Survival Game: Call Me an Honest Businessman

When the procession carrying tribute appeared, the merchants lying in ambush began to breathe heavily.

Li Zhi knew that this wasn't just nervousness, but also fear and excitement.

Regardless of the purpose of these two level 4 merchants, anyone who goes up to the 7th floor to participate in the caravan robbery mission is a gambler willing to take risks.

The footsteps grew closer, and the ground trembled more and more.

The leading merchant was none other than Ya Jin, the sister of the Tiger Clan's leader.

She wore golden armor, rode atop a ferocious beast, and surveyed her surroundings warily.

Behind her, there were three queues.

Orcs in black armor were responsible for escorting, orcs in gold armor were responsible for management, and orcs in blue armor were responsible for transportation.

Among the group of orcs traveling light, carrying only spatial equipment, the group in the very center, whose members were camel-like beasts carrying huge cages, was particularly eye-catching.

The short merchant's voice entered everyone's minds: "Someone will appear and cause chaos later. We just need to take the goods from any cage."

A merchant asked, "Are there orcs in there too? What would we need orcs for?"

The tall merchant said, "No need to ask, just know that you can take 100 gold coins with you."

Li Zhi: "There are other people causing chaos? I thought it was just a few of us."

The short merchant said impatiently, "Without anyone causing chaos, do you think we can just barge in? Remember, grab the person and run. Just run to the location I told you about before, and wait there for our people to come and meet you."

Li Zhi originally wanted to ask a few more questions, but the orc team was already very close, so she held her breath and didn't even dare to use her communication card.

Ya Jin led the team away from Li Zhi's sight.

A wild beast carrying a cage is approaching.

A group of ragged, wandering orcs arrived at the edge of the woods.

The entire team paused briefly.

The orc warriors in golden armor on the periphery shouted at the group of wandering orcs, warning them not to approach, before maintaining their previous order and following the group forward.

The group of wandering orcs seemed to be frightened, remaining motionless for a while until the rear of the caravan carrying the cages appeared.

They swarmed forward, rushing over before the orc warriors could react.

The orc in golden armor roared, "Three teams, prepare to fight!"

The orcs in black armor charged forward, drawing their melee weapons and splattering blood. The group of wandering orcs had almost no chance to resist and were slaughtered.

Within the group, a merchant's voice trembled: "This...this is what you meant by creating chaos, senior?"

There were at least thirty of those wandering orcs, while the merchants and Shadowmane mercenaries together numbered less than thirty. How could they possibly defeat the Orc Alliance warriors?

Level 4 Merchant: "Lie down."

Li Zhi immediately lay down and put a protective shield on himself.

A loud bang.

The loess soil overturned the grassland, the trees on the edge of the forest collapsed, and the orc warriors bled.

But that was only the first sound; then came the third, and the third...

Li Zhi felt his head buzzing before the explosion finally ended.

Fortunately, the impact was far enough away that it did not activate the protective shield, but it did leave her covered in dirt and mud.

"Let's go! Now's the time!"

The businessmen around Li Zhi were already trembling with fear.

However, some people rushed out with the two level 4 merchants.

Li Zhi was helped up by Hua Yan, casually wiped his face, and frowned, saying, "Something's not right."

Hua Yan: "I also felt something was wrong. Those wandering orcs weren't wandering orcs at all; they were carrying bombs. The merchant who gave me the money was also strange. He just sent me a telepathic message telling me to leave first, saying that I had completed my mission and that the gold coins had been transferred."

As the two were talking, the merchants had already opened the door of one of the cages.

Li Zhi didn't have time to think much and said, "You guys go hide first and wait for my orders."

Okay.

Hua Yan and the Shadow Mane Clan disappeared into the forest.

Li Zhi used an invisibility card to sneak up to a dead wandering orc and took a picture of the man's death using the panel.

A furious shout rang out, and Li Zhi looked up to see that the cage had been surrounded by orc warriors who had rushed over from both the front and rear.

Several orc merchants carrying flesh-bearing humans were trapped in the middle, while the two level 4 merchants had already disappeared.

Fortunately, she had marked it early on.

Li Zhi quietly retreated back into the woods and sent a message to Hua Yan and the others.

Just as the orc warriors were leading the orc merchants to the edge of the cage, Hua Yan rushed out carrying two level 4 merchants, shouting, "We've come to rescue you!"

Then he threw the two level 4 merchants into the middle of the other merchants, and, armed with level C weapons, charged into the orc warriors, shooting them one by one.

A wave of waves has risen again.

The orc warriors were noticeably less composed than before. Although they were being led by an orc warrior in golden armor, they no longer displayed the same level of discipline and obedience.

Huayan's team consisted of 15 people. Although the orc team suffered some injuries due to the human bombs of the wandering orcs, none of them died. After a brief period of chaos, they gradually began to suppress Huayan's team with their numerical advantage.

Li Zhi hid in the tree and waited.

Just as Hua Yan and the others were about to be captured, Ao's Feather Spirit Guards descended from the sky with a small squad of Feather Spirits.

"Sir, we..."

The orc warriors assumed it was a Feathered Spirit Clan delegation coming to receive tribute, and the orc in the lead, clad in golden armor, respectfully attempted to report.

But an arrow pierced his heart.

"Well--"

The hoarse, dying sound, accompanied by the thud of a body hitting the ground, abruptly ceased.

The remaining orc warriors were leaderless, and Huayan's forces took the opportunity to retreat. After a brief period of panic, the orcs gradually regrouped and questioned the winged spirits in mid-air:

"Sir, why did you kill our captain?"

An orc warrior mustered his courage and asked.

The Feathered Guard hovered in mid-air, its gaze sweeping over her before settling on the merchants standing beside the cage.

Two level 4 merchants.

Which one is Li Zhi, the new race who is doing the mission?

The figure doesn't even look like it.

However, there are too many items that can change one's appearance; only one's job level and race level cannot be changed.

Then take them all.

There will always be one.

The thought that even the people that His Highness Ao and Earl Yi wanted to capture had fallen into his hands made Yu Lingwei's tone rise a bit: "Kill all these orcs, and take those two level 4 merchants back."

The five-person Feathered Spirit Clan team, facing nearly a hundred Orc warriors, swiftly and overwhelmingly annihilated them.

Until even bigger explosions, roars, and sounds of fighting followed.

Two of the Feathered Spirit Guards grabbed the two Level 4 merchants and quickly retreated.

They left behind a pile of unclaimed goods, spatial equipment, and fleshy people who, even after their cages were opened, still hadn't escaped.
