I told you to change your skills, and you changed them into a nuclear explosion immortal?

Chapter 18: A Super Harvest! Exclusive Job Scroll! Take Off from the Spot!

"Holy crap?! Double happiness!!!"

Upon hearing this, Lu Yun shuddered, and his breathing instantly became rapid.

The system is being upgraded, which is absolutely fantastic news, but it's currently under upgrade, so we can't watch it even if we want to.

And this professional scroll is undoubtedly the most important thing right now!

Ignoring everything else, he quickly opened his backpack and found a golden scroll.

"Holy crap? Gold???"

Lu Yun's eyes widened, feeling as if his heart was about to jump out of his throat.

He truly never expected that he would be so incredibly lucky as to obtain an exclusive professional scroll!

And what's more! It's the highest grade, gold!!!

Ignoring Xu Qingmeng and Li Zian who rushed over after hearing the commotion, Lu Yun quickly checked the scroll information.

【Exclusive Job Change Scroll (Gold)】: After use, you can choose one of the three exclusive jobs to complete the job change (cannot be traded).

"Holy crap??? It's a choice of three???"

Lu Yun's hand trembled, and his mouth involuntarily opened wide.

Putting aside how difficult it is to obtain a professional scroll, this gold-level professional scroll is absolutely worth hundreds of millions of gold!

Not to mention, this reel broke the mold of professional reels which only had two modes: random and fixed.

This was enough to shock him beyond measure.

Of course, even if this scroll could be traded, he wouldn't sell it.

Xu Qingmeng saw him staring at the scroll in his hand in shock. The well-informed Xu Qingmeng was stunned for a moment, then her eyes widened instantly.

"You...you didn't unlock a special class scroll after changing jobs, did you?"

"That's right!"

Since the two were not outsiders, Lu Yun didn't hide anything and posted the screenshots directly.

After watching it, Xu Qingmeng and the other woman slowly opened their mouths wide, their bodies numb.

"Holy crap??? Yun-ge? You're about to take off! Holy crap?! A three-option scroll? I've never even heard of that!!!"

"A golden scroll, and a choice of one of three professions—this is many times more powerful than a fixed profession!"

The two were so excited that their whole bodies were trembling, and they didn't know how to congratulate Lu Yun.

Upon hearing this, Lu Yun laughed heartily.

"I never expected to get such an exclusive scroll! Even if it's just this one, this is a huge profit!"

The equipment is good, but it becomes useless as you level up.

But career advancement is about a professional's future. Can these two be compared? There's absolutely no comparison!

Xu Qingmeng understood this perfectly, and disregarding the difference between men and women, she quickly grabbed his arm and shook it excitedly.

"Quick, quick! Use it now! Let's see what class you can get!"

Lu Yun couldn't hide his smile and clicked "use".

"this???"

"Three mythical-level classes???"

After reading it, not only Xu Qingmeng and Li Zian, but even Lu Yun was dumbfounded.

To understand why the exclusive professional scroll is so awesome, you need to know...

Because it has been upgraded to a specific profession, it can be promoted!

This is also the only chance to defy fate and overcome the original rarity of a profession.

This is also why a job change scroll is so expensive.

Of course, high rarity does not necessarily mean that a profession is absolutely awesome.

However, a higher rarity level definitely makes a profession more powerful than one with a lower rarity level.

The biggest difference between the two lies in the four-dimensional stat boosts provided during upgrades, as well as the talents!

As mentioned before, rare-level professions are a watershed moment; the further down the ladder you go, the higher the probability of encountering a talent.

Whether one possesses talent is the benchmark for measuring the strength of a profession.

This talent provides an immense boost to one's profession.

But now, these three professions start at the Gold Myth level.

Once he changes jobs, he will immediately gain three talents, one more than Xu Qingmeng, and of even better quality.

"Job change scrolls are already extremely rare, and now you've directly obtained one of three choices, all of which are mythical-level classes! Lu Yun, you've taken off! You've really taken off!"

