin Castle.

Countless flying swords were rapidly flying above her head, and the sound of their cries could be clearly heard even from the opposite bank of the river.

Kensuke Himura gently stroked the blade of his katana, muttering to himself once more:

"No wonder our predecessors couldn't do it; even we might not be able to do it now..."

Kensuke Himura suddenly looked up at the sky, his eyes, which had previously seemed uninterested in everything, suddenly becoming interested.

A giant, dark green zombie dragon was seen swooping down from the sky like a fighter jet.

A figure leaped directly off the dragon's back and crashed onto the lawn.

'Bang!'

This caused the dark red blood on the lawn to be shaken into the air. The bright red and dark red blood droplets flew straight into the air, and then, as they lost their kinetic energy, they were suddenly pulled down by gravity.

In an instant, the lawn looked as if it had been rained blood.

However, the figure that leaped down from the dragon's back had a pale yellow shield around him, so the blood rain couldn't reach him.

In contrast, Kengo Hikawa was drenched in blood.

He really wanted to hide in the ginkgo forest, but that wouldn't look cool...

So he let the blood rain down on him, staining his loose white skirt and trousers dark red.

Kensuke Himawari pretended to be indifferent, but secretly he was quite hoping that he would also have a shield-like skill...

The zombie dragon did not stop its fighter jet-like dive; it spread its wings and soared over the zombies chasing civilians, creating a sonic boom.

The dark green zombie dragon fired a corrosive venom directly at the C-level Japanese zombie.

These C-level Japanese zombies were drenched in a strong acidic venom that caused 180 points of poison damage, turning any zombies that dared to pursue civilians into skeletons.

The grass leaves contaminated with the venom dried up and turned black, then crumbled into dust, with wisps of white vapor rising up, like the liquid nitrogen effect on a stage.

The zombie dragon deliberately sprayed its corrosive venom in a semi-circle outside the civilians to prevent zombies from entering and to protect the civilians.

The remaining C-level Japanese zombies that hadn't been doused with venom recklessly stepped into the venom-infested area.

As soon as they stepped into the green, corrosive venom, their legs began to melt into bones, and they collapsed to the ground, their bodies turning into skeletons as well.

A giant, dark green dragon descended before the civilians. It spread its wings, which could blot out the sky, towards the hundreds of zombies still surrounding it, and roared loudly.

Like a tiger roaring from the forest!

This dragon roar instantly paralyzed hundreds of C-level Japanese zombies, causing their bodies to tremble uncontrollably, with some even kneeling before the zombie dragon.

However, ordinary people were not affected at all.

Because Jiang Chen gave the zombie dragon a death order:

"You must protect them! If even one of them gets hurt, I'll chop off your dragon head and use it as a chamber pot!"

The zombie dragon had no doubt that its master would actually do this.

In order to stay by its master's side, it used all its strength against the C-level Japanese zombie without holding back!

Thus, the common people witnessed such a horrifying scene.

A zombie dragon not only didn't treat them like snacks, but instead protected them with all its might and slaughtered the group of zombies.

The C-grade Japanese zombies were no match for the dragon and were mercilessly swallowed whole...

This little female dragon was genuinely afraid of Jiang Chen, and wished she could whip herself to constantly squeeze out her potential.

If she has 10 points of ability, she'd rather unleash 120 points...

Jiang Chen, carrying an S-rank katana in his left hand, ignored Hikawa Kensuke's gaze and stepped over the corpses of the Japanese chickens, walking step by step up the mountain of corpses.
