Time flies, and three days have passed since Li Yichen handed the information to Gu Shounian.

Feeling bored that day, Liu Bing and Han Fei invited him to get a massage, so Li Yichen, Liu Bing, and Han Fei went to Heaven on Earth once again.

Li Yichen leaned back in the massage chair.

His right hand rested on the armrest, an unlit cigarette between his fingers.

Technician No. 88 knelt on the soft cushion, his thumb pushing up along the metacarpal bone, his fingertip pressing into the muscle gaps with precise force.

On the massage chair next to her, Liu Bing buried her face in the breathing hole and mumbled something in a low voice.

"Brother Li, isn't the technique of this technician number 88 good? Last time I had a stiff neck, it felt better after just one massage."

Han Fei lay on another massage chair.

His eyes were half-closed.

"It's not just the technique that's impressive; look at the ambiance—a sandalwood foot bath tub, Xinjiang long-staple cotton towels, and even the background music is guqin music. There's a reason why Heaven on Earth has been able to operate in Shanghai for over twenty years."

Li Yichen did not respond.

The phone rang.

It's not a WeChat notification sound. It's an incoming call ringtone.

The screen on the massage chair's armrest lit up. An unfamiliar number flashed on the screen. The last four digits were eight. This wasn't a number used by ordinary people.

Li Yichen stared at the screen for two seconds.

Could it be Gu Shounian again?

Press the answer button.

"Feed".

The familiar middle-aged male voice came through the receiver. Every word was as steady as if it had been weighed.

"Mr. Li, it's me, Gu Shounian."

Li Yichen sat up from the massage chair. Technician No. 88 immediately stopped what she was doing and took half a step back.

"Colonel Gu," Li Yichen placed his cigarette on the coffee table, "What is it?"

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone.

Two things.

Gu Shounian's voice came through the receiver. In the background, there was the sound of rustling paper being turned.

"First thing. The information you gave me the other day was reviewed by experts who worked through the night. The results are in."

Li Yichen's fingers stopped on the armrest of the massage chair.

"The authenticity of the information has been verified."

Gu Shounian paused for a moment.

"Energy density, cycle life, capacity retention—every single data point matches. The expert team above conducted small-batch trials in the lab according to the process parameters you provided, and the resulting samples fully met the performance standards. Therefore—"

The sound of a sheet of paper being closed came through the microphone.

"The Tianhe-3 supercomputer that was promised to you is already on its way. It should arrive at the Future Technology Building by tomorrow morning at the latest."

Something heavy fell into Li Yichen's chest.

Tianhe-3.

That supercomputer has a peak floating-point operation capability of one quadrillion calculations per second. It's a national treasure, one of only a handful in the entire Great Xia Dynasty.

I'll arrive tomorrow morning.

"And another thing," Gu Shounian continued. "The second thing. The higher-ups have already sent a letter to the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Industry and Commerce regarding the two thousand acres of industrial land in the suburbs of Shanghai. You can go and select the land at any time. You can choose the location yourself, and once you've chosen it, just report it to the bureau, and they will assist you with the procedures. You won't have to pay a single penny."

Li Yichen stood up from the massage chair. Technician No. 88 stepped aside and retreated behind the screen.

"Colonel Gu, thank you for your hard work."

"It's my duty." Gu Shounian's tone carried a hint of a smile. "By the way, this is my personal number. Save it. You can contact me directly if anything comes up."

Li Yichen saved the number into his contacts.

"Colonel Gu, let's have dinner together sometime when you're free."

"it is good."

The phone hangs up.

Li Yichen stood beside the massage chair. The screen of his phone was still lit. The ceiling spotlights cast warm yellow circles of light on the floor.

Three days.

From the day the private chef in Dashengli handed over the data to the completion of the review and the start of the transport of Tianhe-3, only three days had passed.

This level of efficiency cannot be explained by the word "emphasis".

Liu Bing rolled over in the massage chair. He had been half-closing his eyes, but every word Li Yichen said had reached his ears. What "above," what "the stuff will arrive tomorrow."

These words hit him hard, sending a shiver down his spine.

Above.

If he understood correctly, those two words represented the Heavenly Court.

Does Brother Li have connections with the Heavenly Court?

Liu Bing's breathing quickened. He had always thought Li Yichen was an incredibly wealthy capitalist. Spending over 8 billion to acquire Hongyuan New Energy, 1.5 billion to invest in a special medicine, and 30 billion to build a super factory—these things were already outrageous.