Once she came to her senses, Xu Qingmeng was incredibly excited, as if she were the one who had obtained the scroll.

Of course, Lu Yun was also very excited, as he was a direct beneficiary.

"It's really taking off. I heard that there are only 4 people in the four northern provinces who have switched to the gold mythical level this year. I guess I've caught up from behind."

Although they were already at the Gold Myth level, they had no chance to level up after their career advancement, which was fundamentally different from Lu Yun.

After all, they are already at the Gold Myth level. Even if they were given a job change scroll, they would most likely not risk reducing their job strength by doing so.

"By the way, Lu Yun, which profession are you planning to switch to?"

"That must be an elemental mage! Elemental mages are awesome! Their spells are like something out of a disco, so cool!"

Li Zian was excitedly offering suggestions, completely oblivious to Lu Yun's bewildered expression.

The elemental mage is indeed awesome, but he also has a nickname: the light master.

The skills are awesome, and the damage is really high, but the special effects are like they're free. They're so flashy that even Lu Yun felt embarrassed and awkward.

to be frank.

At first glance, the elemental mage seems better; he has a system, and if he has elemental damage bonuses, he will be more powerful.

But that's the problem.

He has a system, he doesn't lack damage, and he won't lack skill books and equipment in the future.

With his current damage output, adding 300% is just icing on the cake.

As for increasing attribute resistance and casting speed, he has plenty of those.

He is now almost omnipotent, but switching to the elemental mage class is rather pointless as it doesn't offer much of a boost.

Blood mages are somewhat capable, but their class system is likely pretty much ruined after the class change.

There are no mana points, no casting restrictions, only damage buffs, and skills will become covered in blood. If you really get a turn like that, life will lose all its color.

I'm afraid even the most filial son won't want to play with him anymore.

Therefore, Lu Yun felt that the Forbidden Mage was more suitable.

First of all, he is not without flaws. For example, if the opponent has invincible abilities, he will be helpless.

If the opponent uses their invincibility period to deal with him, it will be very difficult for him, and there is a chance that he will die.

Since this profession can ignore defense and invincibility effects, he can then use the "unaffected by turtle shell" and "damage-inflicting" abilities.

Just like in today's dungeon, he didn't care that his damage was reduced by half, but the monsters had defense and would take some of the damage, making him feel that his damage had been severely cut.

In the future, he will most likely enter high-level dungeons to grind monsters, but the monsters in these dungeons have very high defense, which is very disadvantageous for him.

But if he had this forbidden power, what would he be afraid of?

Secondly, the fact that this profession would no longer consume mana made him very happy.

He's great in every way right now, except he's short on mana. If he had that ability, he could unleash his skills indefinitely.

No matter how many monsters there are, they're all no match for the endless nuclear explosions that wash over the underground.

As for the extra stats gained from leveling up, that's just icing on the cake.

Finally, after changing jobs, his fate could no longer be seen. He read the explanation, which meant that no matter how many levels higher the level of the strong person was, they would no longer be able to see his panel information. This was the best protection for a commoner who had no background but rose to prominence unexpectedly.

Therefore, whether it ignores defenses, consumes no resources, or cannot be spied on, it is a good thing for him to make up for his shortcomings and provide timely help.

"I choose to switch to the Forbidden Mage class."

Upon hearing this, the two were taken aback.

However, seeing his serious expression, Xu Qingmeng thought for a moment and nodded.

"Although I also think the elemental mage is better, you have your own choice, so I support you."

Lu Yun is not the kind of person who acts on a whim; on the contrary, he is very opinionated and farsighted.

In addition, his skills have become... well, they're pretty overpowered.

In comparison, the elemental mage is indeed a bit of a waste.

Lu Yun is the type of person who acts on his thoughts without hesitation.

【Ding! 】

【congratulations!】

Job change successful!

[You have been promoted to: Forbidden Mage!]
