On the Eight Extremes Star, I awakened the twelve talismans.
Chapter 76 4 Red Dots
"Oh, okay." Phil seemed surprised that she would say that.
Dia helped Laer and Sama load things into the car, and Snow White and Lingling also went to help.
Phil led Ye Han to the other side, away from the busy group, and said in a low voice, "Ye Han, you've helped us so much, and now we still have something to ask you. We really feel embarrassed."
"It's alright." Ye Han glanced at Dia, who was stuffing boxes into the car with Sama not far away.
"I'll take good care of Dia. If you want to realize your dream of the Bakery Circus, then go for it. No matter how vast the universe is, there will always be a chance to meet again."
"Yes, there will always be a chance to meet again. Thank you so much this time."
Ye Han took a cell phone out of his pocket, pulled Philip's hand over, placed the phone in his palm, and closed his fingers: "Take this. You can use it to contact me if you need anything. There are 100 million in the account. You can't travel the universe without money. If it's not enough, just let me know."
Philip looked down and saw that his phone screen had thoughtfully set up a unique quick contact, with the name Ye Han.
He quickly declined, saying, "This is too valuable, we can't accept it. You helped us deal with Kalia and retrieved the Golden Cube for Dia, and now you're giving us so much money? It's not appropriate."
"It's alright, take it. I don't have many friends to begin with, so you guys are one of them."
Phil, holding the phone, had no choice but to put it away: "Okay, then I won't refuse. We'll message you first thing once we're settled in."
"That's more like it."
That evening, at Ye Han's suggestion, everyone stayed in the emptied circus tent for one last big meal.
This meal served as a farewell banquet.
Everyone had a great time at the dinner table. Although it was a farewell dinner, no one deliberately mentioned the word "farewell" and they talked about lighthearted topics.
When they talked about Kra, Phil and the other two learned that Ye Han had dealt with the madman who destroyed the Star Society, and they all breathed a sigh of relief.
Sama declared, "He's finally got what he deserves."
"If it weren't for the people sent by Kra to capture Dia, our town wouldn't have been bombed into ruins. I wanted to teach him a lesson back then."
The ruins where the circus is located were originally a quiet town on Mars, inhabited by ordinary people who lived simple and peaceful lives.
Because Dia was wanted by the Galaxy Eye, Clara tracked him down here. A bombing raid razed the entire town to the ground, killing countless innocent residents.
The Bakery Circus was transformed from a lively little troupe into a night watchman in ruins, all thanks to them.
The conversation quickly veered in a more relaxed direction...
The next day, Mars Space Station.
The two groups of people stood facing each other.
Phil, Sama, and Lal carried simple bags, with their equally spotless spaceship parked behind them.
Everything that needed to be moved from the truck was loaded onto the boat: prop boxes, folding tents, and all the belongings.
"Ye Han, Dia...we're leaving. We'll let you know as soon as we find a place to stay!" Phil waved vigorously at the group from the gangway, his red nose reflecting the sunlight.
Dia waved vigorously at the group, a bright smile on his face—this time it wasn't fake, it was genuine.
"Thank you! Please be sure to message me, don't forget about me once you get there and are so focused on the performance!"
"Definitely! Definitely!"
The spaceship's engines started, and it slowly drove away from the space station.
The group stood there, watching the spaceship fly higher and higher, farther and farther away, until it became a small dot on the horizon, flashed for a moment, and then disappeared completely into the clouds.
The Bakery Circus has embarked on another journey to find a place where laughter is needed.
After seeing them off, Ye Han led the group to check into a top-tier hotel in downtown Tharsis.
The room is spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the entire city.
After chatting at the dinner table last night, Dia has gradually integrated into this small group.
She learned that Ye Han was from Earth, Bai Xue was a fighter from Tianxue Star, and Lingling was a super robot.
Everyone has a unique background and experience, yet they are all simple and pure people.
This lessened the sense of bewilderment she had felt about leaving the circus.
"Ye Han, aren't we supposed to be taking Bai Xue to the Eight Extremes Star? Why aren't we leaving now? What are we doing at the hotel?" Dia put down her backpack and asked curiously.
"No rush, let's have fun for a couple of days before we set off. I'll take care of things here first."
Ye Han stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, with a system panel floating in front of him that only he could see.
The panel displays a global map of Mars, marked with four slowly moving red dots, each representing a free agent.
I silently did some calculations in my mind.
Even if each free agent only gets ten energy points, the minimum guarantee is four consecutive draws.
However, luck might not be so bad. Kalia and Clara both gave me over ten points, so maybe I can make enough for over ten consecutive pulls.
After closing the panel, Ye Han gave a few brief instructions and left.
Three of the four red dots are in Tharsis, the city where he is currently located.
One of them is McDonald, the young man in red who participated in the finals of yesterday's cooking competition.
The other red dot is located near the city's administrative center. Judging from its movement pattern, it doesn't seem to be an ordinary citizen. It's more likely Don Wood, a low-ranking law enforcement officer dispatched to Mars by the Interstellar Alliance.
Finally, there's Dia, whom Ye Han hasn't absorbed yet, but there's no rush, so we'll talk about it later.
We must meet with the other two; we can't miss it.
McDonald is easy to deal with. You can absorb his energy points with ease. He's simple-minded and straightforward. You should be able to get through to him without too much trouble.
As for Tangwood, since he is a member of the Interstellar Alliance, it's not appropriate to try to get close to him directly.
Ye Han planned to use perfect invisibility to go in, finish the job, and leave without anyone noticing.
On the other side of the city.
A small, unassuming noodle shop is tucked away in the narrow space between two tall buildings; its storefront is so narrow that you could easily walk right past it if you weren't paying attention.
It wasn't lunchtime yet, and there were only a few tables of customers in the restaurant. The aroma of simmering bone broth wafted from the kitchen, mixed with the smoky smell from the street barbecue stalls, creating a sense of peaceful, down-to-earth charm.
McDonald sat near the door with three empty bowls stacked in front of him and a steaming bowl of beef noodles in his hand, enjoying his meal immensely.
He slurped up a big mouthful of noodles and gave Hama a thumbs-up across the table, his words muffled:
"The chef on Mars is incredibly skilled! The noodles are perfectly chewy, the broth is incredibly flavorful, and the beef is so tender—every single one deserves a score of over 90! Hama, don't you really want to try a bite?"
Across from him, Hama sported a frizzy, afro-like hairstyle, and his square face was etched with utter despair.
There was a bowl of noodles in front of him, but the chopsticks were still neatly placed on the chopstick rest, untouched.
"McDonald, we came to Mars to find a way to the Rainbow Sea, not just to eat noodles. This is your fourth bowl already."
"The prize money from the culinary competition is for travel expenses, not for eating noodles!"
