I told you to change your skills, and you changed them into a nuclear explosion immortal?

You've discovered the Shadow Castle!

You've discovered the Corpse Manor!

After stepping through the portal, which resembled a city gate, the voice of the world's will resounded in the minds of Lu Yun and the other two.

Before the three could even see the situation clearly, the mechanical voice of the world rang out again.

【warn! 】

[You have entered the Infernal Castle - Purgatory Mode!]

[Random curse has been generated]

[Venom: Your health, defense, and attack power are reduced by 50%]

[Brutal: Increases the attack power, attack speed, and movement speed of all enemies by 50%]

[Critical Hit: Damage dealt by enemies will cause you to bleed for 20 seconds]

[Rage: When an enemy's health drops to 30%, it will evolve into a berserk state.]

【Fountain: When an enemy dies, a pool of thick blood will be left at their location. Touching it will cause a 20-second confusion and bleeding state.】

"This, this..."

After hearing the broadcast, Xu Qingmeng and Li Zian were dumbfounded.

"His health and attack power have decreased by 50%, but the monster has become 50% stronger. With a single peck and a drink, this monster's strength is twice that of a normal Infernal-level monster!"

"And that doesn't even mention the other affixes..."

"This...this is Hell Mode...?"

Xu Qingmeng's pupils dilated violently as she looked at the withered grassland in front of her, which resembled a pasture, and was greatly shocked.

The monsters in Purgatory Mode are already 10 times stronger than those in Hell Mode. With this new affix, she can't even imagine how strong these monsters are, or how strong the BOSS must be.

You should know that a large dungeon doesn't just have one boss. For example, the level 30 Corpse Castle has three bosses!

[The Corpse - Purgatory] (Intermediate)

[Race]: Undead

[Level]: Lv31

[Physical Attack]: 4011-4232

[Magic Attack]: 2234-2423

[Health Points]: 52354

[Mana Points]: 30002

[Skills]: Claw Strike, Corrosion, Berserk

"A mere physical monster has ten times more magical attack power than me, a mage?"

"There are still over 5 HP left?"

Upon seeing the monster's illustration in the distance, Xu Qingmeng slowly opened her mouth, her eyes filled with astonishment.

"Lu Yun, you shouldn't have chosen to do the quest here. There are plenty of level 30 dungeons, and there are just too many monsters and bosses here."

If there aren't many, why not choose?

Lu Yun smiled, also curious about the affix.

However, it's unclear how much the damage of Fireball and Ice Lance will decrease after a 50% reduction.

"It's not a big problem."

"This isn't a big problem?"

Xu Qingmeng's eyelids twitched, and she was dumbfounded.

She had just looked and saw that the monsters, which were supposed to spawn only when triggered, were now scattered all over the ground.

Judging by the quantity alone, it is five times more than the normal mode.

In addition to the two affixes that enhance or weaken, there are also double bleed effects and berserk effects.

No need to blame anyone; even a touch of that monster's blood after it died would be enough to keep you alive for less than two seconds with your pitiful 2 HP.

Is that all?

Upon hearing this, Lu Yun slowly took out the Magic Rat Staff and said calmly.

Do you believe me?

Seeing Lu Yun slowly turn his head to look at her, Xu Qingmeng, who was still very anxious, was instantly stunned.

That's a very ambiguous question.

But for some reason, she nodded as if possessed.

"I...I believe you..."

"Okay, you two stand behind me and don't run around."

"Wait a minute, Brother Yun, we... it seems we don't have a tank..."

At this moment, Li Zian, who had been in shock, finally came to his senses and offered some very constructive advice.

At that moment, Xu Qingmeng also realized what was happening.

"This, this..."

Two lawyers and one thief, each more fragile than the last.

She couldn't even think of any other profession that was more fragile than these two.

Thieves are somewhat better off, at least they have the ability to dodge. But what about mages? Newly awakened mages lack even basic skills, so how can they possibly tank?

"I'll do it."

Xu Qing dreamed for a moment. After all, she was an epic-level mage. With her dual talents and three skills, flying a kite shouldn't be a problem for her.

"I'll go and stir up trouble and fly a kite; you guys act accordingly."

After saying that, she instantly pulled out her staff and pointed it at the rotting corpse monster shrouded in black mist 30 meters away, and began to unleash her skill.

"Ice Spike!"

In an instant.

An ice needle appeared in front of Xu Qingmeng, and then, through condensation, slowly solidified into an ice cone the size of a longsword.

During this time, she was also quickly deploying tactics.

