While Zhou Yanqian was still eating fries, Uncle Li drove up and picked up Daju and Dali.

He sat on a small stool, watching Xiaoxi and her grandmother tidy up the martial arts hall, chatting and laughing.

Zhou Yanqian ate fries and drank milk tea, and was so bored that he swung his legs around.

Usually, Xiaoxi would ask him to do this or that. He wanted to play with Xiaoxi, but he was too shy.

Zhou Yanqian tapped his fingers, took another sip of milk tea, and then heard Jin Xi say, "Baby, come here quickly."

Zhou Yanqian jumped up and ran over, shouting, "Coming!"

Jinxi lowered her head, tore off a sticker, and then stuck it on his forehead: "Good boy, here you can play with it."

Zhou Yanqian held the sticker in her hand, then glanced at Yang Hongyan, who was working, her little mouth pursed tightly.

Jinxi asked, "What's wrong? Why do you look like this?"

Zhou Yanqian replied, "Nothing."

But his gaze unconsciously drifted towards Yang Hongyan.

Jinxi thought for a moment, and she roughly understood Zanzan's hesitation. She asked, "Are you full?"

Zhou Yanqian nodded: "Of course I'm full."

Although I didn't finish the Big Mac, I did finish the fries and drank half of the milk tea.

"Now that you've eaten, let's get to work," Jinxi said. "Go and take the training targets out of that box, and put them into the cabinet one by one. Can you do that?"

Zhou Yanqian said, "What's so difficult about that!"

Jinxi smiled and gently patted his cheek with the back of her hand: "Okay, once you've put it away and Grandma and I are all packed, we can go home with Grandma."

Zhou Yanqian replied modestly, "I understand."

He put the stickers down and went back to his work.

After finishing her work, Zan Zan looked noticeably happier.

Jinxi couldn't help but smile as she watched his busy little figure. How come she hadn't noticed before that Zanzan loved to work so much?

With Yang Hongyan's help, the work started several hours earlier than expected.

Jinxi washed her hands. The rain outside was still falling, but it had lessened considerably.

She messaged the housekeeper, Zhao, telling the kitchen not to prepare dinner, and then called out, "Zanzan, pack your things, we're leaving."

Zhou Yanqian had just finished washing his hands and said, "I don't have anything."

He brought only oranges and lychees, which Uncle Li had already taken back when he came to pick them up.

Jinxi picked up her bag and held out her hand to Zanzan: "Let's go."

Zhou Yanqian glanced at it, but in the end, he obediently took the hand.

Yang Hongyan watched from the side and said, "I've never seen such an obedient baby. Even more obedient than you were when you were little."

Zhou Yanqian stared intently ahead, but his ears perked up. Hmm? Was Xiaoxi disobedient when she was little?

Jinxi noticed his little actions and covered his ears: "Don't eavesdrop."

Zhou Yanqian blinked innocently: "I wasn't eavesdropping."

He listened openly and honestly!

Jinxi pinched his cheek, and Yang Hongyan said, "Don't keep pinching his cheeks, or he'll drool."

Jinxi exclaimed in surprise, "Huh? There's such a saying?"

Zhou Yanqian also looked like the sky had fallen: "No, it can't be."

He couldn't bear to imagine himself drooling. As the future president of the Zhou Group, the inheritor of Jin Family Martial Arts, the barbecue chef, the fried chicken selector, and the number one skateboarder, how could he possibly drool?!

Jinxi hadn't thought of it at first, but seeing how Zanzan looked like the sky was falling, she mischievously pinched the other side: "If it's symmetrical like this, maybe it'll be fixed."

Zhou Yanqian stared at her in disbelief. How dare she! How could she be so self-righteous!

Yang Hongyan noticed it too, and said helplessly, "Why are you teasing my little darling? How old are you? You're still so immature."

Zhou Yanqian wholeheartedly agreed, "That's right, that's right! They're all grown up, yet they're still not mature enough!"

Jinxi laughed when she was told off: "The main thing is that if I don't touch him now, he'll grow up, and his face will be hard and won't feel as good to touch."

Yang Hongyan tapped her forehead: "You're still like a child."

Jinxi pouted: "Mom, Zanzan is still watching, give me some face."

Zhou Yanqian held his chin high at this moment. Hmph, serves him right. Who told Xiao Xi to bully a child?

Yang Hongyan said, "That's all, the car is here."

Yang Hongyan walked over first with her umbrella. Jin Xiyi was about to hold up her umbrella, but when Yang Hongyan wasn't looking, she lowered her head and rubbed Zan Zan's little face.

Zhou Yanqian was shocked: "You're disobedient."

Jinxi snorted: "Don't think I didn't see your smug little face just now. Kids are supposed to be obedient, but I'm an adult now, I don't have to be obedient."

Zhou Yanqian was furious but dared not speak out. So they were just bullying a kid like him!

Zhou Yanqian got into a taxi. He originally wanted to avoid looking at Jinxi as usual, but if he didn't look at Jinxi, he would have to look at his grandmother.

Whether it was an acquaintance or a stranger, Zhou Yanqian hesitated for only a few seconds before silently clinging to Jin Xi's arm.

Jinxi said, "We don't have a high chair, so you'll have to make do for now. Do you want me to carry you?"

Zhou Yanqian hesitated for a moment, but still stayed close to Jin Xi.

Jinxi then pulled him onto her lap and sat him sideways: "Alright, are you comfortable now?"

She knew that Zan Zan's obsessive-compulsive disorder was acting up, but she was too embarrassed to say it because Yang Hongyan was there.

Zhou Yanqian sat on her lap, feeling a little embarrassed. He really didn't want her to hug him!

But Jinxi clearly wasn't going to ask again. She asked, "Mom, is it far?"

"It's only about ten minutes, not far," Yang Hongyan said. "Your dad has sent me several messages asking when we're coming back so he can fry some paomo (a type of fried dough stick) for you."

"Then tell Dad we're going back now," Jinxi said. "It's been so long since I've had authentic paomo (a type of cold noodle dish)!"

Zhou Yanqian asked in confusion, "What's 'paopi'?"

Jinxi said, "It's crispy pork, but this kind of crispy pork comes in chunks, unlike the kind you usually eat."

Zhou Yanqian became even more curious. Judging from Xiao Xi's expression, it must be delicious.

He still had some expectations.
