Citibank Los Angeles branch, top-floor vice president's office.

Dalson slumped on the sofa, his usually meticulously combed hair now disheveled, and his expensive tie hanging crookedly around his neck.

He was visibly haggard, and the arrogance he once had in the business world had vanished, leaving only endless despondency and panic.

Richie stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, pacing back and forth, his fingers anxiously swiping the screen of his phone, his brows furrowed, and his eyes filled with burning frustration.

On the desk were three pieces of paper: a subpoena from the federal court, an asset freeze order from the Commercial Crime Bureau, and a tax audit notice from the IRS.

Each of the three pieces of paper is a death warrant.

Twenty-four hours earlier, their business rivals and political enemies simultaneously received an anonymous email.

Inside were all the evidence of their crimes over the decades. The person who sent the evidence even thoughtfully sent copies of the originals to the federal court, the IRS, and the Los Angeles Police Department.

Now all their companies are suspended from trading, their assets are frozen, and their personal accounts are seized.

The Commercial Crime Bureau has opened a case, and an arrest warrant will be issued within 24 hours at most.

The preliminary estimates by the federal court regarding the fines and damages are enough to burden them with enormous debts for a lifetime.

Even more deadly was the arson case at the nursing home, which claimed six lives. If convicted, the perpetrators would face a lifetime in prison.

Who is it?

Dalson's voice was hoarse as he stared at the three pieces of paper on the coffee table.

"Who exactly dug these things up?"

"Cannot be found."

Richie held his phone in his hand, his knuckles turning white.

"I hired a cybersecurity company to trace the source of that email. The server address was fake, the IP route went through at least six countries, and the logs of each node were wiped clean, making it impossible to trace."

Victoria sat behind her desk, coldly watching the two men.

One was her father, and the other was her fiancé.

With her blonde hair and blue eyes, her features were cold and sharp, and her well-tailored business suit accentuated her powerful aura.

But at this moment, a layer of frost, which could not be melted away, also covered those beautiful eyes.

"The company was maliciously shorted, all assets are being rapidly liquidated, and the banks are pressing for repayment. We have lost everything, and to this day we don't even know who is behind it all."

Dalson spoke with such force that each word seemed to be uttered with great effort. He raised his hand to rub his throbbing temples, his eyes bloodshot.

"What's worse is that the federal court has already accepted the case, and the arrest warrant will be delivered to us within 24 hours at most."

Richie whirled around, his face ashen.

"We can't just sit here and wait to die! We still have some money, spread across several offshore accounts."

That's enough to hire a team of top-notch assassins to find the person hiding behind the scenes who's plotting against us and take him out!

Then we took Victoria and left America immediately!

Victoria listened in silence until Richie finished speaking, then she slowly raised her eyes, her tone as cold as ice:

"Who to hire? We don't even know the people behind the scenes."

Richie gritted his teeth, his eyes fierce.

"As long as the money is right, there's no one in this world you can't find, and no task you can't accomplish!"

Dalson clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles turned white, and his eyes swirled with venomous hatred.

"Never mind who we hire, the most urgent thing is to find out who that person is! I want to drag him out myself, watch him kneel before me begging for mercy, and then send him to hell with my own hands!"

The three were still plotting their revenge and escape in the office, completely unaware that their every move had already been observed by others.

Meanwhile, in the study of the Beverly Hills estate.

Chen Mo sat on a Chinese-style sandalwood chair, practicing his disguise skills.

The ghost knocked softly on the door, came before him, stood ramrod straight, and reported respectfully.

"Boss, Dalson and Richie have entered Citibank's Los Angeles branch and are having a private meeting with Victoria Dalson in the vice president's office on the top floor."

"Victoria Dalson..."

Chen Mo slowly repeated the name, a faint smile curving his lips.

"Is this the vice president who personally signed the documents to freeze my bank account?"

"Yes, she is Dalson's daughter and Richie's fiancée."

The ghost answered in response.

Actually, without Ghost saying much, Chen Mo had already thoroughly investigated Victoria's background when he used hacking techniques to investigate the information of these wealthy people.

He had seen her photos; she had blonde hair and blue eyes, and was indeed strikingly beautiful.

At such a young age, he was able to take the position of vice president of Citibank's Los Angeles branch. It wasn't due to any real ability, but entirely because of the influence of the Dilson and Rich families. It was all paving the way for a marriage alliance.

The information stated that she graduated from Harvard Business School with a master's degree, worked on Wall Street for three years, and was eventually parachuted into the Los Angeles branch by Dalson using his extensive connections—a true heiress.

Chen Mo became interested.

"He's an interesting person."

Chen Mo chuckled softly and slowly stood up.

"Perfect timing, my bank card has been frozen by her without reason, so I'll go to the bank to unfreeze it and meet this Miss Victoria while I'm at it, just to join in the fun."

"I'll go prepare the car right away."

The ghost immediately responded, turned around, and left the study.

Not long after, a stretched Lincoln pulled up in front of Citibank.

Chen Mo and You Ling walked straight through the revolving doors into the bank lobby, heading straight for the elevator.

Upon seeing this, the receptionist immediately stepped forward to stop them, her face showing professional vigilance.

"Sir, do you have an appointment? You can't just enter the office area without permission."

The ghost stopped, a gentle smile on his face, his tone calm yet carrying a sense of oppression:

"My boss is an important client of your bank, with deposits of over one billion US dollars. Now his account has been frozen without cause by your bank's vice president, Ms. Victoria. We need to communicate in person to resolve this issue, so please step aside."

Upon hearing the amount of over a billion US dollars, the staff immediately stepped back to make way.

The two stepped directly into the elevator.

After exiting the elevator, the vice president's office is at the end of the corridor.

The door wasn't locked, and you could faintly hear Dalson's hoarse voice and Richie's anxious footsteps coming from inside.

Chen Mo didn't stop walking; Ghost stepped forward and pushed open the office door.

The door was suddenly pushed open, and the three of them turned around at once.

Dalson and Richie were stunned for a few seconds. How did this yellow-skinned monkey get here?

Victoria stood up, placed her hands on the desk, her cold and beautiful face full of anger, and stared down at Chen Mo and Ghost.

"Who are you? This is my private office, not a place for unauthorized personnel to barge in. Leave immediately, or I'll call security!"

Chen Mo didn't answer her, but walked into the office on his own, with Ghost following behind him.

Chen Mo's gaze passed over Victoria and landed on Dalson on the sofa and Richie by the window.

"Long time no see. You two look much more haggard than in those security camera videos. Haven't you been getting enough rest?"