"I'll attack one monster, then run to the open space on the left. Once I've aggroed the monster, Lu Yun, you attack, and Li Zi'an will finish it off."

"Remember, never let the monsters touch us. With our low health, one hit will kill us."

Xu Qingmeng was very quick, and Lu Yun didn't even have a chance to speak.

However, he wouldn't let Xu Qingmeng do it, otherwise things would get chaotic and affect his performance.

"As long as you don't get touched, it'll be fine, right?"

Xu Qingmeng was taken aback, and blurted out.

"How is that possible?"

"Do you have a skill that can control monsters? But that would require at least a rare-level skill to have strong control capabilities, right?"

Lu Yun raised an eyebrow and raised his staff.

"Rare grade? No, my Ice Spike spell is only at the white beginner level."

"White Basic Ice Spike? Isn't that... the same as my skill...?"

Seeing an ice spike, even larger than a large water vat, suddenly appear in front of Lu Yun, Xu Qingmeng was completely dumbfounded before she could finish speaking.

Especially since she was standing next to Lu Yun, her small and exquisite ice spike looked particularly cute compared to Lu Yun's.

"This? This???"

"Whoosh! Whoosh!"

She had already completed the Ice Spike spell, and it was automatically released at this moment.

Seeing this, Lu Yun also threw out an ice spike.

"Bang!!!"

"Bang!"

Xu Qingmeng: ...

Li Zian: ...

Seeing that his small ice spike only shattered some ice shards on the corpse's head, while Lu Yun's ice spike exploded into a large cloud of ice mist.

In fact, the damage she suffered was less than a fraction of the damage Lu Yun inflicted.

The two were completely stunned.

Especially after the icy fog dissipated, and all the Yin Corpses within a 5-meter radius of the hit Yin Corpse were frozen into icicles.

Xu Qingmeng was dumbfounded.

"No, it's not..."

She stared at Lu Yun in astonishment, her face stiff.

"It's the Ice Age already? You call this a basic white skill?"

Lu Yun looked at her with a somewhat blank expression.

"Oh right? It's white, beginner level, and it's the same skill as yours."

Are they the same???

"How are they different?"

"Everywhere is different, okay???"

Putting aside the absurdly large size of the ice cone, just consider the speed at which it condenses instantly and arrives before being released—what kind of speed is that?

And that doesn't even include the outrageous damage caused!

Compared to your ice spike technique, my ice spike is like a matchstick stirring a large water tank!

Same as before?

Do you even want to listen to what you're saying?

Xu Qingmeng trembled with anger, her breathing becoming rapid.

"Aww!!!"

"Aww!!!"

Just as Xu Qingmeng was about to break down, Li Zian was stunned.

The attacked undead instantly went berserk.

Because it's Purgatory mode, the monsters' behavior mechanics are different from normal mode.

If you draw the aggro of one monster, it's equivalent to drawing the aggro of all monsters within your field of vision.

In addition, there were thousands of monsters in the open space in front of them, which was comparable in size to a football field.

This caused an uproar, and they all charged forward, baring their teeth and claws.

Seeing the swarming black mist monsters moving faster than normal people, Xu Qingmeng's expression changed drastically.

"Oh no! I forgot that the aggro mechanism is different in Purgatory Mode!"

After saying that, she disregarded her public image and her shyness, grabbed Lu Yun's wrist, and tried to run away.

"Lu Yun! Run!"

"Need not."

Seeing the monster charging towards him, Lu Yun was not afraid at all; on the contrary, he was even happier.

He was worried about how to gather the monsters, since although his damage was high, his health was limited. If he rushed in to gather the monsters, he wouldn't be able to withstand too many attacks.

The monsters have all gathered here, saving him a lot of trouble.

Upon hearing this, Xu Qingmeng became extremely anxious.

"Your damage is indeed high, but it takes at least 10 skill casts to kill a single monster."

"And your skill can only freeze monsters within a range of about 10 meters. With so many monsters coming at once, even if you cast your skill quickly and have a 100% freeze rate, you still can't freeze them all one by one, can you?"

She was telling the truth, but she overlooked one thing.

"Who said I had to freeze them one by one?"

Xu Qingmeng was stunned, her mind still processing what Lu Yun meant.

next second.

Lu Yun raised his staff, and dozens of ice spikes the size of water tanks instantly appeared in front of him.

Then, as she slowly opened her mouth wide, her eyes filled with astonishment.

Like having an unlimited supply of bullets, it began to fire wildly.

"Ice Age? No, it's a Gatling gun blazing with blue flames!"