But now—the word "above" comes out of Li Yichen's mouth so casually, as if he were saying the weather is nice today.

This is not something that can be achieved simply by having money.

Han Fei also got up from the massage chair. He had been listening quietly the whole time. Now, watching Li Yichen put his phone back in his pocket, the slight smile on his lips gave him an inexplicable sense of oppression.

"Brother Li," Han Fei said, "what's got you so happy?"

Liu Bing also joined in.

"Brother Li, what did you just say? What good stuff is arriving tomorrow?"

Li Yichen turned his head, noticing the undisguised curiosity on the faces of the two people.

"It's nothing." He picked up the cigarette from the coffee table and put it back in the pack. "I just asked my superiors for something a few days ago. It'll arrive tomorrow."

Liu Bing swallowed hard.

Above.

It was indeed above.

His mind raced in that instant. Just who was Brother Li? A cash flow of tens of billions was already terrifying enough. Now he could even contact the higher-ups directly and demand things from them.

This is something that cannot be explained by the children of the wealthy or the first generation of wealthy individuals.

This is a higher level of existence.

Han Fei sat in the massage chair. The water in the foot massage basin was still circulating, making a soft gurgling sound. He looked at Li Yichen's young face, and only one thought kept running through his mind—this man's background was much deeper than they had previously guessed.

Having money is not scary.

Having power is not scary.

It would be terrifying if someone had money, power, and could even speak to those in power.

Li Yichen took out a wad of cash from his pocket. He pulled out ten bills and placed them on the coffee table.

Bright red banknotes were placed next to the rosewood tea tray.

"Number 88." He glanced behind the screen.

Technician number eighty-eight emerged from behind the screen. She was in her early thirties, dressed in a plain-colored work uniform. She glanced down at the banknotes on the coffee table and quickly waved her hand.

"Sir, you have already made a purchase."

"This isn't a charge." Li Yichen put the remaining cash back in his pocket. "Your technique was indeed excellent. Here's a tip for you, keep it."

Technician number 88 was stunned for a moment.

I've worked at Heaven on Earth for two years now, and I've encountered customers who tip. But the most they tip is usually two or three hundred, just to round it up. It's extremely rare to see someone throw in a thousand.

She bowed.

"Thank you, sir."

Li Yichen turned around.

"Liu Bing, Han Fei, you two continue pressing. I have to go back to the company first."

Liu Bing sat up straight in the massage chair.

"Brother Li, what's the rush? Do you want us to come with you?"

"Need not."

Li Yichen pushed open the door to the private room. Clutching the car keys to the U8, he walked through the corridor and out of the Heaven on Earth.

The sun was hanging low in the west at a little past three in the afternoon. Waves of heat swept over from the street, carrying with them the acrid smell of burning asphalt.

Li Yichen got into the driver's seat. He started the engine. The central control screen lit up. The navigation system automatically planned the route to the Future Technology Building.

After half an hour.

The black U8 turned into the auxiliary road of the Future Technology Building.

Parking lot entrance.

The turnstile stood across the windshield. The red and white railings remained perfectly still.

Li Yichen stepped on the brake. The car window rolled down.

A middle-aged man in a dark blue security uniform sat in the guard booth. He was in his thirties, with a square face and a layer of bluish stubble on his chin. The security guard looked up from the registration form and glanced at the black SUV.

No employee ID.

There is no company parking permit affixed to the lower left corner of the windshield.

The security guard put down his pen, stood up, and pushed open the door of the guard booth to come out.

"Sir." The security guard stood by the car window. One hand was on the walkie-talkie at his waist, and the other pointed to the left side of the windshield. "Please show me your employee ID."

Li Yichen rested one hand on the steering wheel.

Employee ID badge.

Those two words hit him hard.

He is the boss of Future Technology. He bought the entire 32-story office building with his own money.

He paid for all the money that was deposited into the salaries of the four or five hundred employees who worked on the twenty-fourth to twenty-eighth floors each month.

But he can't get into the parking lot now.

Because he didn't have a work badge.

Li Yichen tapped his fingers twice on the steering wheel. He turned to look at the security guard outside the car window.

"I am Li Yichen."

The security guard stood still. The muscles in his square face remained unchanged.

"I don't recognize him." The security guard ran his fingers over the walkie-talkie on his waist. "According to company regulations, external vehicles must show their employee ID or register as visitors before entering the parking lot. If you don't have an employee ID, please use the ground visitor entrance and register at the front desk first."

Li Yichen leaned back in the driver's seat.

Come on.

I can't even get into the company I own.
